Brim - 1.6-Oz Electric Handheld Electric Coffee Grinder - Stainless Steel Reviews

I bought this last week, and used it for the first time this morning (4/8/2020). I filled the hopper with beans, locked the top in place, set it to the finest grind setting, plugged it in, and turned it on. It did a little "test spin" moving back and forth, then began to grind. After about 3 seconds of grinding, the top began to spin around wrapping itsself in the cord. I quickly shut it off, unwound it, and restarted it holding the top firmly in my hand. At this point, the base began spinning. So, I grabbed hold of the base. This caused the grind setting to now spin to the coarsest grind. I shut it off, set the grind back to the finest setting. In order to successfully grind the beans, I had to hold the top, base, and clear plastic midsection in a vise grip. This cannot be how it is intended to work. Very disappointed.

The grind quality is consistent and I like how it doesn't have an auto shutoff (the auto-off on small grinders doesn't tend to work well, stopping the unit before it is done). I also like how you just plug it in, rather than having a battery (its more powerful this way, and works when you need it). The main fault of the unit is that the grinds leak out of the bottom! This isn't a deal breaker, but it seems like it could have been designed better. The cone shape is an inefficient use of space, but its still pretty small. It is loud and takes a while to grind, but considering the size, I cannot fault it for those factors.

I was painstakingly looking for a perfect grinder for my needs. Wanted a Burr grinder, small, easy, and efficient. Then along came this one! First off, its gorgeous! Second, its super easy, and lastly, it super efficient and makes excellent grinds in any size, consistently! I don't mind the small size and amount it can grind at all as I am only grinding for myself. Also, with a full hopper you will get more then enough grinds. Buy this, you will love it!

I was using a super old grinder so you can imagine how excited I was to get this one! It did not disappoint. I like how it is a slower speed because it didn't ruin the smell of the beans. I also have a toddler and washing dishes doesn't need come easy so the fact this was as an easy clean made it a winner!

Love the size of this grinder - it fits in the cabinets or the drawers - easy to clean and grind. It has multiple grind options. Since its just me in the house who would make coffee this is the perfect size grinder to toss a few beans in and get my coffee going - but if i wanted to grind coffee for my Cold Brew i think the Burr Grinder is my better options as it can grind more beans in one shot. this grinder was a perfect fit for a small serving but i was surprised to hit on - it is a little louder than i excepted.

Being a serious coffee drinker, I was thrilled to receive the Brim Electric Handheld Burr Grinder. What attracted me to the product was the compact, easy to use size and the convenient nine settings for the grounds. After two weeks of using the product, I've tried each of the settings and it didn't disappoint. Top quality at a fair price. As an added bonus, it was very easy to clean. I highly recommend this to anyone who prefers a quick and easy approach to make their coffee from freshly ground beans.

I like the small size, and the quiet tone of the grind. It takes a few minutes, sure. But I like that about it. Small batch and slow -- brings some deep breaths to your morning. Not for the anxious Mr. Coffee-maker faint of heart.

Brim's Electric Handheld Burr Grinder is just what I wanted! With its wide range of settings, it consistently grinds my coffee beans to the exact size I need. I've used it to grind beans for my pour-over coffee maker and my French press, and both results were perfect. Plus, it looks great on my counter. The one downside is that I have a little trouble removing the bottom tray (although I suspect I'll get better at it as I get used to it). Overall, though, I'm quite pleased with this grinder.

There's a lot I like about this grinder -- the features on being able to change the size of the grind is great, and the place at the bottom where the grounds collect is really convenient to pour out of and to clean easily. I also love that this grinder is much quieter than other conventional grinders I have had! Just two drawbacks with this one for me. In order to grind enough beans to use in my pour over, I had to grind in two batches -- all the beans wouldn't fit in the grinder. And second, it is slooooooow. Definite minutes passed before everything was all ground. It was ground really well and the coffee was delicious, but boy did it take forever.

I really like the handheld electric burr grinder. It took me a try of leaving the "door" in the base of the grinder open and spilling grinds everywhere before I realized it needed to be closed. Not too loud, easy to use. This is great for coffee for one or two. Any more, and you'd be waiting a little while!
