We purchased a drinkworks machine for Christmas within six months the machine was broken stuck in chilling mode I’ve seen a lot of reviews with the same issue hoping when I receive my replacement unit under warranty this doesn’t happen again after the warranty has ended hoping drink works does the right thing and recognizes this is an ongoing problem with her machine.

My sister bought me a Drinkworks for my birthday last year, and it stopped working a fews weeks after the warranty. This really sucks for a machine this expensive it breaks, I suspect it is the chilling mechanism because the dashboard always say chilling, and this machine will not let make a drink if the temperature of the water is not where they want it to be, stupid. You should be able to make a drink regardless just put ice in a glass. So I'm stuck with a $300 paper weight, and $40 worth of pods.

This was a cool idea but the maintenance and user cost made me return and opt to learn how to make my favorite cocktail at home for significantly less.

WAY overpriced! Pods have very little liquor and taste terrible. Takes two pods to make a typical drink by volume. Drinks don’t come out cold even if you add ice to the machine. Very disappointed and returned my machine.

This Drinkworks machine is pretty awesome and better with the $50.00 discount that came with it. I will say that after 2 days the Co2 stopped working right , but contacted Drinkworks and they were very good at getting me a new machine pretty fast.. No hassles and supplied everything to return the broken machine. Cheers

The machine works great. Love the idea.. customer service is really bad. Applied for the $50.00 rebate if you spend 160.00. I spent over 600.00 rebate was rejected because they only allowed 4 pic of the receipt and wanted all of it. Because of drinkworks customer service, wish I never purchased the machine

The machine takes forever to make a drink so not ideal if hosting and serving drinks!! I wanted to return this but guess what their return policy is? CAN NOT RETURN!!! A $300 machine and zero return policy???? Terrible customer service!!!!

The person that I gave this to as a present gave it back to me today with hopes I could return it. She was unable to buy drink pods, and the few she did find tasted horrible and were of a poor quality. Also be aware AMAZON will not accept these as a return.

I had this in my cart for awhile due to price. Ended up treating my self and purchasing - SO glad I did! It's easy to use (watched YT vid to use and clean). The drinks are actually good. My only complaint is that I go through the CO2 cartridges pretty quickly so stock up on those. This lil machine is a huge hit during get togethers!

I got this and honestly it makes less that a glass of margarita, you would need 3-4 pods to make a full glass to serve someone and at 30$ per box for 4 pods that's a $30 margarita.. it took me forever to get a response from company to be able to return it.. but i did finally return it today... but honestly if you want a $30 margarita got to a great mexican spot at least then they will give you patron in it and not generic tequila

The Drinkworks home bar is amazing! My only complaint is that you only get 4 drink pods in a pack for $17-$20, but it’s worth every penny. Once the machine is set up you can have a professionally mixed drink in under 45 seconds. The machine is easy to set up and even easier to use. So far I’ve tried 5 of the drinks they offer and every one has exceeded my expectations.

The drinks are STRONG... definitely no skimping on the alcohol.

I was pretty excited about the Drinkworks Home Bar when I first heard of it. I quickly ordered one, and picked up over 40 pods to try out. I enjoy good drinks, and I wanted something that could make that experience a little easier and fun. Overall the machine does work, but the quality of the job is piss poor. 1. It can make like 2-3 drinks before it needs to chill the water again for 15 minutes. If you're expecting this to work like a bartender at a party, you're mistaken. It is slow to get you drinks. 2. Price per drink pod is fairly steep for what you might have hoped when cutting out the middle man. 3. The pods don't taste right, and might have unexpected ingredients. I can't put my finger on what it is in the mixture, but if you look close at your drink, it's almost like some sort of oil or residue sits at the top. It's clearly less dense than the rest of the drink, and it just makes you wonder what's in it. I don't to hear "mix it well" because whatever it was, isn't normal to be in a mixed drink. 4. The liquor is sub-par and bad. This is the biggest complaint I have with this thing. I bought quite the variety of pods to try and they are filled with the most cheap liquor imaginable. I get the pods aren't super expensive, but the quality is wholly unacceptable. You'll get better whiskey from Jack Daniels, you'll better vodka buying a bottle of SKY. There are a few quality liquor options they sell as pods, but for the price increase, you're better off just buying the bottle instead of 4-6 shots of it for the same price. The worst part has to be the head crushing, telltale sign of bad liquor you get from drinking these pods. This is a shitty buzz/drunk that gives you a horrible hangover, best compared to boxed wine. I honestly can't even enjoy the buzz because of how awful it feels. I am super disappointed with this machine entirely and its quality of drinks. I really wanted to like the Drinkworks home bar but after only 2 days of using it I am ready to get rid of it. No return policy though so I'm pretty much screwed there. I don't know who this machine is for with such a poor quality of drinks it makes. It's expensive, so you'd think they'd at least try to cater to those who are willing to spend extra for a quality product. You're better off mixing the drinks yourself even if you are horrible at it. Seriously if you just kind of pour both bottles of whatever you want into a cup at the same time, you'll get a better drink out of it then what this thing makes.

I was super excited for this, but now feel like canned cocktails would have been just as good. This is pretty much a drink dispenser, not really a drink maker. It takes the pre-made drink/cocktail mix, mixes it with water and dispenses into your glass. If the drinks were somewhat customizable, I think it would have been worth it. Each drink costs about 4-5 u.s dollars, which is a bit high for the amount per drink, you have no clue what brand/quality of liquor you're getting, and it isn't customizable. It also takes 30 minutes for it to chill the water each time you turn it on.

Horrible- bought this as a gift and all it did was produce water- tried 10 pods and it would puncture the pod but not dispense the drink. Never been so embarrassed. Don’t buy

I really appreciate this pod approach to cocktails. While mixing your own allows for more tweaking the drink to your personal preferences, keeping dozens of bottles on hand is a pain because you're _always_ missing that one spirit you need for the cocktail you're craving. Some here have complained about the price of the pods, but seriously, compare their cost to what good bartenders charge for the same drinks and you'll see why it's a good deal. They have a wide variety of drinks that they continue to add to. You can still add your own preferences, such as lemon slices, olives, dollops of fruit concentrate, etc. If you enjoy cocktails, especially with friends, this is a good item to purchase,

Okay! This home bar is the bomb!!! Package nicely and came earlier than expected. Instrucrions were simple..I ordered the pods from Drinkworks and let's just say I loved it so much I ordered another one to give as a gift!! Love love my home bar

I made a drink menu for all the different drinks and I dedicated a shelf for the alcohol used only in these drinks. That way I can add half or a full shot to the drinks. I also cut and froze all the garnishments and I keep them in the freezer! The drinks taste great. Too expensive for a big party but perfect for company!

Purchased item and within a week product is on sale at a lower price. Was told they won’t price match it.

Completely disappointed in the Drink Works machine. Made ONE drink, updated the firmware and it quit working. For the price, I expected much more. Save yourself the disappointment and stay away. The advertisement and hype are better than the machine at this point

This is an over the top, incredible machine. Im in love. Drinkworks is an amazing machine. I'm on my first week of ownership and I have made several drinks (well maybe a few more but mum's the word) . Every drink is wonderful.

I like the product. It's a little difficult to get the pods right now but the seller and the product is great.

The drinks taste good. The value of the actual drink pods is questionable. The machine takes a whole hour to cool and then the drinks aren't cool anyway so you have to use ice. Also if you need two drinks in a row, it has to cool again for about 1/2 hr. The Keurig company outsources all the distribution and there is basically no customer support. I would not buy this again. Better to get some mix and a bottle at your local liquor store.

I’d like to give this a higher rating because who doesn’t like a good bar drink with the concept of minimal or no effort. This machine gives you some of the benefits of a bar drink but with limited execution. It’s all about timing with this drink maker they tell you you should keep it plugged in if you wish to make drinks quickly but if not without ice in the water dispenser it took 55 minutes to cool the water for a drink and with ice 20 minutes. This is ridiculous considering the price of it and that going to a bar would be much quicker even busy. Considering this is a keurig product you’d expect better, consider your coffee taking 55 minutes to heat up before dispensing which would be inconvenient before heading to work. Keurig would lose credibility and sales if that was the case so they dropped the ball on this drink maker. Drinks taste ok but are definitely not fresh which can be a turn off but for now they do the job which is provide alcohol. The drink maker was a gift and an expensive one so it was disappointing to see my wife get so excited but upset that it didn’t work as well as she hoped.

When I was looking into buying this I had sooo many questions. I want to attempt to give you as much detail as possible so you know what you're getting yourself into here. I am going to go over each aspect of this drink maker. Buckle up! Oh, one more thing...I would like to point out that I am writing this review after 3 months of use. First Impressions (Unboxing & Packaging / Quality): It comes very well packaged so that nothing comes broken or damaged. The drink maker seems very well made and sturdy. It's made of plastic but it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy in any way. It looks nice on the counter and looks very high end however it is a little larger than I imagined it would be. Luckily for me, I have plenty of counter space in my kitchen but it is definitely something to keep in mind. Set-Up: The set up is really easy as long as you can follow instructions. It comes with step by step paper instructions but the little LCD screen on the front will also take you through step by step prompts. One thing to keep in mind is that the setup process from start to finish will take you about 30 - 40 minutes, so make sure you have some time set aside. The setup process consists of 4 main steps each taking about 5 to 10 mins a piece. (Rinsing/Cleaning components, installing the CO2 cartridge, running an internal machine rinse and chilling of the water) Using the machine: Once the step up is complete and the water has chilled, you are ready to make your first drink! The use of the drink maker is extremely simple. You literally insert a drink pod into the machine, press the flashing start button and you are good to go. If you've ever used a Keurig than you'll already be a pro! If you put your drink pod in the maker and you get a flashing red start button than most likely you have put your drink pod in the wrong way. Each drink pod has a bar code on the back that has to line up with the scanner inside the drink maker. This bar code tells the drink maker what type of drink it is. This is important because that bar code tells the machine how big to make the drink, how cold to make it, and whether the drink needs carbonation or not. Make sure the bar code is facing away from you when you put it in. One thing I should mention is that there is an app you can download and syncs up with your maker via Bluetooth however the app honestly seems kinda pointless. It will give you stats on the machine, like when it had it's last cleaning and the temperature of the water. The only useful thing about it is that it will update your Drinkmaker to the latest framework which is probably necessary. The Pods: Now, this is where I had the MOST questions so I am going to break this down into little subcategories. General Info: Yes, the pods contain actual alcohol. These are not just mixers, literally, everything you need is inside the pod. One big thing I have seen in reviews on this product is that people are upset that the machine doesn't come with any pods. The thing is, due to liquor laws they are not able to include alcohol with the drink maker as underage children may be able to purchase this product. Plus it would prevent the company from being able to sell this product in retailers such as Walmart, Target, and even here on Amazon. Where to buy? Most likely pods can be purchased at your local chain liquor store. I say chain because this is a fairly new product and I don't see these pods as something your local "mom and pop" liquor store will have yet. I definitely haven't seen them in any of mine and I live in a major metropolitan city. The Drinkworks official website just launched a pod locater so you can see which stores locally carry them. (I wish this was something they had when I purchased mine as I had to do my own research with trial and error, driving to different stores, calling etc.) Depending on where you live and the local liquor laws, you also may be able to purchase these online and have them delivered to your home, again, the website will tell you that. How much are they? It depends, but 90% of them will cost you $15.99 for a 4 Pack of pods. Seems high right? I would tend to agree but here are a few things to keep in mind. The brake down factors to about $4.00 per drink which is WAY cheaper than you would get it at a bar. The other thing to keep in mind is the extreme convenience this has for liquor storage and inventory. For example, I love Long Island Ice Teas, however, I never make them at home because I don't have vodka, white rum, silver tequila, gin, triple sec, simple syrup, lemon juice and coke. The point here is that you are really paying for convenience here and it's nice that you can have a get-together and everyone can drink what they want without having to have 12 bottles of different liquors and 6 mixers. What drinks do they have? This is hard to answer this because they are constantly adding new drinks. But as of the time I am writing this review, they have about 40 drinks including most of the classics like Whiskey Sour, Cosmopolitan, Moskow Mule, Old Fashioned, Mojito, Margarita, Gin & Tonic...the list could go on. One thing I love is that they come out with specialty and seasonal drinks which I always end up loving. Right now we are at the start of summer and they came out with a summer collection of drinks that has a Blackberry Mojito, Aloha Margarita, Basil Tom Collins and a Strawberry Vodka Lemonade. Sooo good! I like that they are always adding things and coming up with new fun specialty drinks! The other thing I would STRONGLY recommend is getting their sampler pack that includes their top 16 drinks. You can visit the official Drinkworks website for the most up to date list of drinks. Do they actually taste good? Are they strong? This is probably the MAIN question. Here's the thing, I think the drinks are pretty good. Some I have liked way better than others, some I really liked, some I didn't like at all. Now, is it the best mojito I've ever had, No. Is it the best Long Island I have ever had, No! But it's coming out of a pod for crying out loud! I see people on here complaining about the drinks but at the end of the day, you have to set your expectations realistically. I think for a mixed alcoholic drink coming out of a pod they are pretty darn good. I mean you saw me list all the ingredients for a Long Island and I was extremely impressed they were able to fit all of the taste of a long island in these pods. If you are a drink snob then I differently don't think this would be the product for you. The strength of the drinks depends on the drink you're making and they have a bozzieness scale on the front of each drink. Have I ever gotten a buzz of these? Absolutely! (and I am not a lightweight by any means, lol) Maintenance: The machine does require some maintenance every now and then but it will let you know when it needs a cleaning or when the Co2 cartridge is low. The cleaning process does require special cleaning tablets made by the company but your machine comes with enough tablets for you to do two cleaning cycles. It also comes with an extra Co2 cartridge as well. These supplies can also be purchased at the liquor store where you buy your pods or on the Drinkworks website. Customer Service: This may be something odd to mention but I feel like in this case, it is necessary. The Drinkworks company labels itself as having "Top Shelf" customer service and they are not kidding. Every time I have chatted with someone from their customer service team they are always above and beyond nice. On one of my chats, I happened to ask her what her favorite pod was and she told me and then after the chat had ended she actually followed up with me a few hours later and told me she had asked around the office for some other peoples favorites and gave me a list and then reached out a few days later to make sure I didn't have any other questions! They are really great and super helpful! Recycling: (Added) The drinkmaker also comes with a prepaid mailer where you can mail off the pods to be recycled which is pretty cool. If you ever need more bags you can contact the customer service team and they will mail you more, free of charge. OVERALL: I think the Drinkmaker is great and I would differently recommend it! lol

Best purchase I ever made! If I can't go to the bar I'll bring the bar to me! The huge variety of cocktails and the ease in making them can't be beat! In my opinion it will pay for itself in no time. I bought my on sale for 199.00 at Schunk's grocery store for what it does I would have paid full price for the convience!

Makes for a great gift. Bought it for my girlfriend and she loves it. Some of the drinks are fantastic. I'm a fan of the whiskey sour, cuban daiquiri, and long Islands. There are some others that aren't as great. While she loves the product, we hate that we can't find these pods in any of our local stores. You can buy the lods directly from the manufacturer website but it would be much more convenient to be able to pick them up locally instead of trying to plan for order delivery.

This machine took forever to setup and when i finally got it all set-up, it didn't make the drinks at all! It seems the "Squeezing" mechanism to squeeze the juice and drink out of the pods wasn't working. Not worth the hassle (this machine is supposed to make life easy!), so I'm returning it. Be careful not to purchase too many pods when you order! If it doesn't work, and you want to return your machine, they won't refund you for the pods! I wasted over $100 on pods for a machine that is broken and doesn't work...

CO2 only lasts for 2 or 3 drinks then you need to replace cartrige, makes price per drink very expensive.

I bought a drinkworks that was defective because it was overflowing and sometime didn't work at all. I ask for a full refund and i was giving me the runaround for a whole week. They ask can they troubleshoot and i said no because i didn't want them to troubleshoot a defective item.

Love this machine! Easy to use and drinks taste great. Way better than i could ever make myself... Great if you want a nice cocktail without the mess. Glad i bought this and would recommend for others. Great for parties too just make sure people bring pods cause they can add up on price.

I'm just an average consumer and no beer or drink snob, so here is my review. I purchased the Drink Works machine for my wife for Mother's Day. She had mention having a nicely stocked bar at home and I thought this would be a fun and futuristic way to do it. Here are the pro's and cons: Pros: This thing looks super cool, and is easy to use after it is setup. The drinks have a perfectly mixed taste to them. My biggest fear when buying this machine was the drinks would have a chemical taste to them, not true at all. Cons: So set-up was not easy. The CO2 attachment had an issue reading the tanks and we kept getting error messages. In fact, we had to call and get a replacement machine sent. Kind of disappointing considering it was a gift for my wife. I will give some props here to the company, they were quick to respond and sent us a replacement machine within a week. When the replacement machine arrived that one had an issue and we kept getting a red light. We had to call the company again and get troubleshooting tips from the help line. So now that the machine is set-up, we can drink. To be honest, the drinks are small. They taste great, but they are small. We got the variety pack to try a few different types out. For example, the cosmopolitan did not even fill our 12oz glasses a 1/4 of the way. That's with ice. When you consider a pack of 4 pods goes for around $15.00 its $3.75 a drink. So less than what you would pay at a bar, but when you consider the amount you get per drink it's actually pretty on par. The Whiskey and Cola pod barely filled my 12oz glass halfway, that includes with some ice. Another thing to consider is if it is a drink that requires carbonation (whiskey cola, spritzers etc) you have to make sure you fill the water tank with ice and water to get it to a certain temp. This can take about 18minutes to do so. Pretty long wait for a simple drink (whiskey in cola). So, in summary the product is a solid C- , small drinks that really aren't cost prohibitive to getting the ingredients on our your own and mixing. The pros are you are able to have lots of flavors of tasty drinks in what looks like a machine from the future. We purchased the machine during the sale otherwise I honestly be dissapointed in our purchase.

We often have friends over and it can be so difficult catering to everyone's alcohol preferences: beer, wine, tequila, vodka, gin etc. etc. PLUS then having to keep mixers that are taking up space in the fridge or getting every shelf sticky. Now we can either keep a stock of pods OR our friends can bring their own pods over! Not to mention the drinks themselves are SPOT ON. I was worried that would taste odd as I am not a fan of Keurig coffee but I have liked literally every flavor but 2 and they were drinks I just don't like in general. I cannot recommend this enough!!!

Overall i like the machine. before purchasing be sure to do some research on where you can purchase the Drink PODs i had a lot of wasted time trying to locate them after the purchase and it was a bit stressful. Also beware the company sends some people a comment card worth $40 but not all customers are entitled to that which kind of sucks. Also i believe my machine was preused as it was missing some of the plastic coverings and it has dust marks on it

I've tried 4 of the drinks so far (margarita, cosmo, mai Tai and peach sangria). theyre all pretty good, but definitely taste watered down. the mai tai and peach sangria were my favorites. the cosmo was SO strong and very bitter. the machine takes 30 mins to chill the water so I leave mine on all the time, that way I don't have to wait 30 minutes before I want to get a drink. I think this would be perfect if you're having a party. but just personal use, it's not really that worth it to me.

I was really enjoying the machine, and even had some friends interested after they saw it in action. But about three weeks ago, I started noticing the drinks seemed to be much stronger, and it seems like less overall liquid was coming out. The liquid was eventually so low, it looked like about a shot was produced vs a full glass from before. I placed the machine in my sink to run it again, and turns out, the bottom of the device was leaking during the process, and it was positioned in such a way that I didn't notice the water leak on the counter. Instead, the water was running back behind the counter, and now I have water damage behind the counter, and down the side. Amazon would not accept a return, so I reached out to Keurig/Drinkworks at the only Support email they have listed. After two emails that have not gotten a response. I'm going to try to call the 1-800 number and see if support is any better, but as you can imagine, I'm really pissed off at the overall experience.

Got this for my parents. They enjoy cocktails out, but don't really bother to make drinks at home. This was a great and interesting gift. We tried different drink pods and many of the drinks were pretty tasty. Some were better than others. While this doesn't replace your best bartender or cocktail Mixologist - It's a great device for parties. You can make several drinks easily with NO MESS. So, if your serving people you can tend to them much faster and do other things. It also makes a good conversation piece as people are always curious about it! Also, they keep coming out with new drink pods for it. So, there's lots to try!

Great product for entertaining guest. It's my bartender so that I don't have to spend time mixing drinks. Ten seconds for a Long Island Ice Tee... beat that the manual way!

Do not waste your time on this product, worse product ever. does not work and if you have any problem with it, you cannot get in touch with the seller. never responds and I cannot even get my money back. I think this is a racket. stay away from this seller and product. #NoCustomerService

I was excited to get the machine. I don't add ice to my first drink but it is worth it. I'm glad I have it b I don't know how to make different drinks.

this item was purchased as a gift for my adult daughters. They love it and really enjoyed making drinks with it. The drinks taste great and are just as easy to prepare as the coffee is. This machine is a little more involved than the coffee maker is but it is well worth the effort. Be prepared to want to try all the different drinks the first day you setup the machine.

I bought 5 Drinkworks for Christmas gifts. 3 were returned to me because they felt the drink pods were too expensive. My son said that he can make 10 drinks at his home bar for what one Drinkmaker Pod costs. I kept mine because I had already opened it but it will most likely sit on my bar as a decoration. I also didn't like the whiskey that was in one of the pods. If I make the drink myself, I can use the whiskey I like better. I also bought the wrong pods because the correct pods were not listed with the units so I had to go to the trouble of returning the wrong pods and had a hard time finding out where to buy the right ones. Overall, I'm very sorry I spent the large amount of money I di to buy these impractical units. I'm a fan of the Coffee makers but not the Drinkmakers.

I like the concept but there is virtually nowhere within 60 miles of my home or office that carries the pods, so the only place I can purchase them from is drinkworks and although they are supposedly good for at least 6 months, the pods i received ranged in BB dates from 60 days to 4 months! Which is one problem with ordering something like this online. Also, I've had it less than 30 days (and used 15 pods) and it's already giving me messages to run a clean cycle (according to the manual this is an every 60 day process) and it froze in the middle of the cycle and the message appeared again immediately after completing the cleaning cycle. Also, the pods are extremely small - so it costs $5 for a small drink - same as most bars - but I don't know the brand of alcohol that is being used. I purchased mine with mostly gift cards but if I had to pay full price, definitely not worth the money.

Got this as a Christmas gift to myself and don't regret it for one second. It is fun and easy, including a super simple set up. There are a ton of pod flavors to choose from as well. The only draw back for me is that although I think the machine is worth the price, the value for the pods is not there. They are pricey ($16 for a tube of 4, or $4 apiece) and each pod generally only dispenses about 4 oz of product. I find myself using 2 pods to fill a tall glass, or using 1 pod and then topping off the drink with filler, such as club soda.

Difficult access to the "drink pods"

Got one it didn't work. They sent a second one it did not work either, so am out $50.00 for pods for machine that didn"t work. The worst part it was a Christmas gift for my daughter and son in law.

The machine works just as nicely as shown on the video. My only one problem with it is the size of the drinks. The taste of each drink is like getting one at your favorite bar, so far. I have tried a Moscow mule, Long Island Ice tea, Margarita and sangria. The other thing that I was bit upset about was that it said on the description the drinkworks comes with a sampler pack of pods. Non were included. Best bang for the buck so far.

I'll start by saying I actually do not own the DrinkWorks, but instead purchased it as a gift for my sister. I have used it though, and sampled many cocktails made in it! The good: - Drinks are delicious. - The device works as simply as described and shown in videos. - The equipment is solid and works quickly. - Cocktails are not just for weekends anymore! The less good: - At least so far the pods are tough to get a hold of. To the best of my knowledge you can only order them from Keurig, which means it takes several days to get them. Additionally you have to sign for them on package arrival (meaning someone must be home). I hope this changes soon and you can buy the pods locally or there will be a quicker way to have them delivered. - I'm not sure yet how much of an issue this will be, but my sister used her DrinkWorks for only several days before the 1st CO2 cartridge started to run low. Hopefully this isn't a huge inconvenience as you obviously will have to replenish the DrinkWorks with water, filters, cartridges, and pods. That's all. I think this thing is awesome though. I will probably be purchasing myself one in the near future because having one or two cocktails at night would be amazing with DrinkWorks. I suggest you give it a try.

Can't use premium spirits because its pre packaged. No idea what brand of liquor is in the pod. Drinks are expensive (about $4 per drink) It adds up. Maybe if someone comes out with a pod that can be re-filled like the coffee pods, it would be worth the money.

This was purchased for a gift for a family member. The machine makes the perfect drink but to purchase the pods is not easy. The pods need to be ordered on line and the person needs to be home to receive due to the receiver needs to be 21. They did deliver to the Wine and Spirit store so I could pick them up there. It will be great if they will have the pods available at the store.

I've only had the drinkworks home bar for less than a month. As of now the drinks that I have had (margarita, old fashioned, long island) are of good quality and flavor. However, the peach sangria is a little bitter. Over all it works as promised.

I love the ease of use and the amazing drinks it makes! The cocktails are perfect. The best part is you don’t have to clutter your area with so many bottles.

I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. We have enjoyed this product since the moment we started using. It is easy to use and the drinks are wonderful. I have not had one yet I did not like.

I enjoyed the ease of use...be aware, it takes longer to be "ready" than the coffee machine...about 20-25 min so factor that into your plans... I've found that a little more kick is my preference so I put a shot in of the main alcohol to start prior to activating the system to make a beverage...solved that issue easy. One that's a waste is the soda and vodka, easier to just hand make that instead of getting the pre-made...but the more complex cocktails are great and taste quite good...very surprised.

I absolutely love this machine! The only downside is that you can’t buy the pods in the liquor store right now, only online.

Returned because capsules were hard to obtain!!!! Also, the company charges a lot of money for shipping capsules. Was not happy with this purchased so we returned it

Has so many features but simply expensive pods that are just not worth it. Drunks half full glasses. So many better automatic bartenders out there actually worth it for the price. This is an investment for a decade to come and probably not worth investing in yet

Easy to use but a little frustrating to order pods

Don’t be disappointed that the machine isn’t shipped with pods. Just go to a local Wine and More to select what you like before the machine arrives. Read the setup instructions and be patient. It’s not that hard. One of my favorites is the Whiskey Cola. Enjoy.

I am revising this review because the seller is issuing an RMA for the item. It doesn't get 5 stars because the product didn't work correctly, but I increased the stars because the seller is making it right. I have read good reviews so I realize that every once in a while, things can go wrong and this time, I drew the short straw. Ah well. Once the replacement arrives, I am sure things will be golden.

In my life I’ve seen some really great inventions loosed upon the world- the microwave, the VCR and those little blue pills to name a few. Now, the drinkworks machine will get added to that list. What a marvelous little contraption it is. I knew when I saw it for the first time the wife and I would be gifting ourselves this Christmas. We simply had to have it. We’ve had several keurig morning coffee slap machines over the years and so we were excited by the drinkworks immense weekend potential. The first time we used it we depleted a tube of mojitos and a tube of mai-tais. I’ve since ordered a whole variety of drinks. When I was reading reviews of the machine, one person commented “have we become so lazy we can’t make our own drinks?”... This misses the point entirely. How many people have the space and the capital needed to have a well stocked booze library? I know we don’t. Who wants a hundred booze bottles all over their house unless you’re one of those compulsive collectible weirdos that has mountains of record albums? (lol) How many people understand the esoteric science of boozy mixology AND can maintain that mixxy expertise after tying a couple on? Again, not many. At least no one I know. There have been cases where people have mistaken the sink for the toilet. Do you really want someone like that fondling your ice cubes? I remember reading in the instruction book the drinkworks has a special light that degermifies the water. So there you have it, plug it in, turn it on, give it a few to cool down and you’ll be good to go. Once the machine is on, it’ll always be at the ready. Yes, what we have here is a miracle of modern machinery. The ONLY drawback to owning a drinkworks is the availability of the pods. In New York State where I live there is only one store located on 42nd street in Manhattan that physically sells the pods which means for everyone else, it’s mail order. Only problem with that, is you have to sign for it which means you have to be home when the delivery dude comes. If you spent the night before with your drinkworks machine you may not be going out the next day anyway, so... Enjoy your new bartender robot. It won’t be long till it talks grows limbs and turns into the terminator... cheers, I’ll be back!...

I only took a star off because I had a friend ship it to me in Virginia but I cannot buy any pods for it here yet.. it’s been a struggle to have my friends in other states sending them but that’s how I’m getting the pods for the machine. All in all, love this machine!

I had been eyeing this up for a while but didn’t want to spring close to $400 and neither should you. It not worth that much but when the price was 50% off around Black Friday, I jumped at the chance and used some rewards points as well from the Amazon store card to make my purchase. I waited and waited for the package to arrive, having already ordered my drink pods direct from Keurig. FedEx lost my package however and when I saw there was no movement on it after shipping, I was told by Fedex to just ask the seller for a refund. I got a prompt refund and low and behold, the next day, the package showed up. I’m an honest person, so I alerted the seller and was told that I didn’t have to pay again. Merry Christmas to me! So, excellent customer service and a free machine. Now, the machine... very easy to set up, an app you can download to your phone to keep up with maintenance and get alerts if needed, and an overall great sorta purchase. I tried the Cosmopolitan and thought it actually was a bit too strong, so there’s no skimping on booze. The Long Island iced tea is the same, though small in portion compared to what you’d get in a bar. The Moscow Mules are the best I’ve ever had. If you’d like a little less alcohol taste, the strawberry margarita is good. I like to drink it straight up, so it’s a perfectly chilled cocktail after a long day without any fuss. The white sangria is good too. Light and refreshing. As a former bartender, I under no circumstances need this, but it’s actually fun to make drinks! Just throw a pod in and press the button. The downside, however, is that the pods are pricey I think. $16 for a tube of 4 drink pods. With shipping and taxes totaling another $15, prices will add up. But I look at is as this- where would you be able to go where you can get a drink for $4 nowadays without having to deal with crowds, get a ride, a sitter for the kids that are causing you to drink (I kid, I kid) , and other things that going out now as an adult entails? Plus, I’m lazy. I’d rather just make a cocktail in my home, not gave to worry about anything and have a variety of drinks to choose from. There are a few drinks I think you can stay away from like the lemon bubbly, gin and tonic and other two ingredient drinks, but it’s worth it to get pods for the more intricate drinks. It’s a great conversation piece too if you like to entertain. Me? I just like gadgets and am glad I came across this. You won’t regret your purchase. Do it!

Very easy to use very hard to find the pods

I received my first machine December 24th in time for a family gathering. Unfortunately the machine did not dispense water. After hours trying to get customer service at Drinkworks to call I was able to reach them. They quickly sent a new machine but this machine did not even power on. Still waiting for Drinkworks to call. Unhappy with this purchase.

My son and daughter in law are very excited to have received as a gift for Christmas and it looks great in there area.

Fast, good variety of drinks

I gave this to my parents for Christmas and so far it has been a disappointment. We have gone through two of the C02 cartridges so far and have only made one drink with them! The machine keeps on telling us that we need to replace the cartridge but we just put in a new one. Calling Keurig support is pointless. We were on hold for 40 minutes and finally hung up. You can still make some drinks without the C02 but just kind of sucks to not be able to use the full machine when we literally just opened it on Christmas Day and it already has something wrong with it and cannot find anyone who can help us fix it!

Purchased as a gift for family member. Order the day of Christmas and was delivered within 1 day. Not bad considering the holidays and the fact that this did not qualify for amazon prime. My family member was able to assemble with ease. Only thing is they do not offer sample pods. If I’m paying over 200 for your product you better get with the program and give us sample pods. Don’t be cheap with your clients who are willing to purchase your new products. It’s just common sense.

My son-in-law was so surprised loves the item

I received my Drinkworks machine within 2 days of ordering it. I used it the day I got it. I was lucky enough to have a store in my area, that sells the drink pods...Binny's Beverage Depot. I bought the Old Fashioned, and Paradise Margarita. I really like both, and feel the have a nice kick. I was also able to try the Long Island Iced Tea, and Moscow Mule, which I also like. I feel that the drink pods are somewhat a good value for the price, but some drink are kinda small once made. The alcohol content is pretty good. Overall I think it's a great idea, and the drinks taste good. I have recommended this machine to my family, and friends..I think some will also be making a purchase. I can see more drink type becoming available once this machine really starts selling.

This Drinkmaker is impressive. After initial set up each drink takes like 15 seconds. I was surprised by how good the drinks are, and it’s crazy that it carbonates the drinks too!

Update: Drinkworks sent me a email stating they were refunding my shipping. I never expected this. It was a communication error. Also my wife received her Drinkworks machine that she bought and everything is working now after the second unit. The drinks the machines makes are very tasty. I truly wish it would of worked the first time but 3rd time is charm besides all the problems. We are happy with the outcome both customer service and the machine. If you were to ask me if I would buy again the answer would be yes and I do believe it was my luck and bad batch. I don’t blame the company. So far I like the whiskey sour and my wife likes the White Russian. So I bought the drinkwork machine for my wife as a Christmas gift. I let her open it early and I am glad we did. Right out of the box the machine will not pump the water. So I am unable to do the first step of rinsing. When I go to the next step of chilling the water will still not pump after the chilling is done. So what I have is a 300.00 paper weight. Well actually I have a 600.00 worth of paperweights because I bought $300.00 worth of pods that I can not use. I left message with customer service for them to call me back within 30 mins. and they did called back about 1 hour and.15 min later.. The customer service walk us through a couple of things to try but no luck. This is really frustrating that I have all this liquor that is useless without the machine and it appears we not be able to use it for a Christmas Party. The only good thing is the Drinkworks is $100.00 cheaper than when I bought it. So I should save $100.. after I return this and buy another one. Drinkworks did not pay for shipping back to them. It cost me $53.00 with shipping insurance included to send it back. This was really frustrating that I had to pay to ship their junk back to Drinkworks. So keep in mind of you get a broken unit it's going to cost you money to send it back to them....

This product came in a box that gave away what it was and required a signature. This whole experience was a bust.

This is a lot easier than making drinks at home, but the pods are $16/4 pods so $4 a drink. Making my own doesn't cost anywhere near that and I can make them as strong or weak as preferred. Not gonna waste my money ever.

Best wedding gift I ever gave

Drinkworks is actually pretty hard to believe. Set it up, load in the CO2, and download the app to upgrade firmware. The thing reads pods and somehow knows how to make all the different drinks... carbonated, shaken, up, strong, tall/refreshing. It's crazy. Online ordering of pods from their website (alcohol, so you pay for someone to come check your ID, so buy in bulk!), or now they just launched locally in stores. My hosting game is seriously upped, and I work less!

The device is delightful, but the Thirstie service is dreadful. They have messed up two orders (pre-Thanksgiving stock-up failed); their customer service is reaponsive and helpful, but the delivery keeps getting messed up, links in their emails dont work, etc. The DrinkWorks app is necessary to update the device’s firmware, but is otherwise pretty useless. On iOS it doesn’t recognize you on 2nd or 3rd open (never had thst happen before), and is generally meh

Are you kidding me? This is the most worthless piece of junk ever put on the market. I trashed my Keurig coffeemakers over a year ago when I replaced it with my Ninja coffee bar - which is exceptional. Do I really need this product to mix a simple drink? Not really - not now, not ever. Be careful reading these reviews - many were supplied with the product free of charge by Keurig. If you enjoy spending a lot more money to make a drink at home than you need to spend, then this contraption is for you. If not, keep mixing your drinks the same way you have been all along, and pocket the money you've saved. Then go out and enjoy a couple of great drinks at a nice bar - where you will notice the bartender NOT using this machine!

The worst purchuse and customer service ever!

We've had Keurig coffee makers for years and when I heard about the Drinkworks Home Bar being released, I immediately went to purchase one directly from Keurig until I saw the pre-order price tag. I waited patiently and finally pulled the trigger after it dropped $100 in price on Amazon.com and we had some rewards points stored up after Prime Day. Even though the shipping was supposed to take up to 6 days to arrive, we received our unit in only two days. We weren't expecting it that soon and had to run to the local Total Wine store to pick up some liquid pods to try that same night (the local Dierbergs Market carries the liquid pods as well). Setup: Setup was a breeze. The water reservoir cleansing cycle took about 10 minutes and my wife installed the CO2 cartridge without any problem. We followed the instructions and didn't have any issues at all. It was hard to wait the 25-30 minutes for the unit to cool the water down enough because we were so excited to try it out, but it was worth the wait. Like the coffee maker you simply load the liquid pod, put the appropriate-sized glass with ice underneath, press the button and in 30 seconds you have a nicely chilled cocktail. Initial Impressions: The first time or two you hear the unit work and the CO2 cartridge pressure release it can be a little startling, but it isn't really much louder than our Keurig coffee maker. We figured out a routine where we remember to refrigerate a pod in advance, turn the unit on to start cooling in advance while we put the kids to bed, and by the time we're done we're ready for some drinks! Pros: * Straightforward setup * Friendly messages on the screen that tell you what size glass to use (Small/Medium/Large) depending on the cocktail/liquid pod * Cocktail quality is pretty good * Unit came with two (2) CO2 cartridges * Unit came with postage-paid bag to recycle used liquid pods Cons * Unit does not come with any liquid pods to sample * Waiting for the unit to chill can require 25-30 minutes * Had to replace the CO2 cartridge after the first 8-10 drinks brewed Bottom Line: We are VERY pleased with the Drinkworks Home Bar after our first two weeks. We've tried the Gin & Tonic, Moscow Mule, Cuban Daiquiri, and Lemon Bubbly liquid pods so far. The Gin & Tonic has a good, solid gin taste. The Moscow Mule has a really nice, sharp ginger taste which stands out. You can even taste the various fruit flavors in the Cuban Daiquiri. Looking forward to trying more cocktails!

Ordered the machine as we love our Keurig. To my surprise the drinks were great. So easy to use and very quick with no cleanup and mess on the bar! Machine is very well made and very user friendly with on screen direction for everything from cleaning, maintenance etc. I have to say I was worried about the drinks being weak but they definitely are not! Very happy with this purchase and look forward to the many more drink Options to come!

Update: Hello, I have reached out to drink works but they are of no help recently. First my machine did not come with the needed blue drink compartment for the machine to come. They sent me to blue thing and it worked. Now the CO2 part of the machine does not work and DrinkWorks is silent after sending 3-5 emails. Can someone help me?

Machine makes cocktail hour easy, with a different drink for everyone and no need to buy all those varieties of mixers. You will have to wait about 10 minutes for the machine to cool down after adding ice to the reservoir.

just received this last week, the beverages are small when poured, took about 15min for my mohito to brew, wish they also sent some samples with the machine, you would think for $350 you would get at least one or 2 but alas not. the price of each drink when you think about it isnt that expensive if the drink was larger but i think its high the way it is setup

I was able to sample a few of the cocktails that this machine makes at an event. We were able to try the margarita, moscow mule, and a vodka soda. All of which tasted great! The margarita was strong, refreshing, and fresh! I loved how easy to use the machine was. This product would be perfect to have in your house so you can make various types of drinks without having a full bar and a ton of mixers. Very impressed with this product and would recommend it to all of my friends and family!

I'll admit, when I heard about this item (cocktails from a pod... really?), I was a bit skeptical. Once I saw this beauty of a machine, I totally changed my mind. Drinkworks by Keurig totally changed the way I am going to approach all of my dinner parties I host. It really is as simple as it sounds - turn the machine on, pop in your cocktail and wait about a minute. Totally takes the hassle out of mixing drinks for parties and you don't need ANY ingredients (unless, you prefer a garnish of course). Overall, this cocktail maker is AWESOME and I recommend it to serial party throwers and cocktail afficianados alike. Well done, Drinkworks team - you've changed the cocktail game.

This new startup product has some issues with quality control. First machine I received made a very loud buzzing noice when the cooling compressor was running. This was replaced with a machine that the pressure relief valve for the C02 failed and all the c02 leaked out. This was replaced with a machine that when received had a plastic panel not secured in place. An easy fix and other than that is still working after 24 hours. It makes as much noise as my fridge compressor when in standby mode as it’s constantly cooling. There are still no beer products available in Florida. The website for ordering will not work with safari. The only place in Florida where you can find the drink pods in stores is in the Tampa area so you must order online and with Google Chrome or some other browser. Drinkmaker only makes one strength of drink. For example it would be a nice feature to have a selection for strength. Normal to Tall. It’s a simple procedure to add a little more water from a water bottle but it would be a cool feature if the drink maker could do it. Having said all that the customer service of this company is the best I have ever experienced. They are extremely motivated to provide a great product. I honestly feel that if the “factory” quality control issues are addressed and once the beer pods are available that this will be a big hit. I suppose that’s one reason for the slow national rollout. I’m keeping mine but looking forward to Gen2.
