It holds 4 cups of water, not 8 cups.

I really don't understand what the other reviewers are talking about....I've used this every day twice a day for a month now and had zero issues with it. No coffee grounds in my coffee, it's been bumped and not broken- zero complaints!

It lets lots of coffee grounds into the coffee, cheaply made, garbage product, would never buy ever again.

Not worth it. This broke during my first time making coffee in it. The glass cannot tolerate anything bumping against it when full. Spend a little more and get a better one.

Glass is paper-thin and broke the second time I used it. I'm hoping to bring it in so I can get an upgrade.

This French press is OK. Coffee comes out fine, but I just don't love the quality of the press itself. It feels cheap, and the glass had a weird film on it for weeks. I hand wash my dishes so maybe if I had a dishwasher it would have come off sooner.
