I fill the water level to 2 cups, put in 2 tablespoons of any coffee and turn on the machine...within 4 minutes, I have a good cup of coffee. Regular size filters DO fit in this machine. Incredible price for a good coffeemaker!

I specifically purchased this coffee maker as it had an auto shut off. Our Black & Decker one at home has it and is an awesome machine. The store advertised it as auto shut off - YES and even this website leaves you wondering as the description reads "coffee stays hot for one hour" - well what happens at the end of that hour? Nothing. The plate and everything stays on and hot. It is being returned. I found another brand to purchase.

I'm not quite sure why this coffee maker got bad reviews. Must be bad luck. I really like this coffee maker! I've had a couple of Keurig machines and found them to be an expensive and wasteful way of making coffee. This B&D machine is very simple to use and easy to clean. I need to use two K-cups to make the amount of coffee drink. It's much easier to make my servings with this coffee maker. Love the hot plate that keeps the coffee hot until I get to it. My wife and I love it.

I just wanted a coffeemaker that makes coffee in small amounts because I am the only one in my house that drinks coffee. This one suits me fine. There is no clock or timer etc. There is only one thing I don't like and that is that I think the coffee should be just a little bit hotter.

I already own a Black & Decker 12 Cup Coffee Maker, and, while this one lacks some of the features on the 12 Cup Coffee Maker, it meets my need for making oone or two cups in the morning. I also found it is much earier to clean the water resorvoir than the 12 Cup Maker.

We had 2 of these before this one and each time have been very happy with the product!
I burned up one and broke the carafe on the other but the coffeemaker never failed us!
Tried a different brand in between but took it back and ordered this!
Reliable and clean operation!

This is a greatest little coffee pot I have ever had. I am switching any appliance that needs to be replaced made by BLACK AND DECKER. A toaster is next.

I now have two of these items, one for each floor level in my townhouse. Just wish they sold the coffee pitcher itself for a reasonable price, because breaking one is why I had to buy a whole coffee maker. Makes excellent coffee.

We want to make 4 cups and can't see using a 12 cup pot. Looked for a black coffee maker, the white ones stain quickly. Don't want another clock to set, I unplug it when I'm done. I have been happy with many B&D products, they keep on working.
