We used this as a daily stove for about 6 months while our house was under construction. We still have it because it was so useful and convenient that I refuse to get rid of it. Pros: Small, easily portable, and convenient Cons: Burners are very close together, making it hard if you are using both with a large and medium pot/pan. Also, I haven't found a way to remove the coils so that I can clean underneath them, which is a bit irritating.

Far better than than Farberware garbage..burners get RED HOT.. so you can get to cooking. DO NOT purchase burner units that have a sealed cover..they suck..

Works perfect, cook nice, and it does boiled water, take some few minutes like gas stove does, I very satisfied so far with my burner, hope last me for years.

The burner works just fine, and meet all my expectations. It is good for the price. I can cook from small to medium meal on either the big or the small burner.

I based my purchase off of other reviews but they did not correctly state that the coils were not evenly flat causing an uneven cooking surface to the bottom of the pot. Only the center coil rested flat against the bottom of the pot whereas the outer coils didn't come in contact. The uneven coils result in using more power to offset the lack of surface contact of the outermost coils to the pot bottom. The unit did heat up just fine however and there were no other issues. Maybe it was just my unit that was poorly constructed but in either case, I had to return the product and will not purchase a replacement. Thank goodness WalMart stores make it EASY for returns as compared to Amazon's packing, taping, shipping, and receiving for refunds.

Picked this item up Friday and after hurricane IRMA I used it daily, running off my generator, able to cook several meals daily. It served my needs as expected and worked flawlessly! It uses only 1500 watts so it was easily handled by my generator. This is much safer to use inside the home than a gas or propane cook stove or BBQ grill. It worked great in an emergency and can also be used to keep food warm in the dining room. I am very pleased with the good quality, especially at the low price and free shipping. I would highly recommend it.
