I have owned this oven for 3 years and have not had a problem with the glass door like other reviewers. I have even kept it outside on patio on the hot sun and through hurricane season in Florida and it is still holding up nicely! This oven is huge but I love. It bakes breads and cake way better than my regular oven due to convection fan. Just be careful because the outside surfaces and anything surrounding it will get HOT.

Love this toaster oven! Researched quite a few and decided on this model. Its safe enough to leave on the counter under cabinets. ( my toaster cant ) it cooks better than my full size oven / range. It does get hot around the frame surrounding the door, but it can be touched on the sides, back and top. I use the convection setting for almost all cooking except baking . It comes with a pan and i have a flat small cookie sheet without sides that fit, but will be purchasing other pans to use .

I am thrilled with this oven! My regular oven is broken, and in this time of COVID-19, it may be a while before I can have it fixed. I do a lot of baking and was disappointed not to have my oven. I bought this hoping that I could actually bake 100% whole wheat bread from scratch in it. I was not disappointed! The bread turned out just as well in this oven as in my regular oven! I have only had it since yesterday, so I haven't tried much else. I did some personal pizzas, which were perfect, and some toast, of course. The toast took about 6 minutes to make, so wasn't very practical for just two slices. I can see where it would be convenient when making toast for the whole family! I can fit my full-sized pizza stone in the oven and also a 9 by 13 pan. This is a great substitute for my regular oven! I noticed that other reviewers mentioned the door. It does kind of fall down on the counter when opened. I can remember to be careful, but my kids probably won't, so we're going to put something rubber on the edge of the counter so that it doesn't break. I had also read some other reviews that said the temperature ran hot. I didn't check the temperature, but baked my bread at 350 using the convection setting for 45 minutes, as usual, and it was exactly the same as always!

a while back the oven door wouldnt shut completely. then it got where it was stubborn to open, not every time but sometimes. so this morning the oven door shattered out on me. I had glass on my shirt! I am so thankful it was me and not my 7 year old. The glass would have been in his eyes! I have always enjoyed the oven but I would RECALL THEM! I have since looked at reviews and I am NOT the first to write this same exact review! I would NOT recommend this product! IF you have this in your home and the door jams do NOT pull on it! THROW IT OUT BECSUSE IT IS NOT SAFE!

What’s Right about this product: This oven has a 16" opening - much wider than most. Maybe some people will regularly cook a 16" pizza in this oven, but 15 inch casserole dishes with "ears" for handling are more likely. So are standard 15" catering pans, and aluminum 15" pans that are commonly available in grocery, and big box stores. See picture. This oven replaces another "Large", commonly available, countertop oven, with a 14" opening. These containers simply did not fit in the old oven, and had to be transferred to a smaller pan. If you have ever tried to transfer a 15" lasagna to a 14" pan, you can imagine the mess that this oven avoids. It fits everything that we have or would buy. If it won't fit in this oven, it has to go in the big oven that requires 4 times the electric power. Electric power is another consideration. Most large ovens require 1800 watts, or ALL of a standard 15 amp electrical circuit. There is no power to spare, for even a can opener or hand mixer. This oven requires only 1500 watts and the circuit is not totally utilized to the exclusion of all other appliances. It still gets the job done with less power. It is Underwriter's Laboratories rated. This oven is mostly stainless steel, and is easier to clean as a result. Many, if not most, countertop ovens are painted, or powder coated, and the heat of the oven causes them to discolor. I’m an engineer, and the design and quality of manufacture is better than I would expect from an oven at this price. Exceptions are noted – but they are minor. I still earns a 5 star rating. What small things could be improved at minimal cost for the next design: 1. I wish that the oven had a third slide such that the wire grilles could be set another 2” higher for broiling. 2. This oven get’s hot – hotter than most. Perhaps this is necessary to heat such a large volume, but insulation inside could improve things. The sides are ventilated, but care should be exercised to touch only the control panel and insulated handle of the door. 3. Because the oven is designed to accommodate a 16” round object – it protrudes about 3 inches out the back and the front of the oven is consequently 3” closer to the edge of the countertop. As can be seen from the second picture, this causes the door to contact the edge of the counter. One solution is to purchase essentially the same oven with French doors for twice the price, or protect the countertop. The next design could include an extension of the cast handle on the ends to touch the countertop, rather than have the hot glass touch the countertop. 4. Because it has a metal cabinet, I also wish that it had a 3 wire plug. 5. Perhaps the rear protrusion was removable, such that a flat panel would slide in instead, or that a model was available without the protrusion. If was not as deep, and I had to trim 1 ½ inches off two sides of a 16 inch pizza - No problem. It would still cook the pizza, but it would retain the critical 3” of counter space in front of the oven. 6. I wish that the removable drip pan were made of stainless steel. The bright metal that it has, works fine if covered with aluminum foil. Keep the foil away from the heating elements.

This is the only oven I use - all of my baking dishes and pans fit. It is efficient and versatile, accommodates 12" pizza and yet does not take up much space on counter. Love, love my Oster oven, and NEVER use my standard oven because it is too big and inefficient.

I purchased this counter oven after returning a different brand that was similarly priced. That one did not have a stay on switch like this. It allows me to turn on like a regular oven so I can let Preheat as long as I want and cook as long as I want. The other oven had a default timer that dictated how long I could use. The other turned off because it made you time and only to 90 minutes. This one with stay on mode is light, stainless and comes with many extra cooking items. Holds a 12"+ pizza and 9X13 pan.

Great oven, saves on heating up the larger oven.looks sleek a bit large but cooks most anything that the large one would.large pizzas . Makes House smell great ,when baking, the convection cooks baked goods perfectly.

This oven is beautiful and it seems to work well. It's plenty big but I have two issues. The oven in the video is different than the one i got. it shows that the bake pan has its own rack, well it does not and also no red power light at the bottom. My bigger issue is the quality control with this oven as they applied the digital control pad all cockeyed and it ruins the ovens looks (see photo) These items are not deal breakers but I am not happy about it so I gave it an overall average rating

I only rated durability at 4 because I've only had it about 1 month. So I can't really tell on that yet. The price was good for the size and features. Walmart site-to-store was great. Love the rounded back that lets you cook a large pizza. My 9x13 fits great and I like the convection feature, something I've been wanting. But there aren't any real instructions for converting from regular oven to convection, regarding the time difference. Still, I'm working with it and it's doing ok. It has a feature called 'warm' which I assume means it will keep something warming for 30 minutes (or you can set for lesser time) but there are NO instructions in the booklet about WARM, and I'm not sure if that is going to be good. Still working with it. I wish I had more counter space -simply to keep the unit out from under the cabinet more - it warms up the underside of the cabinet a lot when I'm cooking, and the short cord doesn't allow for much positioning. I understand why the short cord (safety) but it should be a little longer. Otherwise, it cooks great and I love it so far! Love not heating the big oven up for casseroles, etc. ONE other thing- you can't cook past 1-1/2 hrs (90 minutes) - unless you adjust it when it's done to start again. It's not a slow cooker and you can't run off and leave it all day. So go use the slow cooker :D BTW, the broiler pan in the picture came with it, and it also has 2 racks and 2 rack positions (low and midway high) in the oven.
