This 2 slot toaster is great. I especially like the 'Bagel' setting which allows you to toast bagels and hamburger buns on just one side. It also has a 'Defrost' setting that allows you to defrost and toast pop tarts and frozen waffles. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Received this toaster and found it to be well made and more importantly does a great job doing what it is supposed to do....make toast. It also does a nice job toasting waffles. Received this toaster about a month ago. I have kept the setting on 3 and it works well for me. Regular bread and bagels fit fine. I have not tried English muffins yet and I have not used the "defrost" setting yet. I like that you can have a bagel soft on the outside and toasted on the inside. It is easy to grasp a hot piece of toast with the high-lift boost. This toaster is lightweight and matches my other kitchen appliances. Best of all, the sides do not get hot. This toaster is an upgrade from my 20 year old toaster. The toaster toasts evenly and is very easy to adjust for doneness with notched settings. I especially like the bagel feature for using it on hamburger buns which I think greatly adds to burgers. Cleaning out the crumbs is a breeze with the easy to open hatches on the bottom of the toaster. I have tried to give away my old toaster but folks see the new, much better looking toaster and try to pry it away from me. All in all a great all around toaster that should last me a long time. This review is for a 2 slot toaster not the 4 slot. We loved this product except when toasting a bagel. Only the outside edges were warm, not the inside as it would be with the toaster oven that we are currently using. Toasting an english muffin or toast was much quicker than using the toaster oven. We loved using this product and will continue to use it with the exception of toasting bagels. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I received the Hamilton Beach 4 slice toaster to test and review. I love this toaster. I can toast 1 to 4 slices of thin bread to thick bagels. Each 2 slot section has it's own slider, timing control knob, and function buttons that light up. You can toast, defrost, or just brown the inside of a bagel. I have used it almost everyday since it arrived. It toasts perfectly and it looks really good on the counter, the chrome and black matches my other small appliances. This toaster has a bagel and defrost setting which work perfectly. Both toast and bagels come out crisp on the outside soft on the inside which is a great combination for my taste. The wide slots provide for many different bread types.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have had many Toasters by several Companies and find that I am VERY IMPRESSED with this Toaster. The Extra Wide slots are fantastic for Bagels and Texas Toast, that will not jam up inside. This toaster is even better than I was expecting! I gave it to myself for my Christmas present in 2016 and after I searched through many toasters and read many reviews I decided on this one. I'm so glad I did! It fits bagels, has an adjustable timer, and has a cancel button- everything you need for the prefect toast, bagel, or frozen waffle!
