For cooks who like to share good times and good food! This portable slow cooker eliminates hassle and mess when transporting cooked foods from home. The secure-fitting lid and locking system create a tight seal between the stoneware and lid to ensure contents don't leak or spill. The Crock-Pot Cook & Carry Manual Slow Cooker is a one-pot-wonder for traveling to parties, tailgates, picnics, potlucks and more. With the unit you can slow cook, warm and then serve from the removable stoneware and eliminate extra pots, pans and dishes.

The Crock-Pot Cook & Carry Manual Slow Cooker is convenient for travel, potlucks, family gatherings, tailgating, parties, and just about any time you need to transport food prepared at home. The removable stoneware also doubles as a serving dish. It features high and low settings for flexible cooking times, and a warm setting to keep food at a good serving temperature so the crowd can enjoy your cooking whenever they wish. A dishwasher-safe insert and glass lid make cleanup quick and easy. Keeps food safe on the go with a hinged locking lid and carrying handles. Since there's no need to repack food in other containers, traveling is easier. The gasket lid helps keep the unit sealed, so food stays in the slow cooker and not on your car. Once you are done cooking, be sure to unplug and allow your slow cooker to cool before cleaning. The lid and stoneware can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water.

This crock pot works great however it IS NOT the red color shown on the box. It is more of a Texas A&M burgundy.

The first crock pot that I ordered, was in really bad shape. When the Walmart employee brought the box out from the back, the box was really beat up. I then asked her to open the box so that I could inspect it before I took it home. I was glad that I did, the crock pot was dented. I was then told she could refund my money to my card, but that I would have to re-order the item. That was a little disappointing, because I now had to wait another couple of weeks to get the crock pot. I did get the second pot and it is as advertised. I ordered this crock pot because I really liked the color, and have a red kitchen. I also liked the clamp down lid. Which works really well. Be warned that the color is a little less dark than the photos show. It is a really nice size and so far it has worked like I expected. I will also say that the lid does have a "rubber" type gasket around it to help seal it when clamped down. I worry that it may wear out with use and washing, and I do not know if those can be replaced, but at this price, it will be OK if I have to get another crock pot in a few years.

This is my second one of this model as I broke the locking device on the lid of my first one when I dropped it on tile floor. Prior to that I had it several months and it performed well. Good room for several servings of food or large roasts etc. I do wish Crock Pot would carry parts for sale for this model but I could not find a replacement lid after numerous time spent searching the internet, They had parts for others but not this model.

This is my second Crock-Pot Cook N Carry slow cooker and this one is even prettier than my first one. I love the shiny red color! The locking lid makes this cooker perfect for taking meals to friends or church functions. I purchased it online and picked it up at my local Wal-Mart. That was a very pleasant experience. I was notified as to when to pick it up and the gentleman who waited on me at the pick up section was very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall, it was a lovely experience.

Best Leg of Lamb I've ever made. Awesome Baby Back Ribs. Keep it simple. Stay away from the digital Crock Pots and definitely get the locking lid. Very small vent hole allows equal pressure and venting but works great.

I did a pot roast in this for the first time last week. The recipe asked for low setting for 9 hours. I came home during lunch just to check on it which is about 4 hours into cooking and the water was boiling and the meat was cooked. What would have happened if I didn't come home to switch to warm setting, everything would have burned.

This is a great crockpot, and the color just makes it more special. It doesn't have a timer or fancy accessories, but it has what I'm looking for: 6 qt with removable dish. I did notice that my recipe took longer in this crock pot, than my old one (5-6hr for the new, 4 for the old). Now that I know that, I can adjust for it. I love the "new" feature, the "warm" setting. My old pot just had High and Low.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas this year. I own a Crock pot brand pot, & I love it. I had a problem w/the old handles & they replaced the whole pot. They really stand behind their product.

I replaced my old crock pot with this new 6 quart unit. It lives up to my expectations which is tough to do. Here is the stats: From room temperature to simmer on LOW takes 3 hours, on HIGH it takes 2 hours for water to simmer. Pulls 240 watts. It cooked 8 chicken thighs with legs which were frozen to done in 8 hours. The stoneware insert is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. Works well with generators (if there is a power outage) and works great with Power Inverters (Solar Panels & Wind Power)... I just cooked a meat loaf using this Crock Pot using solar electricity. Overall very happy with the unit.
