We had bought this model for our son 6 years ago and just now had to replace it. The only thing different from the original is the changed the face of it.

It works well. Food evenly cooked. But it is too big.

Good size, and it's not noisy like I read before. I wondered what some meant about that, but sounds normal. Heats fast! Would definitely buy again!

Emerson microwave oven we purchased is all that was expected to be. Our old Emerson MV lasted many years. We are happy to own this new one.

Purchased and delivered on February 21, 2019. December 2019 began making all kinds of noises. January 2020 the turntable stopped turning, just groans and makes noises. I am wondering if there is some sort of warranty on this product?

I love it! It works really well. It isn't any louder than other microwaves that I:ve owned..It's important to make sure that the dish/bowl of food is centered on the glass revolving plate, this prevents a rough sound , otherwise you keep hearing the sound until the weight of the dish/bowl of food is balanced in the center.

Lasted OVER 12 YEARS and through multi-generation's use, (including our collective 5 grown children and 5 nearly grown grandsons!). Is loud and a bit bulky, definitely a work-horse, not sleek and silent, but does the job quickly, efficiently and well. (Finally went belly up and refused to shut off..even with the door open but we certainly feel like we got more than our money's worth). R.I.P.

My previous Emerson microwave lasted 13 years so I bought this one. I ignored the reviews that said it was loud and made a worrisome sound. I kinda regret that now. This microwave sounds like it has a high voltage power supply connection. It doesn't sound like a microwave, but more like something from a science fiction movie. Honestly, I think Emerson needs to address this issue. Putting aside the sound it makes, the microwave has done very well in the couple of weeks that I've had it. It heats or cooks evenly and it seems to do the job faster than my old 1000 watt Emerson. It's well lit inside while cooking and when the door is open. Beware of microwaves that don't have the light come on for both. The exterior is sleek and modern and the handle is So Much better than the push button types that are bound to fall at some point. The interior is a bright clean white, unlike the gray color of a more popular brand I almost bought. The size is good and the dimensions are almost the same as the old one that fit perfectly in the cabinet space for a microwave, and there's plenty of leftover power cord. I think I'm going to keep it. I needed a basic microwave for reheating, melting cheese, popping popcorn, and just simple every day usage. This Emerson does all of that and more with room to spare. Hopefully it will last as long as the previous one. As for the sound it makes, I guess I'll just put up with it. When I have guests over, I'll just have fun with it and act like I'm being shocked or something. (Really Emerson, y'all need to fix that sound)
