Wanted a toaster that only toasts bread. So many other toasters have the ability to defrost, toast English muffins and other assorted muffins. The slots to put bread in are wide, the toasting is even on both sides of the bread and whatever you set the dial at is exactly what you get. I'm quite pleased with the selection I made.

The right-side push down mechanism will not cancel when you push the little button next to the toast darkness level dial. This happened on the first day so either this product is cheaply made or I may have received a defective one. I will be returning it and ordering a different toaster altogether. Left side works fine.

The features I like the best are the extra wide toaster slots and a cancel button to pop toast up with lifting on the button.... Good Price No Problems as of yet, working well.

Wow, this toaster does it all! I had been using an old toaster from the 70's. This toaster does bread, bagels and english muffins perfectly! I like that it has a bagel button that toasts a bagel perfectly. I had missed having bagels. The toaster browning settings are great. So easy to use and looks great on the cabinet! No more burned toast in this house! Thanks Hamilton Beach for a great product. Doesn't this bagel look good? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We were looking for a 4-slice toaster to replace a 2-slice that we have and got the chance to try this one out (full disclosure this is a free unit provided for an unbiased review). We liked the retro look and the fact that it could handle larger breads like bagels. It's very simple to use (wife loves that). The toast dial has not been used past 2, because that hits the sweet spot between very light and dark - not too many dark toast fans at our house. Cleanup has been really easy with bottom crumb collectors that slide out and the metal surface wipes clean easily as well. It does what a toaster is supposed to do and it does it quickly and efficiently. Would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who is considering getting one. I received this toaster about 3 weeks ago. I like to look--stainless steel. The toaster slots are wide--great for bagels but also for rolls. There is a bagel button!! There are several light-dark settings. This is great because I love DARK toast. Most toasters will not toast DARK. Another great feature--there is a cancel button. If you feel the toast is getting too dark-you just cancel it. Now, the best part--the crumb trays. At the back of the toaster; slide out and you can clean them. No more tipping the toaster on his head. The cord can be placed on any side of the toaster which is nice for a counter set-up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Very disappointed. The bread sticks out of the top even when the toaster leaver all the way down. This is just normal bread from the grocery store not a fancy bigger sliced bread. No idea how terrible it would be with a bagel
