Have not had a chance to use on my instant pot yet. But have tried to attach to the steam release valve and wasn't able to get it attached. Didn't spend to much time on it so it may still work.

It does exactly what it's supposed to do. Diverts the steam away from cupboards and out into the room to dissipate.

I used to use a cutting board and that was pain to stand there until it vented now I just place this and it it vents on its own. The price is fantastic. Amazon sells for 4 times the price. Who needs a character to vent?
