I only have one complain The product claims is smokeless but not true you should still place in a well ventilated area when using the grill.

This has been really great. I love how easy it is to clean. I use it to make burgers, and when I'm done i just tip the grease out and disassemble it and stuff the dirty bits in the dish washer. The only thing about it is that I wish it got a bit hotter. When i'm making burgers, if they're thick, it seems like it takes a very long time to get the centers hot enough, and usually by then the outsides have developed a bit of a char. Doesn't make them taste any worse, but it does take a while to cook thick burgers. I don't imagine you could properly cook like a tri-tip on this at all. Steak possibly.

When they say smokeless they mean it! My goodness I love this thing! Its was rainy, but we still wanted steak pinwheels...I will admit I was skeptical about “smokelessâ€Â, but my goodness there was NO SMOKE!

As far as being smokeless, that depends on the fat % of the meat and how it's prepared. I used 80 / 20 ground beef burgers and there was minimal to no smoke. I didn't buy this based on it being "smokeless". I got it based on size and ease of cleaning. If anything, I wish the frame "felt" a little more durable instead of plastic, but it doesn't hinder the operation. Cleaning is easy too, with the drip tray and grill being dishwasher safe (verified). Overall I like it a lot. Well worth it...

The grill is attractive and easy to use. It however does not get to the searing temperature required for meat which is 500ºF. I was only able to get a little above 400ºF. So if you don't care about have the nice sear marks on your burgers or steaks then for the money it is an ok grill. No sure how well the plastic housing will hold up over time. Also of concern is the plugging in of the control and the contact. But for the money if it craps out in a year I guess it is ok. You tell it is made in China just by looking at it.

Living in a small apartment we are not allowed any grills outside. This grill is the perfect solution!
For my first try I purchased two Strip Steaks. In reading the instructions, it states to cook steaks on high heat, which I did. The grill heats up quickly and cooked my steaks to a perfect medium rare. While cooking, there wasn't any smoke. Pan cooking causes more smoke than this grill. The searing of the steaks was beautiful and gave the meat the authentic outside grilled texture and taste. When it was time for clean up, the grate is very non-stick and wipes down nicely. The catch pan, while I thought would be difficult to clean, was actually a breeze to also clean.
This grill is perfect for anyone who does not or cannot have an outside grill and won't set off smoke alarms [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I love my old George Foreman grill, but this will definitely replace it. The old one is sooo hard to clean. This one is a piece of cake. It literally is 3 pieces, and can easily be hand washed or dishwasher washed. It is very large, holds tons of food. I have cooked 7 hamburgers and 4 smoked sausages at once, and cooked 12 pork chops at once. It leaves grill marks on the food just like an outside grill would. This will quickly become the most used piece of kitchen equipment that I have. One last thing, it stands sideways for very easy storage! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

My kids were so excited when this grill showed up in the mail. They wanted me to make them burgers for breakfast! So for dinner we made burgers and chicken breast. It turned out great! The George Foreman - 172" Open Grate Smokeless Grill was so easy to use and cooked everything perfectly! The clean up was so easy! The non stick grill was so easy to wash it was a relief! The drip try underneath was a nice feature as well. The whole thing goes back together easily and doesn't take much room to store when I slid in in the cabinet on its side!
