I bought this as a gift for my fiancé (a Star Wars fanatic) and he loves it. It's very easy to use and he likes the fact that the top is also a bowl. It runs quiet and it doesn't take that long to pop the popcorn. He hasn't had it that long so only time will tell if it lasts for a long time but for now he's enjoying it. The only downside is when it's almost done popping some of the un-popped kernels shoot wherever because of the forced air.
