I moved into a place with a smaller kitchen, and it's perfect for this kitchen. Works great no complaints. Very happy with this purchase.

Well, this sure beats the store brand that lasted exactly two years with only slight use. It is solid, controls easy to use. Not had it long, but it is more solid than the other one. Cost about $20. more but think it will last longer. Had it mailed free and am very satisfied with that. Oh, consumer Reports recommended it.

While only owning the Avanti for a week it seems to be a good machine. It replaced a microwave we've had for years. We purchased this one because it is similar in size to the old GE and had similar features.

On the third attempt at using, trying to cook some chicken, the microwave hadn't cooked the chicken after 20 minutes. When I tried heating a cup of water, it remained cold. Returned the microwave to Walmart. Did not want to try again with this product as the brand had been unfamiliar to me before purchasing.

we purchased this for a college dorm room because we were limited by the school, so for 700 watts it works just fine for its purpose.

We needed a specific size to fit an opening without added trim. According to the advertise specifications on the internet this was exactly the size needed, but when it arrived it was the same size as all other .7 microwave ovens. Therefore, we returned it and kept the original microwave.

We use this in our summer cottage that is very limited on space. This microwave heats nicely and feels like it is a quality built unit compared to other brands in the same price range.

It doesn't take up a lot of room, the glass plate inside sits tightly over the rotating platform, doesn't move and doesn't come off at all. The number pad is easy to see, even for someone who is mostly blind like my mum, and the presets are all well-programmed. There's nothing to really crow about, but it works really well and I am completely happy with it!

We have a small space to put our microwave so are limited to a 700W unit. Our last one was a Fridgidaire in which the painted surface flaked off and the metal rusted on the inside of the box and door. It was nasty. In looking at the warranty, rust was not covered. Go figure, no help from Frigidaire even though warranty was still in effect. Looked long and hard and finally bought this Avanti. Have only had it a few days, but so far it's great. Does a nice job of heating evenly and it looks great in our space. I like the glass tray inside, it sits down in and just lays on top of the spinner so you don't accidently pull it out when removing dishes as opposed to the Fridgidaire which sat up on some notches in the spinner and was always coming lose when removing dishes. I also like the reminder beeps every minute or so. Not too loud but definitely helpful since I'm forgetful. So far, the Avanti beats the Frigidaire hands down and I'm happy I bought it. I think it beats many of the other 700W units from reviews I've read. There weren't many reviews for this one but so many of the other manufacturers' 700W microwaves had such lousy reviews, I couldn't see buying one. The WalMart price with free shipping was the best I could find from all retailers. I'm happy so far. I hated the Frigidaire from the start so I'm way ahead at this point.
