Pros: The cooking surface heats up quickly, does a good job and is very easy to clean. Cons: Poor overall quality, the cover doesn't seat properly and the stand is not very sturdy. A good improvement would be a hook of some kind to hold the cover while checking your food. Looks like the product has undergone a series of cost reductions, not sure George would endorse the current product.

I love grilling outside during the warm summer months. Everything that can go on the grill, goes on the grill! I have enjoyed cooking on this since day 1! It was easy to put together. I have yet to cook inside but plan to at some time in the future. Cleaning is a dream! This is my second George Foreman grill. The previous one was old and dying from much wear and tear. This is a testament to the quality of the product.

The feet that hold the grill in a stand position snapped right off where they connect and I am unable to find replacement parts... not to mention we have only owned the grill for months and used it twice this should not have happened. :( if it was not for the leg issue we really have enjoyed the convenience of this grill.

Pros: 1) Heats Quickly - The whole surface heats up very quickly. You are ready to cook in a few minutes after only a few short minutes. 2) Design - The parts include the stand, a bottom dome, the flat grill that sits on the bottom dome, and the lid. You can easily remove the flat grill part to use indoors separate from the stand, and it also makes it easy to clean because you can just throw the flat grill surface in the sink. 3) Easy to Clean - The grill surface is pretty easy to clean. However, grease is never easy to clean. 4) Easy to Assemble - It is pretty self explanatory. Put the pole of the stand into the foot of the stand. Attach the grilling surface to the bottom dome. Stick that whole thing on the stand. Then put the top cover on. It took me a few minutes to put it together. 5) Great Tasting Food - This is the most important part. It cooks things fairly evenly, and it tastes great because the dome lid help locks in all the steam and flavors. I tried cooking everything unseasoned and it still tastes fantastic. I mean, this is one of the things that I love about hotplates...food tastes good without a lot of seasoning. Cons: 1) It requires an outlet. But is this really a con? 2) When you lift the grill by the handles, the stand comes out (since they're not really "attached"....the grill just sits on the stand.) So you have to lift it by the pole of the stand. 3) The grease doesn't always drip into the pan. This is no shocker! However, it works fine...I didn't notice severe grease build-up that prevented me from grilling. Overall, this is a great grill. It is easy to assemble, heats food up quickly, cooks the food wonderfully, and you don't have much of a clean-up. I definitely recommend it.

This grill has a great cooking surface I can cook more than six patties at one time. The electric cord that comes with it is similar to that of an electric skillet but much larger and the cord itself is much longer which I appreciate. I do not like the temperature gauge on the cord itself as it is only levels ie: hot, hotter, hottest and not actual temperatures. I would actually prefer numbers instead as that would make me feel more secure on how the gauge is set. It does come with a temperature gage on the dome but that will cool each time you remove the lid. The tray that the fats drip into is pretty large and it also helps catch excess water when you are cleaning the surface. I do like the fact that it can be used either inside on your counter or as I use it on the stand or even outside one a picnic table or using the stand. My cabinet space is very limited. Clean up takes a bit longer since I can't just take the cooking surface to the sink and rinse it off there. It is fairly easy to clean even when you burn something on there. That temp thing But you have to be careful rinsing it. Over all I do like this and look forward to using it more often after the holidays are over.

I had pretty big expectations from this Foreman Indoor/Outdoor grill and I was completely let down. I have used the regular Foreman in the past and liked how it cooked my meat. This grill seemed like it changed over the years. First of all, the grill was somewhat easy to assemble, just snapped the pieces in place. But I will warn you, make sure the fat tray is secure and the grill is clicked into place before using. I was making burgers and walked away for less than 5 minutes and I came back to a puddle of grease on my kitchen floor. The directions advised not to use on counter because the heat might discolor the counter. Scared if my counter could take the heat I decided to use the base in my kitchen. It was more of a mess to clean up than just to clean a simple frying pan. The grill itself had no traction and my burgers were sliding all over the place making flipping them hard. Every time I lifted the lid to check on the food it dripped steam condensation all over my floor. I was sure my smoke alarm was going to go off from all the smoke in the house the grill let off. A couple nights after the burgers I tried to make steaks on it and my steaks ended up curling up on the sides and were so tough. Cleaning of the grill was easy, but I had to clean the whole base and kitchen floor from all the spilled grease and water. I do plan to give it another try outdoors when the weather warms up before I completely write it off. It is a tad awkward to store but I believe leaving it outside would ruin it.

The George Foreman Indoor/Outdoor Grill is fantastic. It was very easy to put together but I will confess that I drew a blank while assembling and put the grill on the stand backwards. You can tell it is backwards because the grill is supposed to slant forward, which it did, but the fat was also supposed to drain toward the front into the grease catcher. I had the grease catcher part of the grill toward the back of the stand so the fat was draining forward and had no place to go....duh. Anyway, it was fixed so the grease catcher was in the front and everything was perfect. The first this we cooked on the grill was burgers. We fit 8 good sized burgers on there and there was probably room for a couple more. I didn't think it was going to have that kind of space but it was amazing. All the fat drained off an out of the burgers but still left them so juicy. My family loved the burgers. Next I am going to do hotdogs on it. I placed it in the garage to cook the burgers because it's been getting a little cold here. It didn't smoke up the garage at all so maybe I will move it into the kitchen to cook the hotdogs on. This is a fantastic grill and I would recommend it to all....especially those who like the fat to drain out and still like a nice juicy burger. You will not be disappointed. I know I wasn't and neither was my family.

Received this George Foreman Indoor or Outdoor Grill. It is packaged well and arrived in excellent condition. Upon reading the instructions for assembly, I found that they have included no pictures only a few lines to instruct you for the putting the legs together and attaching the handle to the doom lid. The only tool needed is a screwdriver to attach that handle. The doom of this grill has a temperature gauge and lets you know how the heat is inside the grill. When you remove the grill doom, you will find a non stick surface on the grill and two drain holes for the grease to get away from the food into a collection tray, that is easily removed and cleaned. This grill has a plug that goes into the side of the unit and then you can choose the temperature of which you want to cook, love the electric method. This grill has attached legs that will set on the counter top, I set in on a cutting board so that it was not in direct contact with the counter, It states that if the counter can stand a temp of 150 degrees it is safe. A normal grill has open slots and food can fall into forever lost, but not with this grill, any food item is safe here and leaves the best grill marks ever on the food. I have used this grill inside and outside and the same flip attachment that hold the grill is so great. I love the ease of which I can handle the grill and move it about. I am no longer able to handle the gas tanks and to move around the bulky grills of today. I can once again have my grilled food and be able to easily keep it clean and put it anywhere I want. I would recommend this grill for anyone who needs a grill, it gives you great cooking, the right amount of cooking space and the convenience of grilling inside or outside. There is no mess on your deck or concrete and all grease goes into the drawer under the grill. Consider this grill when you are buying your next grill as it gives you all you need and with the ability to move about and ease of storage. I love mine.

George Foreman Indoor / Outdoor Grill, 240 Sq In, Temp Gauge. I've been using grills for long time ago, charcoal ones and also with gas, but this is the first time that I have a electric grill and I pretty impressed how well it works and all the advantages that it has over the charcoal grill and Propane Grill. The first advantage that it has is the size and weight, you can put it wherever you want, inside on a table or outdoor with its own base. This grill doesn't produce smoke because it doesn't use fire to cook the meal, and for this reason is perfect to cook inside your house when the weather is not helping. Other great advantage is the lid with the temperature gauge that allows you cover the meal and cook it with a uniform temperature also you can cook a pizza with this grill and verify the temperature all the time. The surface of this grill is with a ceramic coating that improves it, and you are not going to have more food stuck in the grill also it helps a lot when you have to clean it. You only need a wet napkin to clean the grill when it is still hot, and it will look like new again. Also all the grease goes to a tray where you can easy remove and clean it.

We live in a townhouse and I can see this being just as ideal for someone living in an apartment complex too. I love that I got this just in time for winter too. I have cooked chicken on this so far but it was too tough so that ended up being food for the dog. But I can't wait to cook more different things on here and find the best ways of cooking it on this George Foreman indoor outdoor grill. Do know that if you use BBQ sauce that it may burn like mine did. It was a VERY hard to clean up to get all of the sauce sticking everywhere all over this grill top. I am excited to have this option to grill wherever I want to plug this in! Do know that this has a VERY short cord for some reason, being an outdoor grill too and even for indoors I would expect a longer cord because it's so short. This really does work with my space though. I got the bigger one and it's still VERY small, think not too much bigger then a big mixing bowl. This says it fits 15 servings but that is not true. Depending on the size of the meat portions you won't get any more then six servings of meat on here. I am glad I didn't get the small George Foreman grill in this case. The stand and top can be a bit wobbley but it's fine for what it is. I would say the concept is better then the overall product but it's not bad. It's perfect for our living space and just in time for winter! I like having this around as an inside option for grilling out! I like that you can easily slide the drip pan underneath and you can easily wash this off. The drip pan is dish washer safe too and higher quality. To top this off I like that you can use the top as a portable serving dish too! I just have to find out the best way to disconnect it for that. These are my honest opinions for this George Foreman indoor outdoor 240 sq in grill I was given to for free. Do know this is a very easy set up but a very tight fit in the box so you will have to tear the box completely everywhere to get this all out. That was great for shipping quality though it was clean as can be. I have provided two pictures, and the grill is not as tall but works for me because I'm 5'5.
