The design is beautiful, and and the toaster works fine. But no explanation is given regarding the reheat and defrost buttons. You have to figure it out on your own.

We were really looking forward to adding this retro toaster to our vintage kitchen, but when it arrived I thought it looked a little flimsy. Sure enough, on the first attempt to toast bread, something inside went pop-sproing (?!) and the toaster lever hung loose. We returned it asap and got a no-frills $10 toaster from Walmart that works well.

Loved the color however only toasted the outside of the bread so am in process of reboxing it to send it back
