Needed to be more clear about size. Is not 3 American cups. Maybe 3 tiny doll sized cups.

This is a nice compact unit. It has become very discolored from limited use. After several ""washings"" in the dishwasher, it is completely cloudy.

Its a very small french press but I love that its unbreakable since i have small children always touching everything in the kitchen.

I like my morning coffee fresh and hot. The french press method works great. This is my second french press pot because I was careless and slightly cracked my larger pot. I was hoping for a larger pot, but this smaller 3-cup pot does work well, but I like a larger pot. This smaller pot is probably OK for a woman in a hurry. :-)Richard, the old guy. PS: My 1250 watt microwave takes 2.5 minutes to heat my water in a mug which i pour over 3 scoopes of dark roast coffee. I do love some hazelnut cream in my mug of coffee for a jump start. :-)

This arrived much more quickly than I had anticipated, but it was warmly welcomed. The French Press was exactly as depicted, tho I think that 3 cups is a bit over the actual size. I'd say it's closer to 2 than 3, but only 1 of us drinks coffee. Because this is a non breakable item, I was surprised at the amount of packaging. NO complaint! All in all, I am well pleased at my purchase. Thanks, Hayneedle

im new to coffee press .read the ad for press. said it was 3 cups. its not (11 oz) aside from that itseems to be ok.

I was thinking this was going to be a great buy. Its not worth the money. It has a screen where you pour the coffee out into the cup and it gums up with residue from the coffee. So you have to take it off and wash the lid and try again to pour your coffee. This doesn't happen once, If you make a big pot count on doing it more. Not worth buying.
