Krups deluxe convection oven has fast heat-up and turbo cooking functions with 8 presets, making your every toasting cool and fast.

Does this oven have an automatic off switch?

Once you hear the three loud beeps that signal the time you specified on the panel is up, you must press the start/stop button to stop the cooking. While baking, it won't turn off on its own. You must remove the dish from the oven if you don't want to continue baking even after you turn off the oven because of internal residual heat.

How do I set the time?

The owner's manual has the instructions, but they are very carefully concealed. Hold the "select" button down for one second to restart the clock. The hours will fly. Set the nob as required and press "start." Repeat several times. Hold the choose button down for three seconds (I believe) if you're setting up for the first time, then continue as directed.

I had this for about 1 year and I still think this is the best oven yet. I was looking for another brand and seen this one and I am glad I purchased it.

The first one we purchased, the clock did not keep time, so we exchanged i and the new one works fantastic.... Like any toaster oven, the outside gets very hot, other then that, I love it... Cook's evenly, and super quick on convection..... I highly recommend it..

I love my new Toaster Oven. It is big enough to use for almost anything I need. I rarely use my range. It cleans up easily if you do it after using it for doing things that splatter. I would recommend it to anyone. I love having a light for when you need one.

Went to Walmart today, saw this Krup OK710 stainless steel Convectional toaster oven, just what I was looking for. Alas, what a disappointment. Minutes ago I unpacked it and right out of the box one side of the front handle was unhinged from its screw. Being a handyman of sorts, i thought to myself, well I can just screw it back. Guess what, the screw head is hidden behind the glass plate and not accessible unless i break the from glass plate. What a cheap thing to do after all the good work on the rest of the body!

We have owned our new toaster only a few weeks, but so far, we are extremely pleased with its performance. We should know much more in a few months when the appliance is used for a greater variety of dishes. The English part of its instruction booklet could have used a slightly larger type face, but its diagrams are very good. Walmart had the lowest price anywhere for this appliance.

I really wanted to give this Krups Convection a 5 star, but it has two features I dislike, so a 4 is all I could give. I looked a long time to find a oven that had a ROAST feature, and I found this. That is the reason for my buying this oven. But, the 2 things I dislike are: 1) It's a nice size, using up too 14 inch pans. This came with one 13 inch pan. I am looking on the internet trying to find a nice roasting pan. Every thing I find are like 8 iches, fitting a small toaster oven. I even when to Krups web site. They didn't have a picture, and it was out of stock. The search goes on!!! 2) Now, this is a the real reason for the 4 rating. When you are baking or roasting something and the timer goes to 00.00, (meaning it's done) a lite sounding buzzer goes off, but it continues to cook until you turn it off manually!!! It will continue to cook for 2 hours, then will automatically turn off. So, if you don't hear the buzzer, your meal may be burnt. I would assume when the timer goes off, the oven goes off! How ever, I do like the oven over all. It bakes, roast, and toast nicely.

I feel sorry for the couple that decided to return their oven over an issue they had with the timer. Who throws away a perfectly good watch? Consider this: The variable shade toaster shuts off automatically as specified. The oven, "beeps" when at the end of set time but does not shut off independently (otherwise operates for 2 hours, max). This is actually a good thing in case an extended cooking time is desired and also eliminates having to reprogram. If forgetfulness or other medical condition is a problem then perhaps try a wearable timer as a reminder or dedicated kitchen timer, and also apply an oven temp gauge to fully appreciate the economy and capabilities of using this beauty. It has an interior light, and different heating elements combine to provide state-of-the-art convection cooking. What other brand offers those features in this price range? In addition, I appreciate that the door will position partially open for ideal cooling (very thoughtful design). The sturdy size is also ideal and it performs with incredible precision and efficacy. Digital is convincingly better. A mobile kitchen island provides an excellent pedestal for the oven, for positioning the heat where I want it, away from the wall, and for optimum cooling - which is fast. I researched for weeks, even returned an oven after deciding an affordable, intelligently designed and constructed machine did not exist, and then this one suddenly came along and I said, "Oh, I have to have it!" -- and now, before they're all sold out. Obviously no regrets.

I've owned this Krups Convection Toaster Oven for a week and really enjoy it. I cook with it daily. The upper Quartz heating element and Convection fan give it a fast heat up cycle, with the lower rods providing a steady temp level. The convection fan is pretty quiet. I didn't give it 5 stars because the user interface isn't the most obvious or user friendly, but you get the hang of it quick enough. The build quality seems very good. Unlike my prior Toaster oven that was similar to this, I will avoid using tin foil on the bottom or in the cooking trays because this tends to cause the heat elements to burn out. I also didn't give it an extra star because the insides are the standard metal and it doesn't really have a non-stick surface which would help keep the insides clean. The unit isn't too heavy, and it gets about as hot on the top and sides as all the rest seem to. Also it works like a standard oven and doesn't automatically turn off when in BAKE mode, at the end of the set cooking time. So you really will have to pay attention. Other than that, it comes with a 2 year warranty, seems pretty rugged, and is one of the few that has 2 different types of heating elements for even and steady temp cooking. I think you'll be happy with your purchase if you buy one.

In Fashion Merchandising class we used the double rack oven to bake our cakes for our wedding project. Turning the oven off and on very frequently, it heated up quickly and cooked our cakes evenly. Being in a classroom setting this would normally be a project we wouln't be able to do, but with the convience of the small oven we were able to do this project. The cakes we made were delicious and perfectly cooked! I would highly reccomend this product, it is ideal for home, classrooms, dorms, and offices.

I would have given it 5 stars. The oven works very well. It does get quite hot on the top and back, but that is true on most toaster ovens. What I could not live with is the fact that it will not turn off when when the timer counts down to 000. It will stay on for 2 hrs unless you turn it off. It says that in the manual. Called Krups and they said that's the way it is, just like a conventional oven. My old Oster shuts off when the time is up. Had to return it. My wife said take it back.
