Purchased Pro Classic 7 Cup Processor to replace my Cuisinart DLC-10E which I have used since 1981 (40 years) I was concerned that the new version would not meet my expectations of my heavy duty "oldie". I am delighted with the new version! It has a heavy duty base, easy to operate, easy to clean and it has a small footprint for storage. The only suggestion is for a container to hold all the accessories. I purchased the disc holder but still need something for the stem.

I am a widower living alone and this mid-size food processor is just right for my needs. When my previous 25 year old processor destroyed itself because of poor blade attachment (subsequently recalled), I shopped for a replacement with a simpler & up-to-date design. The Pro Classic 7-Cup has a small footprint with direct-drive vertical power train, is well thought-out for use with various food types/sizes and is not difficult to clean. Cuisinart quality is obvious throughout the device. I am very pleased.

This is my second 7 cup Pro Classic food processor I had used over the years. The first one is still being used by a family member that was borrowed a few years back. Got tired of waiting for mine back so I replaced it with the same thing because of it's compact size, works very well and would highly recommend one to friends and family.

This I a heavy unit so it doesn't slide around on the counter when it is running. I replay my 3 year old cuisinart pro 7, and I love it. Good product.

There is a learning curve with this but if you read the instructions or have a friend show you it works like a charm. No more hand slicing for me. I use a hand towel to remove the blade so no chance of hurting me!! Love it.

I love, love this food processor. It is the perfect size for All that you need to do. Not tooo big, not too small. It is quiet. Easy to use. It did take me a couple tries to get to understand the top closure and attached pusher, but once I did, it was so easy. It literally takes seconds to slice. I find I am cooking and baking more now. My pie crust are so delicious. I got so many compliments on them at Thanksgiving. The enclosed instruction booklet had the best pie crust recipe in it. This is a winner in every way. You won't go wrong with this purchase. Oh, did I mention that I Love it?

I thought I was going to receive this Cuisinart in two days which would have been great but it arrived the next day which was a pleasant surprise. The Moulinex “La Machine” food processor that I bought in the late seventies finally stopped working . This 7 cup Cuisinart is perfect for me and very easy to use and Walmart had the lowest price I could find, with free shipping . Very satisfied!!

Finally had to replace my 28 year old food processor. The release pin in the top broke. I was surprised to see that the current model isn't much different from the old one. The best thing is the additional flat cover without the long feed tube. I hated having to clean that. I may use it more. If it ain't broke don't try and fix it. That's very uncommon in today's world.

Love this machine. I could use it straight out of the box, after a wipe down. Love the flat lid as an alternative to the feeder tube lid. Brilliant. Attaching the stem on the cutter disks had me puzzled for a while but I checked out the online video and that showed me. I was tempted by the 14-cup but the 7-cup is plenty large for all my needs. Pastry and crumb bases are a breeze. I will buy an extra slicer disk to produce thinner slices than the one that comes with the unit. The only reason I bought a new processor was because the bowl and lid on my old Cuisinart DLC 10 needed replacing for the second time after 25+ years, and I wasn't sure if the replacement ones would fit. Delighted with my purchase. And it arrived in record time, a day earlier than scheduled.

I like to cook in bulk an this really helps with meal prep. The price reflects he quality which is great. This model was a compromise between price and size. I wanted this thing's larger relative but at the time it was out of my price range and the size of my apartment. I still lab to buy the larger version. I prefer batch cooking more than two recipes at a time. The amoun of liquid volume the pitcher can hold was a let down but this is my first food processor so I chalk it to I experience.
