Emerson (MW9255B) 0.9 Cu. Ft. Touch Control Microwave Oven Reviews

Works great. Old one got burned inside and had to discard. Pretty similar to old one that lasted approx. 5 years with few minor changes.

Not as good as our older Emerson model that we had for almost 18 years! The capacity is smaller and the wattage is lower. The revolving glass tray comes off the track very easily, with even the slightest bump or when dragging a larger dish out of the oven. Also the button to open the door cannot be operated with one hand. It is so difficult to push. You have to brace the microwave with one hand while pushing the button with the other. We did not have these issues with our older model. Unfortunately, after 18 years, the older model stopped working, so we had to replace it. We are disappointed with the new version of Emerson microwave.

This microwave is similar to my previous one. I have limited counter space, and this is the only microwave that is less tha 15” deep. However, rather than a handle, this unit has the push button door opener. It seems to stick and requires more pressure than I would think would be necessary.

This product has all the features that I was looking for . I am pleased with it so far

I really like this microwave. It's not huge which is fine. Very quiet and easy to see the numbers.

THE OUT SIDE, ON TOP, GETS WAY TO HOT. AND IT TAKES ABOUT AN HOUR TO COOL OFF. I WOULD NOT BUY THIS BRAND AGAIN

I had my old Emerson microwave for about 20 years, so I was very used to it; that's why I got what I thought to be one like it. The new one is just a bit smaller on the outside but a lot smaller inside. The push button to open the door takes more effort; I have to put down the item to be heated in order to open the door. I miss my old one a lot but am getting used to the new.

This replaced an old Emerson, same model and design which lasted over 25 years and two moves!

Had the previous model and it lasted 9 plus years. It was so reliable that when it went to Microwave Heaven I wished it could resurect....but...unfortunately, not the case. I must admit I researched a ton of others out there but after reading all the bad reviews I already knew I wanted the same/replacement model. I ordered it on line and picked it up 2 days later. I haven't v\been disappointed. It works great and is even quieter than its predecessor...very very happy with my choice. Buy it, you'll love it too!

Exactly what I wanted. I have had one like this for years and wanted to get the same. Couldn't fine it in the store so I went online and ordered it. Very pleased with my purchase.
