Avanti (MO7192TB) 0.7 CF Electronic Microwave Oven Customer Reviews

How would you like to rate Avanti (MO7192TB) 0.7 CF Electronic Microwave Oven?

I bought this micro for its small size, black color, and the fact that Avanti warranted the magnetron tube for 7 years (I figured they considered their product was dependable and would last). Basically, I liked the features I got with this micro. Except that it beeps way too much--5 times before you can take something out of the oven. But more so, the micro fell short on dependability. The first one I tried lasted 2 weeks before it quit. I think the door sensor that shuts off the micro when the door opens got stuck in the off position even when the door was closed. The second one also has a door problem (not closing properly). The key pad has a big problem in that if you don't touch the keys with just perfect amount of pressure, they miss register and you have to reset and start again. I purchased an extended warrantee from Wal-Mart and I intend on using it to get another manufacturer's model.
