Well, so far we have only used it twice. Once for quarter pound burgers! We loved the ease of use and adaptability of the lid for these thick burgers! Cooked perfect! Second for grilled cheese sandwiches... perfection! Browning, grill marking, heat... all perfect. We couldn't be more pleased. Also on the side note of clean-up... Can you say EASY!

I have never used one of these grills, and always thought they were a little hokey. It just delivered today, and I was anxious to test it out, so I mixed up a little parmesan breading and threw on 3 large chicken breasts. Wow! Where has this thing been all my life?? So quick, so easy, and so delicious! I read a few reviews that mentioned dried out chicken and I can only imagine it was just wayyyy overcooked, because mine cooked perfectly. I can't wait to try more foods like burgers, veggies, and pork chops. This model is a little pricey, but it is solid, heavy and looks really nice on the countertop. Totally worth it in my opinion.

The stainless finish is very nice. The grates and the drip pan clean well in the dishwasher. I've only grilled hamburgers, and chicken breasts so far. I find that they get a bit dried out even though I marinate everything. Still a good grill - ZERO smoke! It's great to use in the kitchen when you don't want to pull out the big outdoor grill. Larger than I realized, so I'm still searching for a good place to store it.

I bought a new $0k kitchenaid range last year because my range went out, but I find myself using this George Foreman more than the cooktop on my kitchenaid. I'm still using the oven portion of my range for many things, but if I need to do any chicken or steak, and I dont want to fire up my smoker and wait an hour, I slap them on my GF and they are done in 8-12 minutes @ 425. A real time saver when you are in a pinch, and it cleans up so easily. It will create some smoke when doing meat at higher temps, so I would recommend putting under exhaust fan if you have one.

I thought this GF was had to use. The top was so heavy and clumsy. It also tended to slide as I was raising up or down the lid. I can’t express how much I hated this Foreman grill. And I’ve been using them since they’ve been out and always loved them.

With a growing family, we find it more and more challenging to find the time to make home cooked meals. So, anything we can do to speed up our cooking time and too make cleaning up easier is going to be appreciated by me. It has been a long time since I've used a George Foreman grill. If you are familiar with the original versions, you know how simple to use these are. Put your food in, close the lid, and take it out when it's done. But, wow, they have come a long ways. This particular grill retains a lot of the great benefits from the original George Foreman grills. It is still incredibly easy to clean. The grill plates simply pop out and can be put into the dishwasher. It cooks evenly across the entire grill. This is a big improvement over using a bbq which can cook a bit unevenly. The fact that it cooks on the top and bottom at the same time let's you avoid flipping. While still retaining a lot of the benefits of the original, it also offers a number of great additional features. The first is that this grill is nearly entirely smokeless. I mean, there is a tiny bit but, for the most part, it is just as advertised. Cook all that you want with virtually no smoke at all! The digital controls on the front give the grill a lot more flexibility in cooking (yeah veggies!). Finally, it is large and lets me cook enough food for everyone at once. I can easily cook 4 extra large burgers or pieces of chicken with no issues at all.

It has a timer and lets you know when its ready to go! Super easy to clean and the burners pop off in seconds for super easy cleaning! Love this product!! This is my favorite new cooking device! It saves me a ton of time and cooks everything to perfection! It is also super fast! I've had these in the past but not like this. One of the best features is the removable plates. It makes cleaning up a breeze! The removable drip tray is also fantastic, no more plastic cup with hot grease sitting around. The digital display is easy to use. It also stores easily. It leaves nice grill marks on your food. I've cooked chicken, steaks, bacon, wraps, grill cheese, and even zucchini. It doesn't fill the house with smoke either. Its an excellent gill and would be perfect for anyone, especially if you hate cooking!

My old George Foreman grill was nearing it's end of life so I was excited to get to try this. The biggest change from my previous one was the digital screen and smokeless feature. The set up was simple and the digital screen was just as easy as the old ones with only a light to let you know when it was ready. Now, I was skeptical of the smokeless feature, but it really is! I'm so impressed with this product. With the holidays coming up, this would make a great gift or if your grill is getting older, upgrade it and treat yourself to this one! We all know these last so long, the brand is reputable, and these nice new features absolutely make it worth the listed price.

I was skeptical at first when I had seen the size of the bottom tray on how much I would actually be able to cook at a time. However, our first night I was able to get 4 decent sized hamburger patties on at a time, plus they cooked fast and I didn't have to worry about flipping them and waiting for that side to cook. It cooks evenly and thoroughly. The plates are easy to remove and to clean, as well as the drip pan. The control panel is easy enough to maneuver.

This George foreman tabletop grill has been great to use inside of the kitchen for making grilled food. It is made of stainless steel and has removable plates with a drip tray that are dishwasher safe so it is quick and easy to clean. You can fit five good sized burgers on here at once and they cook in under ten minutes depending on how well done you like them. Due to the holes in the plates, the oils, fats, and grease don’t stay on your food but rather fall down to the drip tray so there is less smoke which makes this great to use inside. The unit itself is easy to use and figure out. It has a touchscreen display that goes across the entire front of it that is self explanatory. This is heavy at over 13 lbs but it is pretty small for its capabilities and can fit my cabinets. If you like grilled foot but don’t have a grill, this is as close as you can get!

I am very impressed by this smokeless griller. First of the surface area is quite adequate for our feeding needs; myself my wife and our three toddlers. The smokeless aspect is truly there. There is some smoke coming out but definitely limited as opposed to other so-called ‘smokeless’ grillers which I own also. It also looks really nice in the kitchen. The food comes out great and as well done as I need it to be. Powerful and well made. Definitely recommended.

The George Foreman Family Size (4-6 Servings), GRD6090B Smokeless-Digital Smart Select, Stainless Steel is an awesome indoor use grill! I am very pleased with this grill. The outside of the grill has a nice stainless steel look to it. It comes with top and bottom, removable grill plates that have nonstick coating on them. They pop out very easily to clean, using a push button release. There is a nice grease catch tray underneath that pulls out easily for cleaning, while ensuring there is no mess on your counter or table. It has a wide handle and opens and closes easily, and stays up when it is open. So far I have cooked hamburgers and grilled cheese on it with no issues. The plate is large enough that I was able to cook 4 grilled cheese sandwiches simultaneously. I never saw smoke from cooking the hamburgers. It works very simply. Press start, set your temp and a red light will turn green when it is ready. Once green light indicated temp had been reached, put the food on and wait. I found that the grill heats up quickly and is ready to cook quickly. I highly recommend this George Foreman indoor gril

This George Foreman grill is very nice. I've been using it to cook hamburgers and prime rib for my family. The grill is very easy to setup and use. Very easy to wash and rinse all of the parts. The food it cooks really is less greasy as the grease falls through the holes inside the grills. I would highly recommend this George Foreman grill to anyone!

Smokeless as advertised. Last time we cooked a couple of filet steaks with the old George, it smoked up the house. With the new one, grilled the steaks, no smoke. It catches the drippings beneath the grill plate so they don't burn and smoke up house.

I was excited to finally upgrade my old (original from years ago) George Foreman Grill. It advertised as smokeless and had a larger grilling area. I had read a review about the item not heating up correctly but had read others that did not have a problem, so as with any item, you roll the dice and hopefully you get to write a good review at the end. Well, I am in the bucket of writing a bad review for the exact reason another person had complained. The elements do not heat to the advertised temperature of 425 degrees. The grill is very well made, awesome removable grill plate with old style nonstick coating. Grease tray is easily removed and located underneath for a Clean drip free counter ! It is hard to measure the smokeless claim, I believe it says it reduces up to 88% of the smoke from previous versions. It still smokes during cooking. The video they show was not nearly accurate as to what happened while cooking two hamburger patties. I had smoke coming mostly from the back and a little on the sides along with grease splatter. Very simple operation. If you just want to fry a burger, hit the on button as it is preset for the highest temp of 425. The beautiful red light across the entire lid, slow flashes until it reaches temp at which point the red light turns green (see pictures). To reiterate, At green you should have reached the desired temperature. Biggest problem was the temperature. My old foreman, patty on, 5 mins, patty visibly done. On this new model, patty on, 5 mins, without any disturbances to the cooking item, when I raised the lid, patty did not look thoroughly cooked. I stuck a fork tine in a patty and blood juice came out indicating it wasn’t fully cooked. So I went and grabbed my temp gauge. See pictures. I fully cleaned my plates, turned it back on and heated it to readout of 425. Once green light indicated temp had been reached, I waited another 5 mins before I raised the lid to check temperature. I immediately checked temp upon raising the lid. As seen in pictures the top lid registers only 364 degrees and lower only 360. The lower grill was even lower in most areas, not consistent across grill. I checked all the temp setting, which are in 25 degree increments. From 350 degrees and down, the temp measured most accurate. I say mostly because although none were lower than stated temp, most were upto 10 degrees or so above listed temp. I finished by reheating to 425 and then left the lid open, to see at what point grill would recognize the cooling of grill in order to reengage the heating elements. It took 8 mins of the lid being open before display registered heat loss and turned to red for reheating. As a comparison, I took out my trusty old grill and heated it up. Sure enough, it registered 520 degrees. I sent new one back for a refund. On the whole, the grill is really nice and I wish companies had better quality assurance. George Foreman is a renowned name, these products should live up to his legacy.

Wow, George Foreman products have come a long way. I still remember our first George Foreman Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine that, despite its issues, saw years of constant use from the entire family. This one is vastly updated and I love it. I like that this one has a more closed construction. The dripping tray is enclosed instead of outside of the machine now (although that's likely nothing new, but my first George Foreman was long ago). The tray and other parts are removable for easy cleaning. The machine has a very user-friendly digital interface that takes the guessing work out of it. Most importantly, the grill cooks my food pretty well. There is a little bit of smoke but not much, and there have been no problems in operating it. There is a bit of a standard learning curve with certain types of foods but I've gotten better. There are no weird chemical tastes on my food. Overall I love the performance of this grilling machine and would definitely recommend it to others.

This grill is a massive upgrade from previous models. Large enough for family cooking, beautiful stainless steel finish, lightweight, easy to store, easy to clean. Heats up very quickly and does a good job maintaining temp while cooking. Precise temp and cook time controls are super helpful for unattended cooking. This is a big time saver once you learn the temp and time required for foods you cook regularly. Large front handle for easy access and the balanced top stays open while you add, remove, or turn the food. Disassembly for cleaning is easy, everything comes apart and can be put through the dishwasher. Putting it back together for cooking is simple and quick. This is a well-designed product.

It’s stainless steel. The plates are nonstick, so it’s very easy to clean. I put it in the dishwasher. It heats up very fast and the food tastes delicious. The food is evenly grilled. The plates are good for a variety of foods. The drop tray comes out easily and cleans easily. You can put foil on it to make for less cleaning. I love that the temperature can be controlled by me, my old foreman only had one setting. I only wish I could cook more at a time, bc I have a large family. Otherwise, I absolutely love this product and would recommend it!

I have a 20-year-old GF grill and it is still going strong. We don't use it as often as we would like because it is hard to clean due to the non-removable plates. This grill is a dream to clean either in the dishwasher or by hand. I clean them by hand to make sure they are clean and to ensure the nonstick coating remains intact. The grill heats quickly, the settings are easy to understand. We had no issues using this grill for hot dogs and burgers. I wish, that like some other grills on the market, this one had reversible plates that would allow for cooking pancakes and other similar items.

Our family has had at least three generations of the George Foreman Grill since 2003 (wow, I checked). We are big fans. There have been many improvements over the years, and this model is close to perfect - George Foreman Family Size Grill GRD6090B. It’s big, and can cook four 1/4 pounders with room to spare. The cook time is quick with heat coming from both sides. The smoke problem from the previous (large model) generation has been solved, so this unit is great for smaller kitchens, apartments, dorm rooms - and low ceilings. The grill cover is on a floating hinge, so contact with the meat is even, and it’s a simple open and close. The front control panel is super easy to use, easy to see. There is a long and very visible red bar that shows when the grill is below temp or warming up. It turns to green when at temperature. You can set the temperature and a timer. The grills pop out with a quick push of a large button. I hand wash, but the two grills and drip pan can be put in the dishwasher. Also, this unit can be stored on its side if cramped for space. So easy to use and clean. These machines have been a home run for quick and easy protein. Results are consistent - beginning cooks can’t go wrong. Years of tweaking have made the design near perfect. There’s even room for some veggies.

We had an old Proctor Silex indoor grill similar to this one, and after years of service the non-stick finish was getting pretty rough. We upgraded to this as a replacement and I like it for the most part. The build quality seems excellent, with very solid construction and heft to the unit. It looks great too thanks to the stainless steel finish - much more attractive than our old model. It's a bit more versatile too thanks to the temperature setting control. It's simple to operate, and I like the fact that the grease drains straight down through slots in the grill and into a collection pan underneath the unit. Other grills like this use gravity to drain the grease down over the front lip of the grill where it collects into a drip tray in front of the unit. That means your grease is always visible and unsightly. Here the grease is out of sight. The only issue with this grill, and it may or may not be a negative depending upon your needs, is that the top grill is quite heavy. I use mine daily to make breakfast burritos, and the lid is so heavy that it squeezes much of the ingredients out of the ends of my tortilla. So with this one I have to leave the lid open and heat my burritos on the bottom only, flipping them over to heat the other side. It's not an issue with some foods and is actually a plus with things like chicken breasts where the heavier weight brings faster cook times, but it is a consideration. Overall, we like this grill. It looks great in our kitchen, offers great build quality and versatile cooking, and keeps cooking conditions cleaner and neater thanks to the underneath grease tray. With a lighter lid I'd give it 5 stars, but it's still a solid piece either way.

i really want to love this thing but, i can’t cause the person who designed this is not very smart!! not sure what made them think a super heavy lid that has no real rivet support and uses the food itself to hold up lid was a good idea. the weight of the lid is so heavy that in smooches the heck out of the food in grill. that burger you see in my pic WAS a 6oz slightly bigger than a 1/2” thick patty before this foreman grill destroyed it!! in 4 minutes it turned it to a deep lumpy nasty looking burger, totally crisps up the top side and made this burger inedible! it left NO juice/moisture whatsoever in it, which is pretty bad cause this was a really fatty burger that sets my gas grill on fire when i cook them on it, thats how juicy and fatty it was before it got destroyed by this foreman grill.. the same happen with chicken breast strips, the same happen with frozen chicken and i tried a hamburger patty again but, this time put it in there frozen and again it destroyed it too. the only thing this grill is good at cooking ASIS is johnsonville cheddar hot dogs! Still i really liked how it did not smoke up the house at all, loved how super easy it is to take apart to wash, really loved how easy it is to wash the plates for it is truly nonstick, the digital settings are simple and the bright lights is great for us going blind ones. given its good qualities, i decided to keep this and make it work somehow. for now i rig it with 8 popsicle sticks on each side to hold lid up so it doesn’t destroy my burgers and this works out good but, top part still likes to crisp up food too much so best to not listen to temp settings in manual and lower the cooking temps to 375 for burgers and chicken if you want your food to not be dried out.. anyhow, i would past on this model until they redesign the lid. you shouldn’t have to rig it to make it work for you!! oh also the plates are not interchangeable, when i saw grill i thought we could use top grill plate on bottom for like toasting bread or veggies but, you cannot.

Wow! Talk about an upgrade! I’ve been using the same original Foreman grill for 20+ years, but when I seen this, I decided to give it a try. It is amazing! It cooks faster than the original with easier clean up. I love that the grill plates pop out and I can throw them in the dishwasher. I also like that I can control the temperature so I’m not burning vegetables. The stainless steel is very attractive and cleans up well. The handle is an awesome upgrade! No more burns when trying to lift the lid! The lid lifts easily and stays open unlike the original grill where the lid was extremely heavy and would slam down if you weren’t careful. I was afraid it would be too big and I wouldn’t have a place in my kitchen for it, but it takes up the same amount of space as my old one. I love this! I highly recommend! Only complaints: 1) electric cord could be longer. 2) the grease tray is a little stiff getting in and out. You have to be careful so you don’t spill it. 3) wish it came with a set of extra flat plates for making pancakes then I could get rid of my electric griddle.

I've had so many different George Foreman grills over the years, but this one is their absolute best one yet. First, it looks so sleek, I keep it on my countertop. Second, the design is the best for the grill. It has the heating element wrapped inside the plate, with holes cut out for the grease to fall into. So smart. That's why it produces so much less smoke. Easy to clean plates, as always. This one is a homerun.

Just used this George Foreman grill and I really like it. It says it's smokeless and I agree for the most part it's little to no smoke while cooking. The grill is stainless steel and looks and feels well made. It had a odd smell coming off it like plastic but I believe that's because it's the 1st time it's been used. I cooked 2 hamburgers and they tasted pretty good. Next time I'm getting the meat that you pat out vs this patties that's already done. That wasn't the grills fault tho, that was my doing. I really like the digital display! It's really cool looking and very modern. It has a timer on it, different temperature settings are all digital. Under the grill it has the grease catch pan thing. It comes out just by pulling it. The metal things(racks) that the food cooks on comes out by pushing these buttons on the sides of them. They come right out so you can wash them. One thing that I don't like about it is the timer buzzer /sound. You can barely hear the thing go off and once it does go off that's it. It doesn't continue to go off or anything like that. So if you don't hear it for some reason the food is going to burn. Would've been a simple thing to fix but it is what it is. As far as the cooking goes it cooked my burgers evenly, cooked them in 8 mins and you don't flip the burgers being that it cooks both sides at the same time. It has this little menu thing in the box that tells the times and temp for the most common food you would cook. I personally really like it and would buy another one easily. It's getting cold so I'm not going to be able to use the grill outside and I love grilled food. Hamburgers, Ribs, Steaks, chicken, hotdogs and so on.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have been using my new George Foreman contact grill for weeks and I must say I am very pleased so far. I use it nearly every day and it does a great job. The contact grill has a nice stainless steel looking. Both plates are nonstick and easy to pop in and out for easy cleaning in the dishwasher. It’s super fast heat-up and cooking. The two different surfaces that come with it are great for different foods. I made grilled sandwiches, pancakes, pizza, french toast, etc. I cooked steak medium rare in 7 minutes and medium well in 14 minutes on 425 degrees. Chicken breast filet was done in 5 minutes with no flip. Food came out perfectly, top and bottom equally grilled. The drip tray slides out for easy peasy cleaning. I put foil paper in the drip tray so I don’t need to clean it after every use. I would highly recommend this indoor grill, it does not make a lot smoke. All I do is turn on my range hood. It’s less mess than cooking on my GE gas cooktop.

The removable grill plates is giving me life right now. Clean up could not be any easier. I love grilled food, hate going outside to use the grill, cue this baby. It's perfect. And although I can't make as much as I need to at once (family of 8) I can still make more on this at once than I typically can on my stove. There's nothing about this that I don't like. I see someone else had dry chicken but that's not been my experience with this - the total opposite actually. My food is cooking quickly and cooking evenly and tastes delicious and juicy. George Foreman for the win!

Very expensive ,Wasting money, bread is not fluffy at all , grill did not heat up enough , I grilled chicken breast was very dry took more than 30 minutes to cook it . Any food will come very dry because the cover will squeeze the juice out . So disappointing

I ordered this grill to replace a 12-year-old much larger indoor grill. I wanted to downsize, since our three kids are no longer living at home, but I still wanted a surface that is large enough to cook a decent amount of food. This grill is the perfect solution. My previous grill did not have removable plates. Let me say, this feature is a game-changer! This grill is so much easier to clean than my previous one! I absolutely love that I can wash the plates in the sink, rather than having to carry a wet cloth over to the grill to wipe it down after each use. The crumb/grease tray is also easy to remove and clean. The grill cooks evenly and toasts bread perfectly when used as a panini press.

The box was soaked when I got home to take it inside. I have a carport that would of been a better place for delivery

A complete piece of junk. We tried it with two chicken breasts. The top cooked. The bottom was hugely cooler. We had to flip the meat. The top is too light to sit well on uneven meat, like the chicken breasts.

We had a very old George Foreman grill that we've used a lot and when it became time to replace it we wanted to stay with that brand. We liked the old one and love the new one. Here's why. The old grill had a dial thermostat to set different heat levels. Never really knew why and always just set it to high. this grill has no thermostat setting. you plug it in and it turns on and when it reaches the correct temperature, a light comes on and you're ready to cook. The old grill had a larger footprint and took up more space. this one is more compact and has plenty of cooking surface. For example, 4 pork chops fit nicely. The old one had a plastic try that you set in front of the grill and grease would run down the grill plate and into the plastic tray. This grill has holes in the bottom grill plate and a slide out tray underneath to catch the grease. The grill plates and grease tray go in the dishwasher for easy cleanup. Hamburgers for dinner? no problem. Pork chops or grilled chicen? No problem. No skillets to fool with, just let George do the grilling.

Extremely weak and slow. The moment I put some ground beef on it. I could barely hear it sizzle. After almost 10 minutes. It turned the patties a dull gray. It wasn't able to sear them at all. After having it open so I could toast the buns. It failed to toast them and instead just dried them. Also the handle got scathing hot since the heat rose and the handle is made of metal. Lastly the cooking plates have giant gaps in them so all the fat falls down and nothing is retained for the actual cooking which resulted in a rubbery hard puck of a burger.

I love this new George Foreman grill. It is compact in size. Works great. I love that my food doesn't come out greasy. So much healthier. I live that I can fix a number of items on this. It's also easy to clean. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I absolutely love this indoor smokeless grill. I love that your food cooks in half the time & you get to avoid all of the smoke. Cleaning the grill is very quick & easy; just a push of a button to release the plates & you just slide the drip tray out. I will definitely recommend this grill to others. I got this smokeless grill about month ago and i just love it. It's perfect when want something grilled but don't want to wait to cook. My favorite to cook on it is chicken breasts. they are cooked in minutes with no smoke. Everything I have made in my smokeless ready grill has turned out great. I also like that I can grill indoors without my house smelling like smoke, in the wind and rain. I think it will be great this winter too. I am very happy with the ready grill and have told several people how much I like it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
