I got this in early December and loved it! I used it for all sorts of things, and I used all of the settings. (We have 4 kids, very busy, so we used it maybe 10 times in three weeks.) Then one day in the middle of cooking, it just died. No power. Nothing. Our blender was plugged into the same outlet and also died. So disappointed.

It looks amazing! It Cooks like a charm, whether it be vegetables getting steamed, or a whole chicken breast like I cooked today! It's amazing! It is quiet and I love the pressure release function which let's all the steam out so I won't burn my hands when I open the lid up. It is very secure with the lock which increases my trust with it, as well as I love being able to set it at a time and after that it'll just turn on stay warm mode! It's incredible! I have always been somewhat uneasy in using any type of pressure type cooker, but this Crock Pot Express Easy Release really put all that unease to rest after just the first use. I read the instruction booklet carefully, familiarizing myself with the cooker. The control panel touch screen is easy to read and user friendly with many cooking options to choose from. I mainly like having the choice of being able to use it as a slow cooker when time allows or as a pressure when I'm short on time and need to get my family of 5 fed quickly. I use this cooker at least twice a week typically making different meat items such as ribs, chicken or meatballs. To say every food has turned out perfectly would be untruthful as I have had a few epic failures. The locking lid seals very well and releases as its intended to. This pressure cooker it's a life saver for busy moms, it's easy to use, easy to clean cause it comes with a nonstick pot and it's dishwasher safe, you can make anything from hard boiled eggs to a lasagna it gets pressurize quick and it's very silent. It's pretty big which I love cause I have a big family so I make tons of food, and it comes with a very handy recipe book that even shows you how to make a cheesecake in it. I wanted to try out one of these ever since they were released but they were too small. I finally got my hands on the large version and it's great!! Works great for anything I've tried in it from any recipe I found online. I've done my old stand by recipes from slow cooker all day meals and also the online resources for these pressure cooker meals is huge!! Literally hundreds of recipes from people all over the place. Meal prep for a week is a dream in this and I don't need to run a crock pot slow cooker all day to get the same results. The ability to run this as a pressure cooker in about a third the time or slow cook something all day long is great!! I got the 10Qt Crock-Pot Express a few weeks back and have made several different meals with it. What I love most about it is how easy the non stick cooking pot is to clean. I made mac n cheese and was blown away how quick it was to clean. The pressure cooking features are similar to other pressure cookers on the market so operation is not complicated. The lid design is another feature I really like with the steam/pressure release knob separated from the valve. I have yet to use the slow cooker function at this time but have no doubt it will perform flawlessly. The 10qt capacity is perfect for my family of 5, it gives me the ability to make more than enough for the fam and accamodate any extra hungry dinner quests. Definitely an awesome and quality product. I got this recently because I have always been a big fan of Crock-Pots and the ease of using a slow cooker. This takes it to the next level. You get the ease and convenience of a slow cooker with the added bonus of a pressure cooker. I have used it several times so far making chili and it has turned out perfect every time. Using the pressure cooker makes it really quick and it tastes like it has been cooking all day long. The controls are easy to understand and it's super easy to clean up. Crockpot really out did themselves this time. This express cooks beautifully and half the time. I had my parents over for dinner and my husband of course forgot to take the meat out before we left for church. I was able to cook my meat that was half frozen in under 1 hour and it was fork tender I actually couldn't believe it. I am so impressed with this instant pot. It's like a basic crockpot times a million. You can have anything done in less than half the time and you dont have to sacrifice flavor or texture. This is great during the weeknights when were pressed for time, and I also love it to make big portions for pot lucks and get togethers.
