Hard to use the coffeemaker. The lid is hard to get in place. Dont want it to slip off while pouring. Also, have a difficult time taking the top up to empty the grounds.

An excellent, compact coffeemaker that's easy to use. It consistently delivers a fine cup of hot coffee every time. A great choice, especially where counter-space is limited.

I'm not satisfied with this purchase. I had one of these several years ago that I bought at a thrift store. That one worked fine. This one is loud and takes more than 20 minutes to brew the coffee. It only brews one mug of coffee, maybe 1 and 1/4 of a mug. I knew it was small but thought it could do a little more than that. As another reviewer warned, the measurements inside the carafe don't match the measurement ladder inside the water reservoir.

Instructions say one water cycle is enough to get the "new pot" factory taste out, but should give it 2-3 cycles. I like the size and style. I really went for this pot for the stainless steel carafe, as I have broken quite a few glass ones over the years. It is a basic no frills design, but functions well.

Good for making a 12 ounce cup of coffee by adding water to the 3 level as measured on the internal guide. Internal timer set for 30 minutes. Must have the lid secured or water and steam will leak. Must read the instructions before use and follow the details. Stainless steel pot is not insulated so after 30 minutes the remaining coffee will cool rapidly.

We had a Cuisinart 4 Cup Coffeemaker for a couple of decades. Simple and reliable. We replaced it with a glamorous K-cup contraption. After a few months it collapsed and we bought a second. After a few months it collapsed and we bought a third. After #3 collapsed I went back to simple and reliable, another Cuisinart 4 Cup Coffeemaker. No regrets.

Does the job nicely. Looks good and makes a nice pot of coffee. Pours well into the cup without drips and without holding on the lid. I didn't NEED a new coffeemaker, but liked this one and decided to replace my glass pot maker...and glad i did. The 'old' maker was only a year old and went to the local thrift store. I'm high maintenance on all things pertaining to my coffee and this coffeemaker checks all the boxes.

This is our 3rd Cuisinart 4 Cup Coffeemaker in 20 years, this time a replacement for the one with the corroding heat plate. This item is a trooper! Love the stainless steel carafe which keeps coffee hot (unlike glass ones) with an auto-shut-off. Makes the right amount of brewed morning coffee for this happy camper.

I purchased a refurbished Cuisinart 4-Cup Coffeemaker with Stainless Carafe several years ago and I'm still using it. This coffee make makes a good cup of coffee because it uses cone shape filters. I prefer Gevalia brand of coffee. It is available at Walmart. I recently purchased a Cuisinart gold coffee filter and it works well. I understand some of the frustrations other reviewers wrote about. Here is how I overcome some of the issues. After the coffee is done brewing I remove the lid from the carafe and then pour. I make sure the carafe is slid in place on the burner so that the valve at the bottom of the coffee filter holder is up. This will help avoid the filter filling up with water and making a mess. This is a common problem on pause and serve coffee makers. I personalty make enough coffee for the serving desired and then turn off the coffee maker.
