I received this 6-Slice Convection Countertop Toaster Oven a month or so ago.  I've had no problems with it.  It works as it should.  I can toast, bake, and broil with it.  There is also a keep warm setting.  The "convection" part of it helps it cook food faster when baking.  This take a little getting used to so definitely start checking food for doneness early.  The manual is just a foldout.  It would have been nice if it included a few cooking times examples for baking.  It does not.  I recommend before using it for the first time that you put in on back for 10-15 minutes and then let it cool as it puts off an odor initially.  Be sure not to put anything on top of the toaster oven or have it against any walls or items when using.  This thing's exterior gets HOT!  It does have a warning label on it and it is no joke.  I don't think it would be good to use on the bake or broil settings for longer periods of times. Knowing this I think the cord should be longer.  Also, I don't know what bread they used but I find it fits 4 slices, not 6.  The removable crumb tray works great.  Very easy and quick to use. I think this toaster oven is very nice looking. It's perfect for baking/broiling smaller amounts of food without having to heat up and use a full size oven. Just need to make sure to leave a good space around it completely clear. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is not only a well-made product, but it also looks beautiful. It is constructed from beautiful crystal clear glass and sturdy stainless steel. I appreciated that the glass door was not only well-padded, but the tape that held the packaging in place didn't leave a residue, so I didn't have to waste time cleaning off sticky residue. Unpacking and assembly took just a couple of minutes. (Assembly consists of placing the rack and crumb tray in place.) This little oven does it all - toast, warm, bake, and broil. It comes with a tray, which slides onto the rack. I like that the rack can be positioned in three different places. It also has a crumb tray, which can be removed for easy cleaning. While I prefer to use my own cookware, I have heated up items directly on the included tray. It is very easy to clean, and it does not stain. The interior of this oven is large enough for most small bake pans. I've used this to bake cupcakes, pizza, heat up chicken nuggets, and toast bread and pastries. It is much faster than a normal oven, but it still heats evenly and consistently. This convection oven is simple to operate. It came with nicely printed clear instructions, although they weren't really necessary because the product was designed simply and logically, with words and numbers clearly printed on the dial areas. There are three dials. The top dial controls the temperature, bake, broil, and warming features. The center dial is a sixty minute timer, and the bottom dial is for toast. Personally, I prefer toasting bread in this oven. Not only can I monitor it through the glass, but this is much easier to clean than a toaster. I use to have two toasters because I had to have one exclusively for wheat-free/gluten-free products to eliminate the chances of cross contamination. So, my old toasters went straight into the trash.

Model: TO3210SSD, TO3230SBD I'm a HUGE fan of Convection technology and this oven proved to be no different. This oven is replacing my (huge) KitchenAid Microwave/Convection oven. (I had previously purchased the Hamilton Beach 0.7-cu ft Microwave Oven for under $50 (http://www.walmart.com/ip/20563927) when my KitchenAid died, so this was a great edition to supplement the loss of the convection oven side. This oven takes up minimal counter space compared to what I am used to. No more big and bulky ovens, this one proves to compete with its larger competitors although in a more compact and aesthetically pleasing in its stainless steel design. I would love to have one of these at work! The included instructions are a bit confusing at first: must turn dial past 20 with no easy visual setup instructions. The instructions do, however, come in two additional languages besides English: Spanish, and I believe French. The instructions did not come with a "Quick Start Guide;" something most consumers are used to receiving, however there is one available on the web right here: http://www.useandcaremanuals.com/pdf/TO3210_QuickStartGuide_Jan14.pdf I washed the external parts in warm water and soap prior to use. I would not suggest baking any item directly on the tray as, grease seems to adhere to it and is difficult, if not impossible to remove. I wrap the tray in foil for baking and would suggest the cookie baking sheets for cookies prior to baking as to not stain the tray. Recipes? We all love them and at first glance, there is only one. One recipe is on inside flap of box for “Easy Cinnamon Raisin Rollups.” SURPRISE! There are TONS of recipes for your new oven at: http://www.blackanddeckerappliances.com/Recipes.aspx Keep the shipping box or note the DATE CODE on the bottom of the box; you will need this for the warranty! I've cooked pizza and cornish game hen in the oven. Now it is time to bake a bun. This item is made in the People's Republic of China. 2-year Limited warranty. 3 rack positions Bake pan and rack included External crumb tray Bake, Broil, Toast, and Keep Warm functions 60-minute timer or STAY ON feature Dedicated toast timer Parts avail for crumb tray only

I like the size of the countertop convection oven. So far I have only used it to toast and to broil. I broiled pork chops once I figured out how to use it did not take very much time at all. I definitely had to watch it cooking as I have never used this type of oven before. Firstly the instructions say to unplug the oven when not in use. My husband went to toast pizza and it was not heating up. I tried as well thinking that he had plugged it in. The buttons on the front are rotary buttons and they continue to work by moving and dinging when the time is up. The plug is for the heating element only. Now the instructions that are included are not very clear at all. They do not describe this feature at all. Also some of the heating/ cooking instructions are not the same as what is listed on the oven underneath the buttons. Once we figured out the feature the pizza came out fine. It is also extremely easy to clean. Which I love! I also like the idea of not having to heat up my house in the summertime. With the exception that the definitely need a better instruction list (there was an additional caution page with no mention that the buttons work while it is unplugged) it does work very well and I am pleased with it. Glad I requested this item.

I was excited to begin using the Black & Decker Dining In Countertop Convection Oven in my kitchen! It is a great alternative to heating the large oven when you just need to cook something small or make cinnamon toast. I've also used it, rather than the microwave, to reheat leftovers. Microwaving pizza leaves you with a limp crust, but heating it up in this oven allows you to regain the crispness and makes it taste as fresh as when it was first baked. We have also made canned cinnamon rolls and found this oven to be the perfect size to do so. The knobs are easily understood, so directions for use are not necessary. Just set the temperature and time (and the darkness, if you are toasting) and you are ready to bake, broil, or toast. I would recommend this oven for side dishes, breakfast items, pizza (one frozen pizza fits perfectly), or broiling a serving or two of French Onion Soup. Not only does this use less energy than heating up the large oven, but it doesn't add as much heat to your kitchen as using a larger oven. I am happy with the design - silver with black accents and a glass door - and the size - it fits easily on the countertop. I was pleased that it came with a short cord because the outlet I use it located directly behind it on the wall above the counter, and I didn't have to coil extra cord behind it. (I also think this might accompany us on our next camping trip. It is portable and will give us additional options for cooking at the camp site. However, we may need an extension cord for outdoor use.)

I received the Black & Decker Dining In Countertop Convection Oven and was excited to try it. I didn't know much about convection cooking so wanted to read the manual to learn all I could about it. Imagine my surprise when this oven didn't even come with a manual! It comes with a small one page quick start guide and a safeguard instruction pamphlet and that was all. NO recipes to try except for one recipe on the box lid for cinnamon raisin rollups. This convection oven says it cooks foods 20% faster but I didn't find that it cooked things any faster than a regular oven or toaster oven. The power cord is extremely short for safety reasons but I like to plug it in on my island and to do so, I had to turn it so the back was right up to the edge of the counter. A little more cord would have been nice. This oven is very easy to use and does work great as just an oven but I was expecting something better as it says it is convection, which means it has a fan to circulate the air which is supposed to cut down on cooking time. The items I cooked in the oven came out fine and I will continue to use this oven. The oven comes with a tray for cooking or warming food items. It fits a 12" pizza which is nice but you can't put a 9x13 pan in it. It does seem well made. Overall I would not recommend this oven as a convection oven but if you are just looking for a regular oven, this one fills the job.

I love my Black and Decker 6 slice Counter Toaster. It fits right on the counter and looks great. It warms up very quickly and does a wonderful job of roasting vegetables and toasting bagels. It comes with a little pan which I cover with nonstick aluminum foil before placing anything on it. Setup and figuring out the knobs is very easy. The two bottom knobs make pleasant ticking sounds when in use. It sounds really cute when both are going at the same time. The analog knob design is probably more fitting for a retro kitchen, but because it is stainless steel it looks modern. You can roast or heat foods in here at a different temperature than what your main oven is roasting at. Do dinner in the oven, and cookies or grilled fruit for dessert in this. This also does perfect roasted peppers. The skin is charred just right and pops right off. The toaster is perfect for households of 2-4 people. This would make a wonderful gift for someone moving into a dorm, apartment, or setting up a kitchen area for their small business. Those who are wary of using microwaves will probably like this also. I recommend this for anyone who wants to cook small meals and not turn on their stove, its well worth the price.

The Black & Decker Dining in Countertop Convection Oven is really well made. It's stainless steel, with a full glass door that makes it easy for viewing whatever you are cooking. Cooks evenly from above and below. Three knobs, the top one you choose between baking, toasting, broiling, or warming. You can also choose the temperature with the top knob. The second knob is the timer. And the third knob is to choose how dark you want your toast if you choose to toast bread. Lots of features that work great. The outside of the oven heats up when the oven is on, so don't put anything on top and be careful not to fully touch the outside to prevent burning yourself. I think the tray that comes with the oven could have been made a little larger, but the oven itself is large enough that it can fit my 8 by 8 and 9 by 9 baking pans. So, if you have small baking trays or pans they will fit in the oven. This convection oven has so many features I think I will probably end up using it more than my large oven. I would definitely recommend this item. Great value for what you get.

When I got the Black & Decker Dining In Countertop Convection Oven. The oven came in attractive box. That had the convection oven well protected for shipping. When I got the oven out of the box. It came with the oven,A crumb pan, A baking rack, And a baking pan. I noticed this oven doesn't come with Instructions on how to use it. Settings, Or any cooking ideas. All it came with was a pamphlet that didn't really say anything. Witch I found a little disappointing. Out of the box the oven it's looks good. It has a brushed aluminum finish. It weighs about 11.8 pounds. It's 11 ¼ inches high, 18 inches wide, 12 ½ inches depth. The oven has a nice big glass door for viewing what your cooking that is 13 ½ inches long. The oven door handle is placed far enough away from the glass door that it keeps cool to the touch when is oven is hot. The accessories that cAme with the oven is a crumb catcher tray. That slides in and out from under the the glass cooking door for easy removal and cleaning of the crumb tray. The backing rack is steel and has a chrome plated finish. The oven has three different positions for the baking rack to sit on to fit your baking and broiling needs. Then there's the backing pan. That comes with it. On the right side of the oven is three control dials. The top dial is for setting your oven temperature heat, The second or middle dial is for the time you want to Bake, Broil, Toast, Or keep warm, The bottom dial is for making toast and choosing light or darker toast. All three dials are mechanical. You can hear the timer. It sounds like a loud clock. When the timer is up it makes a loud ding sound. For baking or broiling the oven has two heating elements on the top and the bottom of the oven. When I got this oven. Before I cooked food in it for the first time. I started it up with nothing in it for a few minutes to get the new kitchen electric appliance smell out it. So far anything I've cooked with the oven. I just set for what I would normal cook in my large kitchen stove oven. And it dose well. Now I can save a little money not having to cook everything in my kitchen stove oven and without all the heat from my large oven. The only set back I had with this oven is it didn't come with an instruction booklet or manual to get the novice started using the oven.

The “Black & Decker Dining In Countertop Convection Oven” is a greatly convenient and real energy saving small kitchen appliance. This unit comes with a cooking pan measuring 10 ¾ inches by 8 ¾ inches, one rack, and a bottom crumb tray. A 12 inch diameter pizza pan fits perfectly inside this convection oven. The “Black & Decker Dining In Countertop Convection Oven” is capable of baking and broiling. This convection oven's heat is generated by four infrared lamps, stretching the length of the oven, left to right. Two of the lamps are on the top and two on the bottom. These high heat emitting lights have been used in many applications for many years. One of the most common is their use in copiers and laser printers to fuse toner to paper. So I feel fairly certain that the heating elements for this oven should give many years of service. The oven's door is almost entirely glass for full view of the items cooking. With a stainless steal exterior and interior, maintenance and cleaning is very easy. We are “empty nesters” and I can see us using this convection oven more than our full size oven. The energy savings, of not having to heat a large oven, could be significant. I would definitely recommend this Black & Decker Convection Oven for everyone from the bachelor to the family needing the convenience of a countertop convection oven.
