I think this crock pot is the best one ever. Your food gets evenly cooked every time. The istir system is fantastic. I used it almost every day until it got broken in a move to a new home. I can't seem to find another one like it. It's to bad if they stopped making this line, I think everyone should have one with the self stir feature. Absolute WINNER in my book.

I've only used it once since receiving it but the istir stirring system is definitely an awesome thing to have. I especially like the new lids with the rubber lining and clamps rather than having the lid bubble and make that rattling noise. Works as great as all my other Crock-Pots. Thank you!

Many years ago my husband and I attended a business associate annual chili party. He had a crock pot that stirred the cheese dip. I asked where and when he bought it and he didn't know. I mentioned this to my sister who thinks I am hard to buy for. ( I am not I like everything.) She called the company an they said they stopped making those in the 1980's. I have been looking for a stirring crock pot and I hit the jackpot! I found it and bought 4. I kept 1 and gave 3 as gifts. I love it. I used it today for the first time and made beef stew. Loved it. You have nothing that builds up on the side walls. The stirring is fantastic. I was able to be gone for hours and not have to worry. The 3 I gave away were a hit. I love mine. It works!

This is the greatest thing ever for slow cooking! The iStir Crock Pot comes with 2 different stirring attachments that are very easy to use. It automatically stirs your food every 30 minutes for 5 minutes at a time. It also has a pulse button that you can push to stir the food for 1 minute & it doesn't interrupt the regular stir schedule. This also includes a regular handle that can be attached to the lid, in case you want to cook a chicken or something solid that doesn't need to be stirred. My favorite feature is the locking lid though. It seals in the heat while allowing minimal steam to be released through the vent hole. This Crock Pot also includes a Keep Warm setting, which is an amazing feature for things like vegetable soup, chili, beans or dips!

I bought this a little less than a month ago and use it frequently. I live alone and am on a limited budget. This crock-pot allows me to make large quantities and freeze in serving sizes. The food tastes better than it ever did in my old crock and I know the auto stirring and timing has a lot to do with it.

This is our second 6 quart crock pot that has experienced the same problem. Both units had the ceramic crock pot crack and break. Neither time were they dropped. My grandmas never experienced this and it's decades old. Clearly, there not made like they used to be.

I've had my iStir Crock-Pot for several weeks now. I love being able to stir my chowder, soup, or chili without ever having to take the lid off the pot. This means heat loss is minimized, my soups haven't scorched, and the contents are more uniformly heated and cooked. Everything but the Crock-Pot base unit and the motor for the stirrer go into the dishwasher (I put everything except the Crock on the top rack), and comes out looking like new. Great product! Now they just need to add the iStir option to the WeMo enabled Crock-Pot! (and maybe drop the price of the WeMo enabled pot ... a bit too steep for me) Although, really, if I had to choose between just the iStir capability, or just WeMo, it would be iStir, hands down, no question.

I was very suprised about how tender the beef came out and very tasty. I prepared all ingredients together early morning and went about my day when I came back for it dinner was done. It even did the stirring for me and nothing stuck to the bottom of the pot. I only had it for 4 days so far and have used it 3 out of the 4 days. I plan on investing in another one, no more standing over the stove for me.

This is a great product and the "stir" feature is quite functional. It starts stirring 2 hrs into the cooking and actually shortens the cooking time by not having to open the lid to hand stir. Glad I bought it and find it well worth the price. Definitely satisfied!
