Bought this 2 years ago , used at least once a month . replaced a 20 yr old crock pot with this upgrade. Now the ceramic insert has cracked along the entire bottom from side to side ... and apparently there are NO replacement parts for this model .. well played crock pot .. well played .. time to research other brands .

I have had this unit for a couple of years replacing one I'd had for 10 years—I love this programable crockpot and use it occasionally to make pot roasts, etc. On Christmas Day I noticed juices on my counter and saw that the insert had cracked! I've never had anything like that happen before and I've used crockpot brand slow cookers since the 80's. The unit itself has burned on bits from the leaking and I can't find a replacement insert. I am not happy at all.

I've had this for a little over two years and only recently started using it regularly, approx once a week and I absolutely LOVED it. This morning I had the stoneware insert upside down on my countertop drying from being washed. I was trying to open glass jar, the jar slipped out of my hands and managed to break the stoneware insert! How in the world can a glass Mason jar break stoneware and not break itself?! Ugh, I am so disappointed in the durability of this and am super bummed out that I have to replace it and even more bummed out that it happened in the middle of the holidays and now I can't enjoy yummy roasts, chili, soups and more until I get a new one. Happy Holidays to me?

We bought this Crock Pot to replace a 10 year old one. We used the old one ALOT. After exactly one year and about 20 uses, the insert looked like it started to leak. I've never experienced that before. We took it out and saw a clean line all around the bottom of the insert. Once it cooled, we tranferred the contents to a container, lifted it to wash and the bottom of it stayed on the counter! It looked like you sliced it with a laser (see pics) I'm out of warrantee and have to buy a new one. Will probably look at another brand. Maybe Crock Pot's best days are behind them. Needless to say - super disappointed.

I received this particular crockpot 2 years ago as a gift....I loved it. I don't use it very often but until this week I have not experienced any issues. I went to use it for a carry in at work only to see it leaking. I first thought I must have spilled while stirring. I transferred my food to another container and figured I would check it later. I washed it and noticed there is a crack that is almost not even visible along the side and one you can only feel on the bottom. When not in use it sits atop my refrigerator so there is no way it has been dropped, bumped, or any other damage could occur. I am so disappointed. I would say spend a little more and get one that doesn't mysteriously crack....they look like stress fractures. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have had this crock pot for less than 2 years. I use it maybe once every couple of months - definitely not heavy use. I use and wash according to manufacturer's instructions. Today I pulled it out of the cabinet only to find the black glaze on the ceramic liner to be cracked all over, inside and out - with a powdery substance (the ceramic beneath, I presume) coming out of the cracks. Tried to purchase a new ceramic crock, they are out of stock - and it seems they have been out of stock for some time, because I found an inquiry on this website from nine months ago where they were out of stock. So now I need a whole new crock pot, except after this dismal failure, I am not sure I want to spend my money on this brand again. They sure don't make them like they used to (crock is wet in photo because I tried rinsing the powdery residue off).

I slow cook beef tri tip for the family once a month, shreeded beef also one a month and beans 3 times a month , and thats about all the action one gets ,the other is unboxed but like new ,only used once ...what is your suggestion for episodes like this. I honestly did not expect the ceramic to crack

It burns everything! Even on the keep warm setting it's running at over 200 degrees!! That'/ medium heat on a stove top burner! I hate that I wasted my money on this!
