i have grown up using Braun products and never got disappointed.this coffee grinder met my expectations. worked as expected and i was able to set it up and grind some fresh coffee in no time. its compact and does not take a lot of space. its easy to clean as well. i am not an expert but im able to get a fresh cup of coffee everyday. I am so proud of our new Braun fresh set grinder. I can fill my house with the freshness smell of coffee twice, once as it grinds and the other as it brews into my favorite cup. Has the capacity to grind enough coffee for 12-cups at once. But of course, If you prefer a deep rich taste then double-up by making only 6 cups with that 12-cup amount. - Clean up is easy- just a few grinds fall out when I pull out the container which the grinds fall into. I switched to the Braun Coffee Grinder from a blade grinder, and the difference in quality is very noticeable. The Braun Coffee Grinder has a burr design. What's the difference? Blade coffee grinders use a blade that rotates at a high speed, and chops off the beans, whereas burr mills use either flat or conical burrs to crush the beans. A burr mill is superior because it gives you a uniform grind. With blade coffee grinders, you also run the risk of overheating your beans, which diminishes aroma and flavor. Burr mills use a very slow speed, and a lot less friction, so your beans do not overheat. This method of grinding your beans leads to a professional taste - at home! The difference is noticeable. This grinder also features nine main grind settings and six intermediate options. These settings let you fine-tune your beans for drip coffee, espresso, French press or other craft coffee–style drinks. We all like to drink our coffee differently, so it allows for a nice personalization. Another nice option is that you can set your grinder to ground 2 to 12 cups, measuring the exact amount you need to pour into your coffee maker with the removable grinds container. I received a complimentary Braun Coffee Grinder for testing purposes. My grinder is a stainless steel and black. It plugs into an electrical socket for use and the back of the machine has storage for the cord when not in use. There's a knob on the side that can be set for 15 separate grind selections allowing for French press, drip or and espresso brew. On top of the machine you can set it to grind anywhere from 2 to 12 cups. The grind container is see thru so you can see the coffee grinds as you ground and is a large size capacity. The container is removable making it easy to pour your grinds right into the desired location for use. This comes with a cleaning brush and removable parts that are dishwasher safe. The only downside to this machine is I found the directions for use to be somewhat hard to follow. They are picture diagram only. My husband and I had difficulty getting the machine to even work at all. Eventually we realized we had the the upper burr grinder plate placed wrong. So through about 30 minutes of trial and error we were able to get the machine working. The machine has a push start and then push to stop. It also has an automatic shut off after non use. I love that the parts are easy to clean and dishwasher safe. I have come to enjoy this grinder and it produces grounds that make the best cups of coffee I've ever had. We grind for a k cup machine and prefer this method now. Even though the directions for use fell short, once you get it going it's the best thing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I absolutely love this Braun grinder my family is big on grinding our own coffee beans we like that fresh taste and really like the features this has like the 9 settings which can grind regular coffee, espresso beans or French press for that coarse coffee. I am extremely impressed with this coffee grinder. What's cool about it is not only can you choose how you want your coffee ground, but you can choose how much to grind. From a whole pot, half a pot, all the way down to a single cup which is great. It makes for a fresh cup every time, any time. I thought I knew how to grind my own coffee with my old grinder but it is my old grinder for a reason. The brush is a great tool to get in the books and crannys when cleaning it out also. I love the Braun Coffee Grinder it is very easy to use press the setting that I want and I do not have to worry about counting scoops. I pour the grinds into the machine from the removable grounds container, when finish I gently lift the lid and I am on my way to good tasting coffee. I love how it taste and smell. Braun coffee grinder in stainless steel/Black is a great product! I usually buy whole beans when I get coffe and grind them by hand. This product takes that work out for me. It makes your coffee taste amazing. It's hard to find a good coffee grinder but this one is superb. If anyone is in the market for one I would highly suggest getting this one! My husband who drink coffee loves this product because he is able to biy coffee beans and now ground them hisself. My husband is able to save alot of money since ground coffee is very expensive. I like how fine this machine ground the coffee beans up and it doesn't make alot of noise and it grounds the coffee very fine.
