My sister gifted to me; because I need one for my food because I can’t eat solids. Hers wasn’t so good just lasted 23.5 months. I hope my last more than hers. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I like the design and simple removal of the parts for cleaning It has a larger cup than my older model which I really like. The food chopper is one kitchen appliance I can't do without.

This has got to be the worst appliance I’ve ever owned in my life. I received this as a birthday gift from my folks and I don’t have the heart to tell them that it’s actually a piece of junk. The way this works is you put your ingredients in the bowl you put the lid on and then you press down on the tab of the lid to engage the blade. There is nothing to keep the lid down other than holding onto it. I tried using it to coarsely chop some pistachios and as soon as I let up off the tab, the lid came off and I had crumbs and dust flying all over my kitchen counter. What an absolute mess. Do not buy this item, you will be wasting your money. I had a previous chopper that you would twist the lid to engage the blade. I really wish I would have held onto it rather than donating it to Goodwill. Now I have to go out and buy another one because this one’s going in the trash.

Bought this less than 1 year ago. The lid has a thin "lip" that engages a rocker in the body to allow you to depress the power button. This lip broke off with routine use and now cannot depress the power button. Disappointing quality, the lid is clearly too fragile for what it is expected to do.

We had an old Black and Decker chopper (must be over 25 years old because we got it from my mother who died in 1991) which died so we asked for a new one. When we first got this a year ago, my husband said it did not work. I checked and found that he had not gotten the lid on completely. It is really difficult to get the lid on completely. I broke my right wrist in June and my husband had to do all the chopping until I got use of my right hand back. Last week I was trying to get the lid on when it broke by the locking mechanism. I see that a lot of other people have complained of the same thing so I am not alone. As we have had it less than two years I see it should still be under warranty. Though, if the price were right, I would be willing to pay for the new lid. I just need help with getting this done.

I received this to try and it's great. It is small, so doesn't take up a lot of room. It works great, chops the food down to any size you want with just a few taps. I love that If I want to just chop a small onion I don't have to haul a big machine out. It cleans up so easy. It is perfect for me. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
