Pop up a healthy snack in minutes with the Presto 04860 Poplite Hot Air Corn Popper - Red. Using hot air instead of oil for popping, this popper is faster, healthier, and more economical than microwave popcorn. Able to pop both regular and gourmet popcorn, you can pop up to 18 cups of popcorn in less than two-and-a-half minutes. The butter melter on top doubles as a handy measuring cup while the chute directs the popcorn directly into your bowl. About Presto National Presto Industries Inc., was founded in Eau Claire, Wis., in 1905 as Northwestern Steel and Iron Works, maker of industrial-size pressure canners for commercial canneries. Ten years later, it began manufacturing large pressure canners for home use. In 1939, the company introduced the first saucepan-style pressure cooker and gave it the trade name ''Presto.'' Since then, the company has expanded its product line to include a wide variety of popular cooking gadgets, including electric griddles, pressure cookers, pizza ovens, deep fryers, and more. Pops with hot air for a healthy alternative. Faster, healthier, and more economical. Uses regular and gourmet popcorn. Virtually no unpopped kernels. Butter melter doubles as a measuring cup. Chute directs popcorn directly into bowl

Our family loves it, we use it EVERYDAY. My 10 year old grandson makes his own popcorn now, its not difficult if you show them how to use it properly. Great buy..... TIP - Do not use cheap corn Kernels, you can and we have, cheaper kernels leave more unpopped Kernels. Not too many.....no big deal.

This works exactly as expected. You're going to get some unpopped kernels. That's just a fact. This works nicely and quickly. Very happy with the product.

This popper works great. It takes about the same time to pop a bowl of FRESH corn with NO CHEMICALS as it takes to nuke a bag of microwave popcorn. I bought it to have as a healthy alternative. My ONLY negative is that this machine does NOT have an on/off switch. Iit works great and is good looking enough to leave out on my kitchen counter. I am extremely happy with the purchase.

We have large nostalgic popcorn maker and cart on wheels in our basement that we use for movie watching. However, we wanted something simple to use just for a quick healthy snack and this works just fine.

Reviews marked this as the best hot air popper to purchase. Additional info obtained from the popcorn popper inserts told me several useful things: - Store the popcorn in the pantry. Fridge storage can cause popcorn to dry out. - For optimum popping, pop 1/2 C of kernels. - Store assembled upright, which fits perfectly in my tall appliance cabinet with the 1/2 shelf.

This hot air corn popper met and exceeded my expectations. The only suggestion I would make it to have a shut off switch placed on the base of the unit eliminating the need to unplug the unit from the outlet. This would increase the ease of use and safety of the unit. Great quality and value.
