Hand washing the Base Unit with a warm, wet towel and a light cleaning agent is possible. Because the Heating Element is protected by the Grill or Griddle Plates, it shouldn't become dirty. If the heating unit has to be cleaned, unplug it, let it cool fully, and then wipe it off with a moist towel.

I saw the infomercial and thought I'd give it a try. Performs great.
Only 2 things stop it from 5 stars.
1) having to take it apart to add the water before use. It would be better if it were a drawer type to make it less of a problem
2) cleaning is a small hassle. After I thought I'd cleaned thoroughly, there was still some grease on the cooking surface.
But it did perform perfectly.

I bought this about a month ago and I am so happy I did it's made life easier I don't have to wait when I come home to go out and get the charcoal grill started I don't have to be cooking in the chilly weather I can cook right from my countertop

This is a great grill....I thought I bought the one with/without the smoke remover button. Since I didn't, it still worked great....no smoke at all. My first trial - the steaks were moist and tender. Easy clean up. Love, love, love.

I was hesitant to buy this but did allot of research. I figured why not, due to I hate using grills but wanted that type of food, and not at a restaurant. So, I bought it and it did what was advertised. I cooked some brats and they were amazing!!! Had that burntness to them, which was what I wanted. I'm going to be cooking pork chops and steaks next then get the recipe book out and try out some new stuff on it. Overall, I'm super happy with this and definitely would recommend too to anyone (especially those in apartments or just hate the grill).

I have been enjoying my smokeless grill. It preheats pretty quickly. The only thing is that the grill and griddle seems to slant a little to the left side. Other than that, we love it. It cooks evenly and their is no smoke. It is going to really come in handy during the fall/winter months when you can't go outside. I also love the extra attachments it comes with.

We received this grill as a gift and it has not disappointed us. The power smokeless grill XL is so easy to use. It easily fits 4 or 5 large steaks. It's powerful, quiet, and not one tendril of smoke escapes. Clean up is a breeze. All washable parts are dishwasher safe, though I prefer to hand wash. The nonstick surface works so well, even cooked on sticky marinade flakes right off. I'm beyond satisfied. I will definitely recommend this to others.

I've had my grill for a while now and have used it several times. It's nice to have when it's hot or cold outside. I can grill indoors anytime. It was just what I wanted.

We're not allowed to have grills on our patios, so the power smokeless grill is very convenient. Food taste and looks like I made it on a regular grill.
