The CHARD #5 Electric Grinder is perfect for making burgers, brats and sausages. Bought it to grind up some venison to make jerky with but as soon as i turned it on it gave off a funny smell. I thought it was because it was new and it would go away.I went ahead and used it on about 3 lbs of meat and it ground well but the smell got stronger like the motor was over heating. I decided to clean it up and take it back with the intentions of getting the same brand and model but noticed the price jumped up $10 online so I'll wait. Walmart returns was great as always.

I have used my grinder five times so far and each time it worked real well. For the price I paid it is a good deal for sure.

I am not happy with the performance of the chard No 5 Grinder. I was going to start grinding my own hamburger. Grinder made the meat like mush. Taking it back to Wal-mart.

Just got it and used for 3 times, really enjoying it. It's in pretty big size.
First I was sceptical about the price, but now is happy that I got it.

Should have gotten rid of my old grinder, I was a little uneasy about buying a grinder at the cheaper end , but this works great, it's quite easy to clean. Only thing I have against it is there is a plastic washer near where the shaft is inserted into the machine. Husband says this should not be a problem.
