Great Northern Popcorn (6092) Antique Style Popcorn Popper Machine Reviews

Glad I bought this on rollback last week but still may return. I researched and read A LOT of reviews etc in this model be?fire I ordered. I'm OCD and tried 2 kinds of coconut oils, 3 brands oopcirn, yellow and white but this doesn't deliver the pro crunch. Almost taste stale and like air popped. Flavor I perfected but without the right crunch we can't enjoy this machine. My GF whose not nearly as picky as me noticed the crunch. As part of my trouble shooting I used the recipes and same product in stove with A big standard pot on the stove and was able to get a much better result. GF was able to tell stove popped vs this machine. On a positive the machine Arrived much faster than was told online, was in perfect condition and only had to put the door on. No tools needed. CAREFUL the stainless steal is sharp. Always be patient with putting together, cleaning and popping. DON'T let children handle this machine it's not a toy. I heard adjusting the kettle thermostat can help get the crunch right BUT this model you can't access the thermostat. It's not same as thermostats I found on youtube. Great American Popcorn companie s toll free number does not work. The only way you can reach is submit a form to support online. I've done so today. Will update this review if possible based on support and ability to resolve. Full quality and experience matters especially because you can't go to a movie and get popcorn anywhere right now. I was at another retailers store today who has concessions and sells popcorn but concessions are also closed because of covid. Our movie nights must have pro quality popcorn! :-)

The warming light doesnt work and seems really slow compared to the first one .

be careful when it comes to shipping opened up only to find that the bulb had broken and all the glass got everywhere in the bottom and in the crevice in the back of the popcorn machine that had to be vacuumed out. honestly not sure why the bulb is already put in it when it should be in the box that came with it or in something separate at the moment trying to get the bulb out and it seems like it's completely broken. also there is no manual or in my case it didn't come with one.

I turned my living room into an entertainment room. Al I was missing was my popcorn machine! I got it before the scheduled time and I have been popping every day! I love it and so does my family! It adds some class to the space!! It looks fabulous ! The popcorn is great too!!

Love it! Exactly like movie theatre popcorn. EZ cleaning , did use a vacuum attachment to clean out bottom of machine, worked great.Does heat up a lot faster than what they say. Mine takes all of 1 minute.

I got this to use at a kids birthday party. I set up in the backyard using an extension cord. I ran it on and off for about 3 hours. When I went to unplug it, I saw that the power cord had melted and fused with the extension cord. I had to use a lot of force to pull it apart and the metal prongs came out, rendering the appliance useless without costly repair. It's possible the problem was with the extension cord, but I've used that cord many times with no issues so seems like it was the cord on the popcorn machine.

This machine works well , was easy to put together. Using this machine is easy and makes good popcorn. The only reason I give it a four star and not five is because it is a little inconvenient to clean.

Wayfair was great to work with. Popcorn maker works very well for our concession stand.

I went in my local store for them to help me buy the machine online. The lady was very very helpful when walmart don't have the computer in the store for customers to buy online anymore. I like how fast I received my pop corn machine but I don't like that UPS just put the machine over my gate with out coming to the door. I'm still working out my measurements on the oil and corn I will update when I get it right this weekend for my son first birthday.

The popcorn popper arrived in excellent condition, very well packaged. Assembly was very minimal and everything fit. All parts were there except the scoop which we have already anyway so no big deal. We have used several times already and it works great, and the popcorn taste wonderful. We only got the upper unit and wish we had got the whole thing now with the wheels, ect., but we put it on top of a antique mini ice box reproduction so still looks old fashion. Very pleased with all aspects of ordering, receiving and use. Would recommend this item.
