Bella - Pro Series 5.3 qt. Digital Air Fryer - Stainless Steel

Is there an automatic cutoff on this air fryer?

For each configuration, you may specify a shut-off time or leave it running for the predetermined period of time. For instance, my air fryer operates at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

This is such a cool appliance and I love everything about the concept and idea of it. It's just really really hard to get the timing right. I tried making fries several times and they would end up undercooked or burned, and it's almost impossible to get everything to cook evenly. The best results I had were actually when I put a few balls of cookie dough in there and baked them! Super quick, firm outside and gooey inside. I tried making kale chips and those ended up uneven and burned, probably because there is no preset for them. The one time I tried chicken breasts, those turned out great. The presets are nice and everything is easy to navigate. All of the pieces are really easy to remove and clean, which you don't often find with appliances like this. The only other complaint is that the beeps on the control panel and when the food is done are really loud! So no late-night cooking with this if you're not trying to wake the whole house. I wish I could find ways to use this more, but it is so unpredictable with the timing.

I've always been skeptical of air fryers but this thing really works great! It's easy to use, versatile, aesthetically pleasing, and makes tastey food! It takes only a small amount of olive oil, but turns out real "fried food" that is much healthier than traditional frying methods. I would definitely recommend this product as a great addition to any kitchen!

I just got the Bella 5.3 Qt air fryer and it's exactly as I hoped it would be. It's easy to use, easy to clean and makes great tasting food which is much healthier than if it was cooked in a regular fryer. I used the Bella Air Fryer to make breaded cheese sticks and wings and both came out perfect. This will be a staple in my kitchen for years to come. Highly recommended.

I bought this until yesterday for the size. It holds lots of food and actually cooks food well but... it does have some drawbacks. First hung I noticed was steam. Steam seeps out around the drawer sides while cooking and causes the sides to be wet with moisture. Steam also fogs up the display panel when the drawer is opened and while you are turning your meats. If you wipe the steam/water off the display, you wipe out all of the cool settings on the control panel and have to start all over again. Water droplets also run down under the basket area while flipping. Not a huge deal, but not ideal. Second issue (and a deal breaker for me) is with the basket drawer. It requires some force to remove it from the machine. Removal is not as big a deal as putting it back in the machine. There is an amazing amount of force required to shove the frying drawer back into the machine. Shoulds like a small detail but it is not. When you have to apply force to get the drawer back in, it shifts all of your food to the back end of the frying rack. This is a big deal to me and the reason I am returning this unit. When I spend time laying out my food for optimum “frying”, I do not want it all shoved to the back of the pan on top of itself. Kinda defeats the purpose. Overall, cooks well but has some major design flaws.

I have always been skeptical of air fryers - the idea seems too good to be true. But IT WORKS. A little bit of oil really does the trick. I've used it to make fish tacos, breaded popcorn shrimp, spring rolls, and chicken katsu cutlets. With the correct time and temperature (I followed recipes) - they came out perfectly. Just like baking. I even used it to reheat a cold slice of pizza and the crust came out crispy and delicious. Highly recommend this product for crunchy food lovers who want to stay healthy!

I was so excited to get this air fryer - i have one but its half the size and the size truly makes a difference. tonight we made ribs and they came out perfect in under 14 minutes. the key to this is to play around with times and temperatures - there are times i got it wrong but as i figure out weight and item, i am perfecting my meals and loving it! the touch screen is easy to use, it is not too big and fits well on my counter and easy to clean! looking forward to many more amazing meals.

After many of my friends telling me how great their air friers are, I finally got one, and it's really is awesome! One of the biggest things I enjoy about it is that the clean up is so much easier than my traditional deep fryer. That, and it's clearly much healthier! The only down fall is how noisey it seems to be. But I suppose my deep fryer is noisey too.

I've heard about Air Fryers making great "fried" foods with very little oil, but I never expected the food would be so good with just a few teaspoons of Olive Oil. I've made french fries, yes real french fries!! such a hit with my family. Last night we had appetizer night and I made the best Chicken Wings ever! The hamburgers I made were quick, easy and tasted very good, and there's no quess work with the Auto Menu selection. It is extremely easy to clean with the removable basket, and it doesn't heat up my whole kitchen as does my oven. I highly recommend this item.

I have been using this fryer for about a week now and it has been a lot of fun! It's easy to use, and suprisingly easy to clean too! (The frying basket comes out and can be submerged, the rest just needs a quick wipe down on occasion.) I made french fries because that is of course the quintessential fried food, they took a bit longer than in a grease frier but turned out better than I expected. Next I made the Zucchini Fries from the included recipe book and they were so yummy! I will definitely be making those again! Then the surprising part - there is a recipe for Banana Chocolate Chip Cupcakes, and I didn't realize you can bake in an air fryer. They were so easy to make and turned out very good in just 8 minutes! If there is a down side it would be that it is pretty large for storage purposes and is a little noisy when using. It is very nice looking though if you have room to leave it out on the counter!

I got this air fryer after wanting one of these forever. I've been told how great air fryer's are but I didn't realize how great. There are a million recipes and things you can make with this. Last night, I made sweet potato fries, burgers, and dessert empanadas in this and everything tasted amazing. It works pretty quickly and you get yummy food that is a lot healthier than the typical frying method. This fryer is aesthetically pleasing and has awesome, easy-to-use features. My new must have in the kitchen!
