I have always had a grind and brew coffee pot - I love to have fresh coffee and this grinds the beans and then brews the coffee. And I do love the color red. Its great!

great idea, poor development. i was very excited to have and use this. it has a blade grinder, inconsistent grind. the permanent filter allows "debris" to end up floating in your cup, even after cleaning everything after each use. and the filter is a pain to clean. it can not be replaced with a paper, as the blades are integrated into the filter. it also sends the remaining grounds down the drain that can not be tapped out into the garbage. it works ok, im just not a fan.

I bought this coffee maker 5 and half years ago and still working as the first time. My wife, as a good Colombian people, use it every single day and sometimes twice a day. I replaced the jar just one time. It is a wonderful machine and I recommend to everybody

I enjoy the options that this provides- ground coffee or whole beans- whatever I feel like.
Has not been difficult to clean either. This is a great inexpensive choice .

I had my mill and brew and used it twice and it started leaking down the back behind the pot and out of the bottom eventually. After further investigation I popped the lid off where it pumps into the beans and found that the gaskets going into the inlet tube were not sealing properly so now I just need the o rings to get it back up and running. Can you help me out black and decker?

I purchased less than a year ago for my husband, he loves coffee and never had a grinder model before. It work exceptional until about a month ago where now when he turns it on to grind and brew, water comes out from the bottom of the machine and the counter gets all wet. We maintain and clean the machine before ever brew. Also, the heating plate is rusted already and we keep it dry before putting the pot on the heating plate. This was not a cheap purchase.

I've had mine around a year and a half and I love the idea of grinding coffee and brewing it all at once, it saves a ton of time and mess plus you get great fresh coffee. It's starting to leak from a hole in the back where the carafe sits and drips about a cup of water onto the plate making a huge mess. I can't even figure out where the leak is exactly coming from without taking the entire thing apart which is bound to cause more issues. It's a great machine while working but not worth the price if it doesn't even last 2 years

Decided to take the plunge and purchase this coffee maker with all the expected coffee drinkers around the house for the holidays. Prior to that...I own/used the Black and Decker personal coffee maker for 3+ years and I should of learned my lesson from that, because...guess what? You can't buy a replacement mug for that either. And third party sellers have the replacements priced at more than the coffee maker itself.
BESIDES the hefty price tag...loved, loved, LOVED everything about this maker, the grinder feature, timer, speed, clean up, etc, and then unfortunately the carafe chipped and it has been a nightmare ever since.
Couldn't find a replacement carafe or anything remotely similar (priced within reason) anywhere. I ended up purchasing the closest carafe match I could find on the Black and Decker site (yup...spent more money on their products...AGAIN!) and it was just a waste. The coffee produced is now at best luke warm, spills and sputtering everywhere cause the new pot doesn't even line up with the plunger/downspout.
So disappointed in the Black and Decker brand. Totally avoiding them in the future.

Bought this after owning several Krup grind and brews that broke year after year. I was shocked to find something that not only brews but also grinds at this price point. Usually they are at least twice as expensive and more. This machine has worked just fine so far. The coffee is good, it seems to grind all the beans fairly thoroughly. I haven't had any build issues so far and it's been about a month. The grinding is loud but no louder than my Krups or a stand alone grinder.
I'm hoping this workmanlike little machine will last for a while, it comes with a 2 year warranty which is longer than any other, so that hopefully means they have faith in their product.

Had a Melitta Mill & Brew for 14 years and she finally broke (it was a sad day). So I decided to replace it with this Black & Decker CM 5000 B. I had it almost a year now and it brews a great cup of coffee. About 1 week ago it started leaking while brewing coffee. I thought I was over filling the reservoir (its not that). All I can figure now is it is leaking from the lid area where the steam comes from. I'm very disappointed in the quality of this product. I guess I will need to go back to Melitta again!
