I really liked some of the features this blender has. The pitcher was durable and very easy to pour with. The dual flip top lids were great! A little difficult to clean but worth the extra effort. I liked the blending options. It was great to have course to fine elections. I was a bit disappointed with the size of the blades and end results. I compared to the blending ability of out nutrition bullet and found the nutri bullet blended our morning smoothies better than the black and decker blender. I received this blender free to try in exchange for my honest review.I made smoothies and sauces with this blender.I had some trouble crushing ice with this blender. It takes some time, but it will crush ice if there is liquid present. It is better than other blenders in the same price range. It worked well, but I wouldn't say that it's great. I would not make this black and decker blender my first choice. The blades are not sharp and it takes to long for the items to mix and break down (puree). The blender was also very loud and makes loud sharp noises that can hurt someone ear. I felt if the blade was sharper it could break the items you are blending down better. I have been using the Black and Decker PowerCrush Multi-Function Blender and I love it!. The blender has its base and it comes with a glass jar. The Lid has two closed openings, one is the pour spout and the other one is the ingredient slot which I like because if I need to add something else into the jar I open the slot and easily add it in. I have been able to crush my ice to make icy drinks, blend ingredients to make taco sauce, made smoothies and shakes and even used the blender to make bread crumbs with dry cereal. It has 4 speeds and it comes with an easy clean button to make cleaning easy. The jar is 48 oz. which is 6 cups and the parts are dishwasher safe. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I received this product to review for free and I am very pleased with it over all. I have used several other well known and expensive brands of blender in the past for their ice crushing ability, and I find that the Black+Decker Power crush blender could easily be a toe to toe contender with any of those high end brands. It powers through a morning smoothie with easy and speed and it really is a SMOOTHie, nice and creamy! It has a glass jar not some cheap easily cracked plastic one, and the base while light is not made of cheap looking plastic either!
