I had a George Foreman grill several years ago. When it finally quit working I decided to replace it with another brand. From the very start I never liked the other grill but I kept it because it got great reviews and it cost more. The biggest difference was that on the other brand the grease didn't get off the plates like it does on a George Foreman. I would end up with grease on my counter and a lot left on the grill plate. YUCK! Now with my new George all the extra grease goes straight into the drip pan. YEAH!
I have only had my George Foreman Evolve a week and I have made burgers, grilled cheese and waffles. All the grease was off the burgers. I found out with the weight of the lid you need to use a thick bread otherwise it smashes it. Panini's would be great.. I made a bit of a mess with the waffles. I need to adjust how much batter I put on the grill plate because it ran over the edges. Took awhile to clean up but...THEY WERE DELICIOUS! I will definitely make them again.
I am glad I went back to a George Foreman.

Was super excited to use this; however, when I went to use it, I plugged it in and next to the min it says "no" and next to the temp it says "AC". Troubleshooting isn't available for this error code. Needless to say, I was very disappointed that I can't use it and needing to return it.

this is not the first one i've owned of this george foreman model. these are poorly made, fall apart easily and the 'non stick' trays do not remain non stick after only a few uses. the issue i've had with this one is the base cracked so it isn't strong enough to stay put and it tips over. poorly made and cheap materials must have been used in order for it to break after using it for a week in total since i had this. i am very disappointed with the quality of this grill. i do not recommend!!

Just updated my George Forman to another Evolve model. Love the versatility of this appliance with multiple grilling plates. The plates from the former model work perfectly so didn't have to purchase another set. The new porcelain grill plates cook fish, burgers and chicken without sticking; clean up is a lot easier. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I love my grill. In fact, I have two. One next to the other. Only problem is that one of them, after a couple uses gave me the Op Err on the display and now I'm back to one grill. Don't know how to fix it and the user manual doesn't even address the Op Err problem.

The omelets turned out well. I love the removable plates for easy cleaning although I worry that the springs/connections may not hold up.
I was surprised at the length of time it takes to come up to temperature, very slow. That makes "the fixing" of whatever you're cooking much longer than I expected.
All in all, though, it's a good product that looks good on the counter as well.

This kit doesn't have all the bells and whistles. It doesn't come with all of the pieces that you can get from other places. We had all of the other pieces from a previous purchase elsewhere. But we needed a second base as our old one stopped heating. This kit does have the drip plate, the main grill plates and the waffle plate (which is great for cooking hash browns!) but has no instructions, spatula or the deep dish plate, burger plate, or muffin pan. Except for the instructions and spatula, I don't use the rest. So, I'm glad I didn't have to spend the money to get extra items I don't use. I down loaded the instructions from the internet and used the spatula from my old set. It was nice to find "the essentials" at a reasonable price rather than spending the money to buy the whole giant kit at twice the price.

I just got my George foreman evolve grill yesterday thanks to my Friend Ginny. I have made waffles,bacon and cookies. They all came out perfect. I know this will be a grill I will be using almost everyday (I need to go out one day a week). I don't mind making bacon as no muss and no fuss.Easy to clean everytime I use it. My husband is a happy camper with the treats I will be making in and on the grill. From 1-10 it is 10 high in m y book.

I bought this grilling system to replace an outdated non plate-removable GFG. I love this grill, it is versatile and easy to use. I have cooked on it almost everyday since I got it 2 weeks ago. Our new favorite is bacon-wrapped chicken tenderloins, delicious.
