I love this oven. I've had mine for over a year and recently the bottom elements have broken down, so only the top elements work. However, it is still cooking my foods wonderfully. I'm going to buy another one tomorrow though, just because I'd like to have use of both the top and bottom elements again. I even bake in this oven. It cooks, bakes and rotisseries incredibly. This oven rocks. I've included a photo of a beautiful chicken I did in the rotisserie. It came out juicy and tender. Hoping my next oven's elements last a bit longer but I use this oven several times a day, every day, so I feel I got great use out of it regardless.

Love my new modern appliance. I was eager to receive the Black and Decker 9-slice Rotisserie Convection Countertop Oven I selected through the Wal Mart spark review process, I received this free for my honest opinion and review. I've taken the time to use it a few times in order to write a complete review. Great for small spaces and energy efficiency, this stainless steel appliance packs great cooking options in one small convenient place. Large enough for 2 - small pizzas, 9 slices of toast or toasted sandwiches and perfect for baking dinner rolls to boneless spare ribs. I was able to fit a small chicken on the rotisserie and simply followed the instructions. Cooked in less time than the traditional oven and is more cost effective than buying a precooked bird. Once you learn the 4 knob controls, things are a breeze. They do include a quick reference guide for cooking which is great. I am so very pleased with this appliance. It is lightweight, not bulky, easily maneuvered and actually, would be perfect for camping with your RV, outdoor kitchen area, cabin and more. The value for the price exceeds my expectation. I would certainly recommend this Black and Decker appliance to anyone. I continue to find more reasons to use it and the easy clean up is great. I've lined my drip pans with a small piece for aluminum foil for easy clean up. There is a crumb catching tray at the bottom which I've done this as well. The smart design includes rounded back to accommodate pizza's to rotisserie chicken easy is not difficult to clean. Lastly, this convection oven heats up quickly without requiring a 10 minute warm up process. The tempered glass is thick and the handle is well made for easy operation. The knobs are wide as well and easy to clean. I am so happy Wal Mart offered this to review, I absolutely love my new Black and Decker 9-Slice Rotisserie Convection Countertop Oven and would recommend this to anyone who loves to cook. It is a little champion! Comes carefully packaged so feel free to order online. Ships very fast!

I received the black & Decker 9-Slice Rotisserie Convection Countertop Oven to give my honest opinion. I remember when I would go to the local supermarket, I would see the chicken flipping around in their convection oven and wishing somehow I had the opportunity to own my own. I can now say I have my own black & Decker 9-Slice Rotisserie Convection Countertop Oven. One of the things that I like about owning the black & Decker 9-Slice Rotisserie Convection Countertop Oven is eating healthy. Instead of frying my chicken which isn't healthy I get to have it prepared using the black & Decker 9-Slice Rotisserie Convection Countertop Oven. I still haven't used all the function yet, like making the other foods like steak, turkey etc. You may have to watch some videos to install the part to hook the chicken for rotisserie purposes. I wish there was a tutorial video on Walmart.com to make it easier for customers in the future. But other than that, I would definitely recommend the black & Decker 9-Slice Rotisserie Convection Countertop Oven to anyone out there that would like to eat healthy at an affordable price. Please keep in mind this is for indoors and not outdoors usage.

I've always wanted a counter top oven, and this has got to be the most complete version of one anywhere near this price point. As a single guy, an oven is one of those things you have that is rarely used, and when it is, it's to cook pizza or rolls or something simple. It is nice to have in case you ever need it, but very inefficient when cooking for one. This counter top oven is, in my case, a 100% complete replacement that is far more efficient. This oven has a 5 minute pre-heat cycle. Room temp to 450 in 5 minutes. My kitchen oven takes 11:30 to get to 450, 7:00 to get to 350. This oven runs off of an outlet, my kitchen oven is on 220. This oven, simply because of it's size, creates far less heat load on my house, and cools down much faster. For people who live in the South, that's a BIG deal. Like I said, this is FAR more efficient. I highly doubt I'll ever use the rotisserie function, but with an oven that does so much already AND it has a rotisserie option, why not have it? Also, because of that, you get the tool that installs and removes the rotisserie bar, which just so happens to also double as a rack slider. When you cook a pizza on an open rack, you can use the tool to slide the rack out and remove the pizza with anything handy. There is an included crumb tray for the bottom, but you can also use the bake pan underneath the installed tray as an additional crumb tray, so cleanup is a breeze. The only knock I have on it at all is that it's a bit confusing at first to figure out how to get it working. There is a quick start guide that tells you the steps, which is a lot nicer than having to read through all the instructions every time you want to cook something. Once you get the hang of it, it's no trouble at all. A nice looking product that is able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities and is easy to clean, while being more efficient and costing 1/10th the price of a full-size oven? No brainer here!

I've been hmmming and haawwiinng over a counter top oven for a long time. It just seemed like a real risk to spend the money and then to sacrifice the counter space. I read endless reviews, on endless machines. This is the one we landed on. I'll admit, I got it free as part of Walmart Spark review program and that helped make the decision, but it was already on the list for consideration. Size matters. I wanted a machine that would accommodate our ever changing needs. Sometimes it's just me. Sometime there are three of us and sometimes there are guests. This was the largest I could find in the price range, I'm not disappointed. While it says it's a 9 slice, I'm not sure how they get that guage. I can fit 6 regular, square bread slices in here for toast or broil. I can fit two standard sized frozen pizzas. I've put two 3-4lb chickens on the rotisserie. The size is sufficient. The heat in this is way more well distributed than I expected. With other ovens like this I've had to rotate items from front to back or left to right to even out the cooking temp. I do not have that issue here. The pizza rolls on the left cook as quickly as the ones on the right and same with front to back. The only drawbacks I've had with this machine are these: the paint which labels your knobs will wipe off it its hot. The knobs do require some serious attention to be payed to get used to. Instead of labeling the knobs with words they labelled them with icons. So, a picture of toast, a picture of cake, a picture of downward facing heat waves etc. It should have been easier than that. About my 3rd use and I got familiar and no longer needed the guide to use the settings. I then wiped the oven down and lost half of the icon on the middle setting knob for broiling. :( Other than that I really like the oven. It heats up evenly and quickly. It maintains good over all temp for baking. The broiler is hot! The rotisserie produces well browned, evenly cooked meat in a fair time frame. I'm happy product with great features. to have it on the counter and the price point is fantastic. Being in a warmer climate, it's very nice to not have to heat the house up to have something to eat. Good over all

The Black and Decker 9-Slice Rotisserie Convection Counter Top Oven is a very nice looking, and a well made toaster oven with lots of room. It's very sleek looking in it's stainless steel design which goes great with my kitchen. The buttons on the front are easily accessible, and easy to understand. I love the rotisserie feature! It makes a whole chicken beautifully brown, and moist. I seasoned it with salt, pepper, garlic to keep it simple and the taste was delicious. I also made a whole Salmon filet using the convection feature with olive oil, crushed garlic, butter and pesto wrapped in foil and my boys begged me to make it again soon. I am in love with the convection feature because I was able to make toast, and bagels to perfection as well. One of the best features for me was being able to make two 12” pizza's at one time. Having two teen boys, this is a true time saver. The boys got to choose / customize the toppings they wanted on their pizza's which is nice because a lot of times I have to wait to make each pizza or they have to settle on just one. Both pizzas were made in a snap. They came out of the convection oven nice and crusty on the bottom, and the toppings were perfect. I have not had to use my big oven since getting this one because this one does everything. Plus it doesn't heat up the whole house like my big one does. Oh, I almost forgot, I made one of the frozen pies in this oven, set the timer, convection setting and it was absolutely superb. I highly recommend this toaster oven.

We were really excited to get this Black & Decker Oven. We were sold on the rotisserie and convection aspect all by itself. Overall, the oven works well. It is large enough that you can put in a casserole dish or even a medium pizza or two. It heats up very quickly and uses less power than a full size oven. We've managed to use the rotisserie to make a chicken, baked a few dishes and experiments with toast. All of those dishes turned out perfectly. The drawbacks to the oven are that the controls are difficult to read (and difficult to master unless you have the manual handy), the rotisserie will only accept smaller items (they recomend a 3 lb chicken, but you could squeeze in a 4-5 pounder if you are creative), we could not figure out how to squeeze in nine slices of toast (maybe they use those small cocktail bread slices), and, lastly, the oven gets very hot while in use - you don't want little ones helping in the kitchen with this oven working. I've attached a couple pictures of the oven in use. The chicken on the rotisserie is only a 2.5 pound bird. You can see there is not much more room. Overall, for a second oven, this will do the trick quite nicely - as long as you have the room and don't expect to feed a large group of people. It would be perfect if you lived in one of those popular "tiny houses," or for the cabin, or even if you do luxury camping. This a great oven if you have the need. Under those conditions, I would strongly recommend the oven.

The Black & Decker 9-slice Rotisserie Convection Countertop Oven is perfect for the individual who likes an easy method of cooking supper or needs to free up their oven. The oven itself is fairly large. It takes up a lot of counter space, but is worth it if you have the room. It has very nice styling, is heavy and sturdy and does its job wonderfully. The stainless steel exterior holds fingerprints so it will need to be wiped down frequently like most stainless appliances. The glass door is nice because it provides a large view of your cooking foods and doesn't steam up. The back of the oven is slightly bowed to accommodate the roundness of a pizza. It fits two 12" pizzas perfectly with a little space around the edges to spare so that convection can occur. I was concerned that stacking two pizzas would make one cook faster and this does happen but it's easy to swap the pizza trays halfway through to get even cooking. If you don't push the pizza all the way back it works best. If the pizza is touching the back of the oven, that section cooks more intensely. The rotisserie part will hold an average sized chicken or similar (turkey breast, small roast, etc). I thought it would hold a much larger bird since the oven is so large, but it doesn't. Probably six pounds would be the largest I'd attempt in it. The controls weren't as intuitive as I'd hoped. There are a lot of symbols and you need to refer to the instructions to figure out what each does as there are no words near them. Once you've figured that out, it's pretty simple. The top knob sets the temp, the next knob sets the type of cooking (convection, bagels, broil, etc), the third knob down sets the time and the bottom knob sets the level of browning for the bagel setting. There is no LCD display, it's all manual. The timer works like an egg timer and ticks down the time. The ding is quite soft so if you're in another room keep your ears peeled. The good thing about it is that as soon as the timer goes off, the oven stops cooking. That's a nice feature. This oven would also work nicely for casseroles and other baked items and is roomy enough to fit a large casserole dish. I think the nicest feature is that I can cook in this while still using my oven! Cleanup is easy because of the drip pan. The two trays slide in and out easily and even have their own tool that helps you pull them out without getting burned. Don't put this device on or near the oven during cooking as the exterior gets very hot and will melt anything nearby. Keep it on a free part of your counter with at least a foot of clearance. I melted the pulling device by leaving it near the oven. The rotisserie bar slides out easily and cleans nice as well. This is a nicely designed oven and will definitely prove very useful for any type of user. I'd highly recommend it to anyone thinking about making this purchase!

received this item from the Walmart Spark Review Program for no compensation - just an honest review. Wow – what a nice looking piece of kitchen appliance! The shiny steel (possibly stainless steel) looks great in any kitchen and makes it a breeze to clean up! Black & Decker claim you can cook up to 2 – 12” pizzas at one with this Black & Decker 9-Slice Rotisserie Convection Countertop Oven – and – they aren't kidding. Due to an innovative concave back design – your typical Tony's/Red Baron/Digiorno style frozen pizzas easily will fit into this oven. Due to the small size – you won't waste all that time waiting for your regular kitchen range/oven to preheat for 15-20 minutes before beginning to cook! It comes with a removable rotisserie and 2 broil racks as well as a shallow bake pan (approx. 11”x12”). This rotisserie oven also has a removable crumb tray for easy cleaning. I'd say you'd be hard pressed to cook 9 pieces of toast all at once – but – when is the last time you've tried toasting 9 pieces at once anyways! The 3 prong plug is around 2' long and it seemed the perfect length for us. We haven't used rotisserie function but many other users have attested to great results with up to a 3.5lb bird! The most confusion and frustration comes with deciphering the control knobs on the front of the Black & Decker 9-Slice Rotisserie Convection Countertop Oven. Here's the breakdown: 4 knobs – from top down: 1st knob sets your temperature and indicates both C & F degrees, 2nd knob controls your oven function – the chicken picture means rotisserie –– the cake with fan means convection oven – the third spot with 3 diagonal lines w/a horizontal line is a broil oven function – the fourth is a toast picture for toasting – the fifth position is bagel for a longer toasting time, 3rd knob is your timer for all functions other than toast – allows up to 60 minutes of timed baking by rotating clockwise – if you use it for under 20 minutes – you must first rotate it past 20 minutes then back to your desired time like 5 minutes – if looking to cook for longer than 60 minutes without a timer function you rotate this know counter-clockwise and it will hold indefinitely – just make sure you set another timer somewhere else, 4th knob is a timer for toasting function only. I've cooked a Digiorno square garlic bread pizza in it – and it cooked in the stated package time. I've cooked Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls in it – at the stated package time. WE've also used it to cook salmon fillets, chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks. The huge time savings with this oven to me is the fact that we don't need to wait 20 minutes for our full sized oven to heat up then cook for the desired product time period – so realistically – we are cooking in about ½ the time most of the time! Great toaster/Rotisserie/Convection Countertop Oven if you have the countertop space to devote to it. WE're using it more and more every week and saving all that pre-heating time for our large range oven!

I wanted to get this review in early, as it is some of the busiest time of the year for shopping and GIFT BUYING. This Black and Decker 9-Slice Rotisserie Convection Countertop Oven is at at steal online at Wal Mart. First of all it is not heavy or bulky in any way. It is very attractive all stainless steel . It will fit in any kitchen, or can be used as in our home The Man Cave. I can see it as a perfect gift for a student in any dorm. I must confess we take one on trips, and use it in our room to save on meals bought out. Almost all places have small fridges available, if you ask..You can fit almost anything in the oven!! A much needed step up from other ovens. The glass in this oven is much thicker and better made from others we have owned and used. The handle is also very well made, not cheap at all, and there is plenty of room as to not burn your fingers on any part that may get hot. I also like the well highlighted control details printed on both the glass as well as the control knobs. It shows in detail a photo of a food item and a temperature to use, like a cake, or a pizza and it can hold 2 pizzas, as it has double racks. I'd feel very comfortable allowing a young teen full use of this oven. I would also say that these easy to understand instructions would be very helpful for people who may not deal well with English. The photos would be a great help. The drip pan that you use when using the rotisserie is a bit deeper from others we have use, I like that. Imagine using this feature for a chicken, a nice hunk of boneless pork, almost anything you can imagine you sure can try. It is much healthier to cook this way too. We are very excited to try it out with the holidays here. I saw only 2 other reviews, and I wanted mine on quickly. The control knobs work perfectly as did the timer. I recommend this as a great gift. Certainly a great price online now. We think it is a wonderful addition to The Man Cave. As with any new electrical item, please read all printed material that comes with this oven. The cord is not extra long and I think that is a plus for sure. It should be kept on a proper surface when in use. We are looking forward to a lot of quality food made in it, NOW order a few, it is the season!
