Arctic King (AFRM033AES) Compact Refrigerator Reviews

This is a nice size refrigerator/freezer. After 10 months, it's keeping things cold. I haven't used the freezer, but it stays very cold. Looks nice. It's a little noisy, but nothing disturbing.

Simultaneously bigger (on the outside) and smaller (on the inside) than it seems. Fits a decent amount though. There's no light. You might be able to attach a push light inside but I'm not sure if that's safe with batteries. The shelves are removal. The bottom shelf has a raised part (see photos) so that part won't fit much unless you remove one of the shelves. The shelves on the door are quite specific. I put 8 oz water bottles in the part meant for cans but they're a little too small. Anything not tall or wide enough tends to fall out of the other door shelves when you open the fridge. Without cramming it, this is what I've been able to fit in there: (in the freezer) 5 small chicken breasts, one 5 oz salmon, 2 bags of instant rice, 2 ice cream bars, (top shelf) 1 lemon, 1 avocado, 1 grapefruit, 2 apples, 2 cucumbers, 2 broccoli crowns, (second shelf) 2 pints of grape tomatoes, 1 package of mushrooms, 1 package of strawberries, 2 bags of baby carrots, (third shelf) 1 bag of arugula, 1 bag of spinach, 1 head of lettuce, 5 yogurt containers, (bottom shelf) 1 container of hummus, a dozen eggs, 1 package of chocolate. Door shelves: (top shelf) 5 yogurt containers, (middle shelf) 4 sticks of butter, 1 peppercorn grinder, 1 pink Himalayan salt grinder, (can dispenser) 8 mini water bottles (could fit another if they were wide enough to stay upright), (bottom shelf) 1 bag of arugula.

I t works Great and hold so much. Instructions said to wait 2 hours before turning it on once it was uprighted. We picked it up at the store so we could check for damage, but it was double packed and we did not have the equipment to open it so we took our chances and brought it home and opened it. I think because it was double packed it, there were NO scratches or dents in it! I would recommend this product.

Problem with top door shelf wire retainer not long enough to stay in place. First customer service agent hung up as soon as I described the problem. Second rep said part not available. Without this problem and the attitude I would give this unit 5 stars. Easy to set a consistent temperature, and seems sturdy. I am "old" and didn't want to return it to the store. So I will live or die with it--time will tell.

Happy and Comfortable with my purchase! The model (AFRM033AEB) is nice and big enough for someone independent. Wire rack safer than glass and easier to clean* (I recommend reading the manual before turning it on). referring to temperature control at max and med. freezes; keeps food cold and before sleeping to a minimum since every 15 minutes the compressor pumps and sounds low to sleep peacefully!*Regarding packaging, it arrived fine with no damage and dents thanks for being careful Walmart and Artic King!** Very thankful.

It works great keeps everything cold and freezer keeps my ice cream firm. It's a bit light weight so it will move when opening door as the seal is snug as it should be. I push a finger on main part as I pull door open so it won't move I'm happy with my purchase. I did add a lock as I have it at work and don't want my lunch to disappear again

My refrigerator came horribly dented!! It will be returned today!! I'm angry!!!

This little fridge is

It's a nice refrigerator. We've had it for just a couple days, but it cooled down rapidly and it's super quiet. It has a pretty small footprint , so it won't take up a lot of room on our shop work table, yet has ample room for storing adult beverages. :-) If you are considering purchasing this refrigerator, I have a couple of suggestions. 1) Be sure to look at the interior of both the black and stainless steel models. I like the can rack in the door better than the door carousel. It's easier to get to the "flavor" you're drinking, just grab and go. No nuisance of pulling 3 cans of something else out and reloading them at the top to get to what you want. 2) I noticed that lots of people have experienced receiving them with dented side panels. I opted to send it to the store, then I had the kid at the pick-up kiosk take it to the car so that I could remove it from the shipping box and inspect it's condition before taking delivery of it. Take a knife or scissors, you'll have to remove shipping straps and cut through cardboard. (Sidenote: it's packed in a box inside another box that has protective styrofoam. It was nice to just have the store handle the recycling of all those packing materials for me.)

OK fridge. Freezer is worthless and wish it was all refrigerator. Not surprised there are dents on the bottom and side from shipping but it works so I'll keep it. Can't see the dents since it is under a cabinet. Not worth contacting Walmart since they are unlikely to help with that. Customer service is terrible compared to Amazon or Costco.
