This model, does it have a self-defrosting mode?
Defrost cycles are timed into the compressor.
This model's minimum set temperature is 40 degrees Fahrenheit, thus defrosting should not be necessary unless you intend to place it in a chilly, humid location (i.e. a non-temperature controlled basement).
Because this model lacks a heater for defrosting, the ambient temperature must be at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit (most wine coolers do not).
