The BISTRO Electric Burr Grinder crushes the coffee beans between conical burrs rather than chopping them, preventing the coffee from losing its characteristic taste and aroma. By twisting the upper bean container, the variable grind settings can be adjusted from a coarse French press setting all the way down to a fine ground for espresso, depending on the brewing method or personal taste. The BISTRO Electric Burr Grinder is made from ceramic, plastic, silicone.

  • Space-saving grinder holds an amazing 220gr of coffee and therefore allows for larger quantities in one go.
  • Settings allow you to grind from a coarse French press to a fine espresso with the ability to micro-adjust between settings
  • You can use a conical burr grinder for oily or flavored coffees and it is not likely to clog, like the other kinds of grinders
  • The tightly fitting plastic lid keeps the grounds from spilling

Grinds the beans fine, but makes a gigantic mess every time you use it. The container doesn't seal tightly and, because it is plastic, static makes the ground coffee fly out and all over the place. Also have to bang on it really hard to get all of the grounds out, and even then a tablespoon or so are left in the grinder only to fall all over when I try to pry the grounds container out. Very poorly designed. What a disappointment.

I bought this to replace an exact same grinder, same brand. This newer model is nothing like the older one. It is cheaper, and the grounds holder is plastic and half cylinder shaped, rather than the cylinder glass container the other one had. There is no stop timer on the grinder so you have to stop it or it keeps grinding. When it grinds, it sends grounds everywhere outside the plastic holder. The only reason I gave it two stars is because it does actually grind the coffee. I am very disappointed with the Bodum brand over this. I have always liked their products before. This was the third grinder from them that I had bought. The first and second one lasted many years. This one doesn't look like it will last long.

All the grind settings are accurate and I especially like the espresso grind. Burr grinders are the best. I also like the hopper because it has a tight fitting lid, perfect for storing the beans. It will grind as much or little as you need.

This grinder has variable settings from very coarse to powder fine. I love it! Best grinder I?ve ever used and allows me to keep my coffee in whole bean form right up until I?m ready to brew! No comparison to blade grinder. This burr grinder is excellent.

It is built solidly with a metal burr grinder. The housing is plastic which causes static electricity to build and grounds and dust stick to it, but for the price it's phenomenal!!

The grinder itself works fine, however the way it dispenses the grounds is a serious design flaw. I can't grind anything without grounds ending up all over my counter. I've tried all the settings, different coffee types, etc. the grounds are dispensed at an angle, and the come out of the top of the cup. very annoying!!

Great price, great grind, fast. Subtracting one star because of the static buildup and resulting mess. But overall I'm happy with my choice.

Great grinder! Fairly consistent getting, not too loud, ready to clean. This is probably the best grinder available for under$100. The one complaint that I have is that some of the papery parts of the bean escape the bottom reservoir and travel due to static and an poor seal

Very messy, did a good job grinding but also very loud! The collection bin is a difficult shape to get the ground coffee out with out making a big mess. Also there are a lot of grinds that spill when you take the bin out to empty it. All in all a poor design in that respect.
