The coffee container of my first order was broken when I received it, but the second one that they sent, was all right. It's doing great, all you get are in the same size. If you are a real coffee drinker, don't waste your time with a blade grinder. Even the best blade grinders make some fine and some coarse in every grind. The only problem of this grinder is the cleaning, specially when using the fine mode some left around the grinding wheels. Anyway, I'm enjoying fresh grind and fresh brewed coffee since I got it. Thanks hayneedle. Thanks Capresso.

My son wanted a coffee grinder for Christmas and they make French Press coffee only so I did research on what make to buy him. I felt this product was the best. He says it works great and makes the prefect grind of coffee beans for his French Press coffee! thank you!

I haven't had this long, so I don't know about durability. It makes a good, versatile grind. I found the directions somewhat confusing but figured them out. The big downside is that it's definitely not easy to clean, as the box claims. You're supposed to take everything apart every single day (as if you have time in the morning) and brush out the coffee grounds inside the machine with the small,not-durable brush provided, a very messy process requiring a sink-scrubbing afterwards. The price is very good compared to other burr grinders.

Compared to other grinders, when this one grinds for 2 cups it is 2 cups of coffee. The 2 is actually the exact amount for a double espresso shot. You can spend a lot more for a grinder and the quality is no better. Unless you have a $1000 espresso machine this grinder is great.

I live in an area where you can't "good" coffee, whole bean or otherwise and being a coffee lover forced me to purchase and have coffee shipped to me. I prefer whole bean so that I can grind it myself...much fresher. This grinder has been a life saver! Not only is it quieter than most grinders; it is consistent with the grind and easy to use. I recently had to return my grinder because I had a small problem getting the hopper to fit back on the grinder and am waiting for my replacement and can't wait!

I bought a Capresso burr grinder from [...] for $29.99. I was not impressed with it and was hesitant to buy this one. This one did not disappoint. The grinder is clean after use. Doesn't leave grinds on my counter. It is fairly quiet. I can talk to someone in the kitchen while it is running. It takes a few tries to dial in how you like your grind and how much you want it to grind. More expensive than a blade grinder, but it doesn't leave beans when it's done grinding.

This is so simple and quiet to use. It makes the best coffee I have ever tasted. It took a few tries before I made just enough for one pot at a time, but once I had that figured out it made the perfect pot. I use it once in the morning for a full pot and once at night for one cup of coffee. It can not get any fresher than that!! I would recommend this grinder to everyone who wants to enjoy the perfect cup of coffee.

Great machine that grinds coffee consistently and easy to care for. It comes apart without any hassle and cleans with a little bit of vigorous brushing. The one thing I do not like on this grinder is that there is no on/off button, it works completely on a sort of timer which is a very odd way of having a grinder work. I would really have liked a simple button, I could have understood ADDING the timer to an on/off button but solely a timer is just plain strange. Nevertheless the consistency of the grind and a very appealing price make more than up for a bit of noise and the timer switch. For its price, it is a very good deal if you like your cup of coffee.

I purchased this same coffee grinder for myself over a year ago and absolutely love it! I've used it every day and it has never once failed me. I grind my coffee for a French press, but the Capresso can be set for any type of grind you'd like. The one I just recently purchased is a Christmas gift for my oldest daughter, who is also a true coffee lover, so it's a gift I know she'll love!

I upgraded from a blade grinder and noticed the difference immediately! The coffee is GREAT! It is JUST TOO EASY to grind my beans, now. I just pour in a cup of beans, set the timer, and by the time I fill the pot with water, the beans are ready. The motor is LEGIT! The one con is the static on the collection cup--it tends to scatter the grinded coffee about. But, no big deal.
