After 7 glorious years of charcoal grilling on my large terrace in Manhattan, the FDNY finally decided it wasn't cool. Rather than fight in this tough time, I immediately ordered this wonder of an electric grill. As a charcoal purist, I was very skeptical. But this grill is simply outstanding. Aside from the obvious convenience (I can use it every night, don't need charcoal, can have it right next to my terrace door as opposed to 10 feet away), it genuinely captures an outdoor grilling experience and taste. The design and, especially, the cast iron grate, make it simulate the high heat retention of charcoal. And with a simple, improvised, aluminum foil smoker box with mesquite chips wrapped with a few punctures on top, it produces as much Smokey flavor as my charcoal pit ever did. The ease of use, total simplicity, and dedication to the best flavor experience outweigh any bells and whistles on any competitor. AND IT IS HUGE. I used the platform attached to my premium Weber Charcoal Grill to stand it, and use the old grill as a prep tray and storage place (using the lid) to keep things from cooling off as I cook. At 280 Sq. Inches, it is 80% the size of the charcoal grilling surface, and in my opinion, more usable overall because the Cast Iron heats so evenly after a proper pre-heat. A+. If you need to make your life easier, or live in a place that is strict about gas or charcoal, this is THE ONE TO GET.

The Weber Q 2400 Electric Grill exceeded my expectations! As a previous Weber Gas Grill owner, it's been tough living in an apartment complex that doesn't allow gas or charcoal grills. After much debate, I finally decided to go the electric route. The Q 2400 heats up quickly (20 mins.), and develops nice sear marks on steaks or chops. I recently recommended it to neighbors, they purchased one and are thrilled with it as well. Another great Weber product ~ Highly Recommenced!

Having to switch to an electric grill (condo rules) from propane and charcoal I was not expecting too much. We like to grill out and this was the only choice. We looked at several other E-grills and decided on the Weber Q 2400. After using it 4 or 5 times we have decided that we love it. The old saying about 'exceeding expectations' applies here. Very impressed. We opted for the more heavy duty rolling stand. Again a very good choice. Well made and offers a little more support I would think.

I've tried cheap charcoal smokey joe type grills. I've tried cheap gas grills. Finally, I decided to get a Weber. I got electric since I'm renting right now & wasn't sure where I'd end up. Got the stand for it as well. Was a little unsure, since some other reviews said they had issues getting this hot enough. No idea what they're talking about. If you follow instructions and give it 20 min to heat up, it's more than hot enough. No bs coals to light up, just plug it in and go. Love that I can take this tailgating at some point as well since its electric and I can grab power from the car. Recommend! I think you'll love it. Attaching image of grilled cheese pizza.
