The first use of this coffee maker was great. The second time we used it, aka the second day we had it, it started leaking water from the bottom and would not brew a full pot of coffee due to losing so much water. It also leaked onto our floor potentially cause damage to the hardwood. Hoping to get this replaced by B&D.

This was a gift for Christmas. I just got around to opening it today because of some health issues. Well a piece was broken off under the plastic it was wrapped in.

After having a Krups for close to 40 years I was hesitant to purchase this Black and Decker. It was purchased because it was the only 12 cup to fit under my cabinets and it was white. It has not disappointed, great cup of coffee, keeps hot for 2 hours and then shuts off. The key to a great cup of coffee in my opinion is use quality coffee, ratio of coffee to quality water (e.i. bottled spring water, if you have hard water), keeping your pot clean by brewing 12 cups once a month half white vinegar and water. Enjoying every cup in Florida.

We've owned the CM1100 maker for several months with excellent service. Coffee is great with no plastic after-taste. We recently cracked the base of the carafe and have been unable to locate a replacement. We would like to replace the carafe instead of the maker.

I am having trouble programming this coffeemaker. Instructions say to unplug when not in use, but the clock does not work when the coffeemaker is unplugged. Do I have to reset the clock every time I use this machine? Also, auto brew function does not seem to work, again because of programming issues: when I set the brew time it acts as though I've reset the actual time. Please advise. Thank you.

This is the second coffee maker I've bought from B&D that has done the same thing, only I just got the second one yesterday. The only thing that works is the clock. At least the first one I bought almost lasted a year. What happened to B&D?

Just bought this yesterday tried to use this morning but the only thing that works is the clock! It doesn't pull water or heat up at all very disappointed

I just bought the white one. I literally just took it out of the box. I checked the caraffe for cracks or damage in shipping. Rinsed the caraffe with Luke warm soap n water and was ready to fill and use it and the caraffe practically exploded in my hand with nothing in it. A huge crack formed across the top n the glass shattered everywhere. I looked online for a replacement caraffe and can't find one anywhere. Ive had it for an hour and it's useless.

We've had this coffee maker about four months, It's worked really well but yesterday the carafe got broken when washing. Can't find a replacement anywhere. The next coffee maker we buy we will be sure to check and see if replacement carafes are available. Otherwise a good coffee maker. Knocked off two star rating for this issue.;

The coffee maker itself worked great. But it is impossible to find a replacement carafe for this device. Losing one star for each of the two "universal" carafes I have already bought that will not work with this coffee maker. (One of which is Black and Deckers own)
