After cooking a beef dish, waited at least 15 minutes to open lid. Waited more, then tried hard to open it. Finally had to maneuver it to open.

This is the best small appliance I have ever purchased. A friend recommended the Crockpot brand due to the non-stick surface of the cooking pot. Reviews I read on the instant pot brand all indicated the often difficulty in cleaning the cook pot. I am thrilled with this and use it regularly and clean up is a breeze. The best brand to get by far. I bought this one for my son so he could enjoy the same benefits I have!

love it, can cook chicken in less than 15 minutes, a chuck roast in less than 30 minutes to make beef stew which normally takes 3 hours.
