Makes toast as it should, has release button to easily get it out before time is up. Does feel rather cheap, hope knobs hold out. Good price.

I purchased this toaster because we are just once-per-day users. The price was fantastic. What you get is a light weight toaster -- feels like a toy toaster compared to toasters from 10 years ago. However, it toasts evenly and the controls you set provide consistent browning to desire. I'm not particularly happy that, unlike my previous toasters, you can not simply push the toasting levers up to pop the toast up early; instead you are told to turn the browning selector knobs to stop position. It does allow for wide slices and bagels. But, it has a strange wire "clamp" in each slot that closes down on the slice each time when lever depressed, probably to keep it centered in the slot. I am wary that this not-too-stable-looking feature will be the first thing to go. Thus, time will tell. I know someone that bought a Wolf toaster for sever hundred dollars. I can buy At Walmart's price I can buy over 16 of these for my 1-a-day use for bread, bagels, or waffles. So, I am happy it is what I expected, but, would leave it to a friend to decided only after explaining the details.

This toaster is great for the price I paid. It is a little flimsy on the top and seems to toast darker on the lighter settings. We are just setting it at the lightest setting so it's a light brown. I'd buy it again.

This is a great toaster for the price. It adjusts to toast bagels as well as regular bread. It has plenty of settings for lightness and darkness.

Good basic toaster so far. Have to play with settings to get it right. Will not handle extra long items, but wide items are OK.

It's not the best but I'm not picky. It was a good price and allows me to do 4 slices at a time. You have to keep the setting set really low for bread.

We bought this to replace a relatively new and much more expensive 4 slice toaster. The old toaster was nothing more than a $40.00 paperweight with fancy options, none of which worked as no matter which you chose, it would only toast one side of the bread. So I decided to go with the basic toaster and, low and behold... we have toast... toasted on BOTH sides!!! And for $17.00!
