The CHARD 20 lb. Meat Mixer is an essential tool for mixing multiple pound batches of sausage, jerky or other seasoned ground meat. The stainless-steel hopper has a 20-lb. capacity and the mixing blades are designed to fold the mix into itself which ensures that the seasoning is blended thoroughly and evenly for a consistent taste. The acrylic hopper cover has a convenient slot that allows the user to safely add spices while mixing. The long-lasting poly handle won’t split or splinter like wood and is removable for convenient storage. Non-skid rubber foot pads keep the stainless-steel hopper in place and provide a stable surface while mixing. Mixer disassembles for quick and easy clean up.

So easy to set up, cleans up fast. At 71 years and in not great health, I can use the handle and mix hamburger using venison and brisket. It was wonderful, wish we had this years ago.

this unit worked good , you need to add meat slow . don't pack it ,leave it loose. I did 8# for a few turns and added 8# more for a total of 16# .if you turn one way then the other way 6 or 7 turns each way about 15 times each way it mixed very well . but if you don't switch direction it won't mix very well!! also don't force it to hard or the blades will start to bend . adding some water to the mix helps a lot (about a once for every pound or two . if you take it easy it works great . the welds could have been better . good for the price !!

I bought this to mix my seasonings for my sausage and all i can say is if you do less than 10lbs at one time you'll be better off doing it by hand....anything over that and it still does not mix the seasoning very well and yesterday we had 16lbs of deer meat in it and the slot where the handle goes spread open and the handle wont turn...i crimped it back with a pair of pliers and tried again but was pretty sure it would not work seeing how that spot is now weak and i was right...as soon as there was any resistance it spread again rendering the mixer useless....i will be returning today and looking for something different....DO NOT Buy!!!!!

The assembly was easy and we were mixing ground venison with a little pork for low fat 'hamburger' in no time! This is a real time saver and the finished product is much more consistent than hand mixing.
