My family loves this little beast of a coffee maker! We can all use our different sized mugs, thermoses, etc for individual/customized fills/servings per person instead of making a whole pot! And when we do want to brew a whole pot (like when we have company), it comes with a nice glass carfe. The modular design opens up a lot of possibilities as well. So far very reliable and sturdy. I don't think you can beat this for the price. Highly recommended for folks who want a coffee maker that functions traditionally, but also gives your brewing options room to grow and experiment with. To my surprise the box was bigger than the actual coffee maker! I love its size and how it hardly takes up any space on the counter top or you could easily put it in storage with no issues. Yet it still makes 5 cups of coffee, hot water, u name it. Even if your a tea drinker only you could use this.
Simple to use with the on/off switch, it's not digital so your not messing with any high tech gadget anyone should be able to work this
The bottom base comes out so you can put a travel mug underneath which is a cool feature especially for anyone who's on the go and likes to take a hot beverage with.
It also comes with a reusable filter basket which is very nice, hoswever it works best with courser grounds so if you use the real fine stuff you'll see some of that in the bottom of your coffee cup. I'd just recommend a paper filter for extra filtering of fine grounds like espresso per say. The coffee pot is glass and so far seems to be very sturdy and well built it's a mini pot :)
Overall very nice compact 5 cup coffee maker, it's simple and yet gets the job done and you get a nice hot cup of coffee , water whatever you want to so with it as for me were big coffee drinkers so that's it's only use here, but like I said I'm sure a tea drinker might find it handy as well [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

What I like most about this coffeemaker is that it's compact and doesn't take up a lot of space. Because I have a small kitchen without a lot of counter space this is ideal for my needs. Also, since we don't have a ton of coffee drinkers in the house the small size isn't a problem for us. However, if you drink a ton of coffee this size may be too small for you. I also like how easy it is to change from carafe to travel mug or a standard mug. The carafe is the only item included in the box; you will need to provide your own travel mug. I got this a month ago and I love the pour over feature! It makes the perfect cup of coffee everytime! i prefer a full bodied flavor cup of coffee and this was perfect! I received this about 2 weeks ago, and haven't had the opportunity to use it until today. I didn't realize what I was missing. This machine makes 5 cups, fills a travel mug. I was hoping one was included, but it wasn't. It makes the 5 cups in about 5 to 10 minutes. It has a ready made filter in the coffee container/strainer basket. I love not having to buy filters. I like that the spout on the pot pours perfectly. I bought an expensive brand and it pours horribly. This one pours wonderfully. It is also perfect for a one person pot of coffee. It is perfect size for three to four cup of coffee with wide verity of brewing options, easy to clean and brewing time is ok. It does not have heating base but coffee poured in mug is enough hot if you are planning to enjoy it right after brewing. It is nicely designed and does not occupies to much of space. I got the Black +Decker 4- in - 1 coffee station to try and i really do love it!! It has 4 ways to brew your coffee and for me i am a travel mug kinda girl when its cold. But in the summer. I just do a cup. And the coffee station will do both!! I like the adjustable stand that it has. And it has its own coffee basket so you don't need filters. I love the easy drip free pour.. And my favorite i think is the pour over brew basket!! And i love that it is smaller than most coffee makers so it don't take up so much room on my counters!! This coffeemaker is excellent! I love making fresh brewed coffee but hate how large typical coffee makers are. I don't have a ton of counter space so this being on the smaller size was a bonus. I love that this can make different size cup of coffee. I can make a single cup or the entire pitcher. The absolute best feature on this coffeemaker is the removable and reusable coffee filter. This eliminates the need to purchase single use paper filters. This coffeemaker is perfect for taking camping or to use at the office. I am very excited to have this coffeemaker! This is a great compact coffee maker. It is a space saver if you don't have much room or just need a smaller pot. My favorite thing about it is that the bottom part is removable and you can fit a travel mug under it and fill it that way. The bottom section is also adjustable and you can move it up closer to the filter and use a normal coffee cup to fill up. It is so simple to operate and a use and care manual actually comes with it. I have bought things that does not come with instructions anymore. They provide a web address to look up instructions online. I prefer to have a hard copy of the manual and I was not disappointed with this product. Another plus for me is that it has a reusable coffee filter that comes with it. It is easy to see how much water you have in the reservoir. The design is very modern and it looks great on my kitchen counter.
