Haven't had our microwave long (a little over a month) but loving it so far. It looks great in our kitchen, is easy to use and clean, and has some great features. I like that this microwave has a “+10 sec†button in addition to the common “+30 sec†button. Haven't had any issues with the way it heats food so far. We had a similar Frigidaire microwave in our previous home, and, thankfully, never had any issues with that one. Hoping for the same with this one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I bought this to replace a 20 year old microwave. I couldn't believe how much lighter this is! I read a ton of reviews and Frigidaire came out on top for features, price, reliability, and over all satisfaction. I'm very happy with the purchase, it fits in well; matches my other white appliances (Kenmore's, which are no longer made), and my mother who's 93 can easily operate it. Looks good. The door is better latching than the older frigidaire model. Love the bright light inside and on the stove.
Wish it had instant start when pressing the start button, but it does have instant start when pressing the 1, 2, or 3 button.
Low speed fan makes a funny noise. I don't even know if it's working. It sounds like the motor is seized at the low speed. We only use it at high speed, which is very loud... probably 10 sones. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I've had mine for about a month and a half and it is perfect for all uses! I can reheat stuff easily with the different options offered, I can quickly cook side dishes to go along with the entrees of our meals, and it just looks clean along with the other Frigidaire appliances. After a couple weeks of use the microwave is great. Heats well and even and runs very quiet compared to our old one. The one main grip is that there is no one-button start which was the most used feature on the old microwave. Can't believe this model doesn't have that basic feature. I recently purchased this as my old one went out. It was also a Frigidaire, which I had for many years. I cannot believe how quiet it is when running. I certainly like that! Nice features. We needed to replace our aged over the range microwave as the controls were malfunctioning. We shopped around online for several weeks and landed on the Frigidaire 1.8 cu. ft. model because it has the features we want at a great price.
Since I was installing myself I was happy to find the installation instructions and owners manuals online during research. The stainless steel is easy to clean and matches the Frigidaire refrigerator we purchased last fall. We plan on purchasing the 5 burner gas range later this year so all our appliance match. This is a replacement for a 3-yo microwave that started throwing the breaker. Nice that it was the same build so it could be put onto the old back rail. But the exhaust fan housing was broken in three pieces that I have here. Luckily the fan was still able to be secured.
