Mixer head doesn’t attach to the stand. Cheaply made and impossible to use. Waste of money

Really hard to get mixer blades out not very user friendly. Other than that it seems great . The manufacturer recommend not to use longer than five minutes at a time but my icing recipe says ten minutes to get it done. Had to stop half way.

Worth the price for basic mixing needs. Got one for my mom for her birthday. She said it's small but great for creaming butter and sugar.

This mixer is made of cheap flimsey plastic. Once I opened the box I knew right away this mixer wouldn't last through one cake mix. This is no Betty Crocker mixer, just using the name.

I am actually returning it - not because of the product, but because I didn't research enough.
I will exchange it for a heavier mixer as I need to run for 8-10 minutes for one recipe ad this one
will only run at full speed for 5 minutes at a time.

Some reviewers seem to have expected it the other way around. You won't find a stand mixer in this price range. The beaters being offset to the side of the bowl is great, easy to add ingredients while mixing. And the bowl spins from a little gear drive, nice! If you want a real stand mixer for heavy jobs like bread dough the you're gonna have to spend some more dough. This does a nice job as long as it's the right job.

Cheap plastic product. First time I used it to whip cream and it stank like burning electrical wires. Do not buy!

I only had this thing for 2 1/2 months and used it maybe 6 or 7 times. The other day I was mixing 1 1/2 cups of water, 3 cupe of flour, a tablespoon of brown sugar and a tablespoon of yeast with the dough hooks and 10 minutes into the mixing the motor stopped cold, there was no sound and no smell so it could have been the switch or anything. The motor was a little hot so I let it cool down while I finished my baking project. The next day I plugged it in again and tried it out on several different outlets but to no avail, it was dead. It was a really cheap piece of junk to begin with; as I was using it the plastic would creak and make snapping sounds as the arm flexed back and forth.
Iam sick and tired of cheap chinese junk and I prefer not to have anything else from china; Iam tired of being abused and this will mean that I may have to stop using Amazon unless they start tightening their standards...

Motor seems very underpowered for what it's trying to do and it's very loud. Ok for mixing light mixes like cake or muffins.

Cheap. No good. Got good for a real Baker. Beaters dont stay in, whining loud noise, small, mix goes up past the beaters, loud, motor bout to burn out, not good for pound cakes or large batters

Bought this thinking I was buying quality. Proved to be a poor choice. Mixer does not sit properly on stand. Also found it doesn't mix deep enough. Cheaply made and poor operation. Okay for light duties but that's all

Gorgeous metallic red. Reasonable priced. I like the fact it can be used with or without the stand. I have arthritis and some days I just don't have the strength to hold a hand mixer for any length of time, so I thought I would try a stand mixer. But the a ridiculously expensive. I only bake occasionally, once a month or less, so investing hundreds in a stand mixer seemed frivolous. This one was inexpensive and I loved the retro look. Works well, the bowl actually spins. The only issue is that the bowl seems a bit small and it cant be replaced with a larger one as it is specifically designed to fit this mixer. But if a larger batch is needed, there is always the option of using the hand mixer. Cant speak to longevity or durability. Used it to make banana bread and it worked well. Pleased.

I bought this very recently, not because it seemed particularly special, but because it was the only mixer at the store within my price range. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was actually a very high quality mixer. It uses a very simple gear mechanism to provide a turntable (I was unaware it included a turntable, I thought it was just a platform) which for something at this price range should be considered very good value. It comes with the two basic attachments, dough hooks and beaters.
The stand is actually very sturdy and includes suction cups so that it is sturdy. The locking mechanism is extremely strong. Other reviews have stated it does not properly attach, this is wrong. It is just rather difficult to properly attach.
I was pretty upset that it did not include a whisk, even though it's compatible with other mixer's attachments they would not include the gear necessary to power the turntable and would thus only be usable while detached. I'd think a whisk should be standard for any mixer, especially as only one would need to be included as opposed to two beaters or dough hooks.
I took a star off because there is no eject button for the attachments and because no whisk was included

Bought this today and tried it out immediately as I'm debating if I should spend the money and buy a Kitchen Aid. I don't bake regularly but love making homemade cornbread for a family of 6 once a week. I was very nervous due to the other reviews, however, this mixer impressed. With all ingredients in, there was still lots of room left in the bowl. There was no splashing, and I only needed to go up to the third speed. This was quite powerful for my needs. Hoping this unit will last a while.
